축제식(築堤式) 폐양식장을 활용한 고창 갯벌 복원계획 수립 (A Establishment of Mud Flat Restoration Plan in Gochang Using Abandoned Embanked Farms)

  • This study was started with the objective of restoring abandoned embanked farms, which are recently increasing, to mud flat by putting in least amount of energy in the aspect of environmental restoration. For the direction and establishment of the proposal for the restoration of mud flat using embanked farms, a case of Maipo Wetland in Hongkong was analyzed, and a proposal was prepared considering the condition of mud flat in Gochang. The restoration of mud flat in Gochang is intended to create various wetland ecological spaces as well as to provide opportunities for experience, education, recreation, and tourism. Effort was made to development an environment closest to the local ecological environment considering the shape and topographical condition of existing abandoned farms. For construction of the habitat, a target species was chosen and the plan for selection, planting, and management of species of trees suitable for the target species was established. In addition, the water level will be controlled by water gates to conform to the resting, spawning, breeding, and migration period considering the behavioral pattern of waders, the target species. The research on the restoration of mud flat in Korea is in incipient stage and this study provided an opportunity to review the possibility of restoration of abandoned embanked farms to mud flat. For the success of mud flat restoration from a long-term perspective, development of acclimating design infrastructure, technology improvement for mud flat restoration, and basis of partnership for the maintenance should be prepared in a systematical way.

부여 석성산성의 식생 구조 및 관리 방안 (Vegetation Structures Analysis and Management Plan Proposal for Seokseong Fortress in Buyeo-Gun)

  • Vegetation structure of Seokseong fortress in Buyeo-Gun was investigated to suggest a desirable management proposal. Communities by phytosociological method were classified into Pinus rigida-Pinus densiflora community and Quercus variabilis community. The importance value of Pinus rigida, Pinus densiflora, Quercus variabilis, Pinus thunbergii, and Quercus acutissima were 127.06, 70.29, 69.63, 12.39 and 8.57. According to breast diameter analysis results, it is expected that the importance value of Pinus rigida, Pinus densiflora, and Quercus variabilis will be continuously increased. It should be prepared that vegetation management plan over the castle wall should be considered before the repair or restoration of castle wall. Vegetation management around castle wall should be carried out according to the mid or long-term plan and it would be needed to consider the gradual changes from planted Pinus rigida to the historical vegetation of Pinus densiflora.

백제의 고도(古都) 부여 성흥산성(聖興山城)의 식생구조 및 관리방안 (Vegetation Structures Analysis and Management Plan Proposal for the Sungheung Fortress in Buyeo-the Old city of Baekje)

  • Vegetation structure of Sungheung fortress in Buyeo was investigated to suggest a desirable management proposal. Forset communities by phytosociological method were classified into Pinus densiflora community, Quercus serrata community and Quercus aliena community. The importance value of Pinus densiflora, Quercus aliena, Quercus serrata, Quercus variabilis, Castanea crenata, Styrax japonica, Quercus acutissima and Prunus sargentii were 34.81, 13.57, 12.63, 6.73, 6.40, 4.70, 4.54 and 3.65. According to breast diameter analysis results, it is expected that the importance value of Pinus densiflora and Quercus spec. will be continuosly increased. It should be prepared that vegetation management plan over the castle wall should be considered before the repair or restoration of castle wall. 개발예정지역에서의 서식지 가치평가를 통한 보전지역 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Setting up Conservation Areas through Habitat Value Assessment of Developing Area)

  • For both a healthy environment and sustainable development, we frame a habitat assessment method, concerning biodiversity and physical characteristics. With the method, we set up and extract conservation areas from Peace Valley Resort Development Areas which can function as habitats. Absolute and relative assessment items which are the size of area, habitation of species with conservation value, distribution of communities, functions of habitats, ratio of non-native plants, connectivity of habitats, vegetation layers of forests and age of forests, and water systems are considered on newly extracted conservation areas, and the habitat value assessment was calculated on the items in a 3-point scale. By comparing and examining 3 existing proposals for extracted conservation areas, we assess existing proposals, make an alternative proposal, and try to verify the possibility of applicability to extracted conservation areas. Proposal A and C must not be adopted since almost all conservation areas would be developed in the proposals. Proposal B, consisting of 53% development areas and 47% non-development areas, does not have enough development areas, so high density building arrangements should be encouraged in order to preserve conservation areas. Therefore, proposal B would be the best in ecological terms among the 3 proposals, if 3 conditions are considered : 1) new extracted conservation areas should be conserved; 2) 10~15m wide green-zones on both sides of the water system, which can play a role as ecological corridors, should be considered in development areas; 3) building arrangement should not interrupt the ecological corridors.

이동 통신 시스템에서 사용자 이동성의 학습과 예측에 의한 이동성 데이타베이스의 실채 회복 (Failure Restoration of Mobility Databases by Learning and Prediction of User Mobility in Mobile Communication System)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 통신 시스템 내에 존재하는 이동성 데이타베이스의 실패 처리를 위한 이동성 학습과 예측에 기반한 회복 기법을 제안한다. 이동 통신 시스템에서 이동성 데이타베이스는 사용자들에게 빠른 연결을 제공하기 위해 사용자의 현재 위치 정보를 유지해야 한다 그러나, 이동성 데이터베이스의 실패는 사용자의 위치 정보를 잃어버리게 만든다. 결과적으로, 명백한 회복 과정 없이는 실패 상황에서 사용자의 호 요청은 거절된다. 따라서, 이동성 데이타베이스에 실패가 발생하였을 때, 실패에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 명백한 회복 기법이 사용자들에게 연속적인 서비스 가용성을 보장해 주기 위해서 필요하다. 본 논문의 회복 기법에서 사용되는 이동성 학습과 예측은 이동성 데이타베이스의 실패 후 시스템에 의해서 사용자의 위치를 파악하기 위한 기능을 담당한다. 실패 없는 연산 동안 사용자의 이동 패턴은 뉴로-퍼지 추론 시스템에 의해서 학습되며, 학습된 위치 정보는 실패 후 잃어버린 사용자의 위치를 파악하기 위해서 사용된다. 따라서, 본 논문의 회복 기법은 백업 과정과 검사점 정보를 저장하기 위해 필요한 부가적인 저장 공간을 요구하지 않기 때문에 검사점을 사용하는 이전의 접근방법과 다르다. 게다가, 성능 분석을 위한 시뮬레이션은 본 논문의 회복 기법이 실패 후 잃어버린 사용자의 위치 정보를 회복하는데 소요되는 비용을 검사점에 기반한 회복 기법과 비교하여 상당히 줄일 수 있음을 보여준다.

