Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) encompasses a vast array of physical and psychological symptoms. Of the herbal supplements mentioned for remedy PMS symptoms, chamomile used as an effective herbal medicine. The overall purpose of this review was to determine the efficacy of chamomile on the treatment PMS. An extensive research review using Web of Science, the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register database, PubMed, Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), CINAHL, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Psych INFO, Social Science Research Network, SID, Google Scholar, Iran Doc, Magiran and Iran Medex. Eligible studies were identified from English and Persian databases, published between 1990 and 2019. Studies were screened independently by two researchers who performed the data extraction. Of Twenty-seven studies identified, Eight RCTs met our inclusion criteria. Chamomile has been used to treat PMS relief because of therapeutic properties such as anti-inflammatory effects (Chamazulene and α-Bisabolol); anti-spasmodic effects (Apigenin, Quercetin, and Luteolin, Metoxicomarin, Matrisin, and Phytoestrogens); anti-anxiety effects (Glycine, Flavonoid). The results of this review show that Chamomile is effective for the treatment of PMS. Based on these results, we believe that Chamomile can be used as good herbal medicine to treat in women with PMS.
Background: The purpose of this systematic review was to investigate the effects of digital therapeutics for insomnia on sleep disorders and mental health improvement compared to the control group. Methods: Following the guidelines on systematic review(PRISMA, NECA), a literature search was conducted through PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, RISS, KISS, and KoreaMed using keywords. The Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool and Review Manager version 5.3 were used for risk of bias and effect size assessment. Results: Thirty eight RCT met criteria for inclusion. When compared against three control conditions, the digital therapeutics for insomnia was an effective intervention for improvement sleep disorders and mental health in comparison to waiting list and Patient-directed care with some intervention by medical staff. However, digital therapeutics for insomnia were no more effective than face-to-face CBT-I control group. Conclusion: The efficacy of digital therapeutics for insomnia was evaluated differently depending on the control group. Therefore, in phase 3 clinical trials for efficacy evaluation, it is necessary to review whether the control group has been properly established.
The sharing economy (SE) describes an economic system in which consumers share a product or service via collaborative consumption. Reasonably, the SE receives much attention in the fashion industry as a sustainable form of consumption. However, a systematic review of the antecedents and outcomes of consumer participation in SE is limited by researchers' and practitioners' hindered understanding of what consumers expect and gain from the SE. This study offers a systematic review of the SE research conducted from January 2016 to July 2021 and proposes a conceptual model. In terms of antecedents, three factors, composed of nine categories and 153 variables, were identified: 1) consumer factors (80 variables), 2) platform/product factors (69 variables), and 3) environmental factors (4 variables). The outcomes included 14 variables divided into two categories: 1) positive outcomes (8 variables) and 2) negative outcomes (6 variables). The results provide recommendations for future research on applying the SE to the fashion sector. First, to more thoroughly investigating antecedents of consumer participation in fashion sharing, the research must focus on barriers and environmental factors, in addition to demographic and psychological variables. Secondly, research on the outcomes of participating in fashion sharing, including economic and social benefits, is needed.

We conducted a comprehensive review on the previous research on r-Learning. By reviewing 843 previous studies about r-Learning published from 2004 to 2015, this study investigated 1) the trend of research on r-Learning over time, 2) the characteristics of targeted students in r-Learning, 3) the educational activities implemented for r-Learning, and 4) the types of educational robots used for r-Learning. The study found that the research on r-Learning has rapidly and steadily increased and the types of educational activities and educational robots has been diversified. Relying on the findings of this review, this study suggests 1) ensuring growth in both the quality and the quantity of research on r-Learning, 2) broadening the target student population of r-Learning beyond the age-limited boundaries, 3) enhancing educational activities of r-Learning, and 4) recognizing the necessity for systematic and clear concepts of types of educational robots.
Objective Personality traits can be the basis for individual differences in the biological response of stress. To date, many psychobiological studies have been conducted to clarify the relationship between personality and biological reactivity to stress. This review summarizes the most important findings in this area of research. Results Key findings related to the relationship between personality factors and stress-sensitive biological systems in four research models have been summarized; model of psychosocial characteristics, model based on Rumination and Emotional Inhibition, Eysenck's biopsychological model, and Five-Factor Approach of Personality. Conclusion According to the results of this review, it can be concluded that personality typology of individuals influenced their biological reactivity to stressful events. Understanding the biological basis of personality can help to better understand vulnerability to stress. Future research can be continuing based on framework of the four models.
Background: Shammah is a traditional form of chewing tobacco [smokeless tobacco, (ST)] that is commonly used in the Middle East especially in Saudi Arabia (KSA), Yemen and Sudan. The Substance Abuse Research Centre (SARC) at Jazan University noted that no adequate research and information on the prevalence of shammah use in the province of Jazan, and KSA as well, has been provided in the scientific literature. Materials and Methods: An intensive systematic review of online databases was performed, including AMED (The Allied and Complementary Medicine Database), Biological Abstracts, Cochrane Collection Plus, Dentistry and Oral Sciences Source, E-Journals Database, EBSCO Discovery Service, MEDLINE, PEMSoft, PEP Archive, PsycARTICLES, scopus, Sciencedirect and Google Scholar. Results: Shammah is a mixture of powdered tobacco, lime, ash, black pepper, oils and flavorings. ST in KSA is placed in the buccal or lower labial vestibule of the mouth. The user (or dipper) spits out insoluble debris. The importation of ST products is prohibited in KSA. Accessible information on legislative action to control the use of ST in KSA appeared in 1990. The actual percentage use may be higher, than reported since shammah is illegal in KSA and there may be some reluctance to admit to its use. Conclusions: This review paper is an initial step in a funded research project by SARC to understand the pattern of use of shammah and provide adequate epidemiological data. One goal of this review is to generate further data for public health education.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the gaps in research related to developmentally supportive care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The ultimate goal was to explore directions of further research on developmentally supportive care for premature patients. Methods: The Arksey and O'Malley scoping review method was used. Articles on developmentally supportive care for preterm infants in the NICU, written in English or Korean, were identified through electronic search engines. A total of 279 papers were identified in the initial search, of which 22 full-text papers were included in this review. Results: Several nursing studies have been published in the past 5 years. The important elements of developmentally supportive care were family-centered care and management of the NICU environment. The primary developmentally supportive care interventions were training programs to promote the care competency of NICU nurses. Conclusion: It is necessary to actively develop comprehensive developmental support interventions that consider the various elements of developmentally supportive care for preterm infants. Additional studies should be done to develop programs that provide direct intervention for premature infant and their families.
In this paper, we presented directions of future research based on the result of the systematic review about the effect of maker education. Selected paper were 32, and we analyzed papers in terms of research status, research design, participants, areas, learning style, and educational effect. The purpose of the study is to review research in concept, measurement, effect, and influence factor of teacher efficacy. Through the review of previous research, the study shows that the concept of teacher efficacy is likely to be situation-specific rather than teacher characteristic. And the study represents that the measurement of teacher efficacy is related to the development of measurement instrument and the extraction of construct. The effect of teacher efficacy concerns the relationship between teacher efficacy and the student's academic achievement and affective traits such as motivation, interests, and attitude, and the relationship between teacher efficacy and teacher. And the influence factor of teacher efficacy concerns the influence of job environment related to teacher. The four things mentioned above are discussed in detail based on the previous research.