대체전시용 복식유물의 제작을 위한 제안 (Proposition for Duplicaion of Traditional Costumes for Alternate Exhibition)

  • The museum starts from drawing many visitors by opening remarkable exhibitions, and finally aims to realize the social and educational value. However artifacts on exhibition have antithetic conditions like limitation of collection, problems of preservation, etc. Already the museum exhibited paintings and fine arts reproduced with complete fidelity, so artistic artifacts have meet the aims of exhibition. we would like to make an alternative proposal about costume relics in this way. Costume relics need to reproduce in two ways. The one way is to reproduce with complete fidelity and the other way is to restore the original form. The reproduction and restoration need a concrete survey, historical research, textile like artifacts. Furthermore it is important to reconstruct breakage and discoloration. Permanent exhibition consisted of reproductions helps appreciating as well as protecting artifacts, so exhibition effect will be enhanced.

하천의 생물서식처 복원을 위한 하천자연도평가 : II. 평가방법의 적용 (The Evaluation of River Naturalness for Biological Habitat Restoration : II. Application of Evaluation Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 홍천강, 미호천, 내성천을 평가 대상하천으로 선정하여, '하천의 생물서식처 복원을 위한 하천 자연도평가 : I. 평가방법의 제안'에 따라 하천자연도평가를 시행하였다. 하천자연도의 종합평가결과 홍천강은 2등급(평균 1.92), 미호천은 2등급(평균 1.43), 내성천은 2등급(평균 2.31)으로 평가되었다. 수질과 하천자연도평가의 상관관계를 비교ㆍ분석한 결과, 수질과 하천자연도 종합평가결과의 상관계수가 0.575로 상관성이 매우 작게 분석되어, 하천자연도평가가 수질평가와 다른 관점에서 하천의 생태계를 평가하는 지표로 활용이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.는 지표로 활용이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.

파주 갈대 샛강 생태적 복원을 위한 식생구조 모니터링 연구 (Monitoring on Vegetation Structure for Ecological Restoration of Small Stream in Paju)

  • In this study vegetation structure was monitored focusing on slanting surface of stream for the purpose of developing a management plan and ecological restoration of small stream in Paju. The study was conducted by types of geographical structure, yearly flora, naturalization rate changes, actual vegetation changes, plant community changes. Slope area of small stream in Paju was varied in the slope range of $10{\sim}35^{\circ}$. The survey results of yearly flora showed that 37 species appeared in 2000, 55 species in 2001, 95 species in 2002, and 125 species in 2003. Therefore, the trend of continuous increase of flora each year was observed. In the case of yearly changes of actual vegetation, indigenous wetland herb community including Phragmites communis$(19.99%{\rightarrow}18.42%{\rightarrow}19.60%)$ did not show substantial changes in the area, while the influence of controlled flora such as Humulus scandens$(8.86%{\rightarrow}5.26%{\rightarrow}9.73%)$, and Ambrosia artemisiifolia$(1.06%{\rightarrow}1.43%{\rightarrow}6.93%)$ were increased. The vegetation structure investigated by 18 preset belt-transects also indicated that Phragmites communis and Miscanthus sacchariflorus were maintaining the status or decreasing the population, while the population of Humulus scandens, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Setaria viridis, and Erigeron canadensis were greatly increased. Our proposal management to restore ecology is as follows: first, preservation and restoration of Phragmites communis landscape; second, restoration of potential stream vegetation community; third, selection and removal of controlled plants.

도시하천의 생태적 재생계획에 관한 연구 - 안양시 수암천을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Ecological Rehabilitation Plan for Urban Stream - Focused on Suam Stream in Anyang City -)

  • The objective of this planning proposal is to rehabilitate the urban stream which has been ecologically disturbed in the urban process. The experimental stream, Su-am stream located in Anyang City is typical urban stream in adjacent land use and the spatial condition. The stream in the watershed context, is the second tributary of Han River, in the Anyangcheon watershed. The Characteristics of the stream reach were analyzed by the river corridor survey. In the conceptual phase, Rehabilitation Programs were established based on the hydrological, ecological and spatial characteristics of the stream. Spatial zoning concept according to the characteristics of the stream and adjacent land use, was suggested 4 types of zoning; ecological preservation zone, natural landscape zone, neighborhood water-friendly zone and CBD water-friendly zone. Implementation Practices can be summarized as follow: For The longitudinal river continuum, some In-stream practices were suggested and implemented; such as channel alignment, step & pool, pool & riffle and low-flow channel bank. For latitudinal continuum and intimate spatial relationship between Sam-duk Park & Su-am stream, gentle sloped bank was planned and implemented. After stream improvement & ecological Implementation, follow-up monitoring and adaptive management programs will be a meaningful process for ecological rehabilitation.
