간척지의 토지이용 현상과 문제점 파악 및 발전방향 - 충남, 전북, 전남 지역 지자체 및 한국농어촌공사 지사 대상 설문조사 - (The Status, Problems, and the Direction of Development of Land Use in Reclaimed Land - Survey for Local Governments and the KRC Branch in Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeonnam Province -)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the problems of reclamation sites and the prospects of farming in reclamation areas seen by local governments and the KRC branches in Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeonnam provinces. A mail survey method was used. The survey items were set for 15 items regarding the reclamation site situation, problems, and prospects. Seventy-five copies of the questionnaire were distributed to the local government, and 90 copies were sent to the KRC 165 copies in total. In response to the questionnaire, 72 recipients of the local governments responded, showing a 96% response rate, and 74 (82.2%) of the KRC responded. The overall response rate was 88.5%. The opinions on the rental method of the reclaimed land were found to differ according to the geographic conditions of the reclaimed land, the construction conditions, and the time. Regarding the survey on crops preferred for cultivation, rice was highest in both local governments (61%) and KRC (46%). When cultivating field crops in reclaimed land, 56% of local governments and 57% of KRC considered salinity as the most problematic or resolvable problem. Regarding growing other field crops in reclaimed land, salt and drainage problems were recognized as the biggest obstacles in all reclaimed land. As for technologies that need to be applied first for the future agriculture of reclamation land, KRC responded with automatic water management (48%) and local governments responded with unmanned agricultural machinery (32%). In order to diversify the land use in the reclamation area, it is necessary to reduce salt damage and ensure systematic maintenance, employing, for example, automatic water management facilities and drainage improvement methods. The results of this study can set a land use direction for reclamation sites and provide useful information for use in various forms.

강황과 울금으로부터 추출된 커큐민의 색도분석 : 반응표면분석법을 이용한 최적화 (Chromaticity Analysis of Curcumin Extracted from Curcuma and Turmeric: Optimization Using Response Surface Methodology)

  • 본 연구에서는 천연색소인 커큐민을 포함하고 있는 천연물인 강황과 울금으로부터 황색색소(목표색, L = 87.0, a = 7.43, b = 88.2)를 추출하였다. 기초실험을 통해 반응표면분석법에 사용될 계량인자의 범위는 두 천연물 모두 pH (3~7), 추출온도($40{\sim}70^{\circ}C$)로 설정하였다. 목표색에 가장 근접한 최적추출조건을 얻기 위해 반응표면분석법 중 중심합성계획모델을 접목하여 추출공정을 최적화하였다. 결과값 및 회귀방정식을 통해 주효과도 및 교호효과도를 분석해 강황 및 울금의 색공간과 색차는 b 값에 가장 큰 영향을 끼치는 것을 알았다. 또한 반응치인 색좌표 L, a, b를 모두 만족하는 최적조건은 강황의 경우 pH = 3.43, 추출온도 $54.8^{\circ}C$에서의 이론적 수치 L (74.67), a (5.69), b (70.08)이었으며, 이 조건에서 실제실험을 수행한 결과 L (72.92), a (5.32), b (72.17)로 측정되었다. 울금의 경우에는 pH = 5.22, 추출온도 $50.4^{\circ}C$에서의 이론적 수치 색좌표는 L (82.02), a (7.43), b (72.86)이었으며, 실제실험을 수행한 결과 L (81.85), a (5.39), b (71.58)로 나타나 두 경우 모두 1% 이내의 오차범위를 나타내었다. 따라서 천연원료의 색소추출공정의 최적화 과정으로 반응표면분석법 중 중심합성계획모델을 적용할 경우 낮은 오차율을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Objectives: Effective and efficient response for public health crisis necessitate planning how to respond and mobilize the resources in schools. We preformed this study to develop the strategies to improve efficiency of school health education in an outbreak of pandemic disease. Methods: We tried to review the policies, regulations and response systems of all related sectors, and advanced cases associated with pandemic disease control measures by searching databases and on-line networks connected with the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Results: It was important to implement a consistent and systematic approach for educational offices and schools to prevent confusion resulted from the inaccurate information. First, the systems and action plans for school health should be established to prepare and respond to an outbreak of pandemic disease. Secondly, the strategies to improve the efficiency of school health education in public health crisis should be in place. Finally, the personnel pool would be needed to provide the crisis management programs. Conclusion: In order for staffs and students to have abilities to respond in an outbreak of pandemic disease, comprehensive school health approaches and efficient educational efforts should be prepared in collaboration with related sectors.

국방획득 과정에서 SE개념 기반의 군사력건설 설계 방법론 연구(영향요인 우선순위 결정 중심으로) (A Study on the Design Methodology of SE-Based Military Force Construction in Defense Acquisition Process (Focusing on Influencing Factor Priorities))

  • This paper focuses on the SE concept based on the weapon system design, which is the lack of systematic research at the stage of military requirements creation prior to acquisition management phase. Influence factors were derived by focusing on the core issues that were at issue in the process of requirements analysis, requirements verification, and business management in recent years. Next, the impact factor was prioritized using the AHP technique and then alternatives were suggested. As a result, through the hierarchical analysis process, 'substantiation of necessity' was found to be the most important factor in the large category, and 'satisfaction of the operating concept' was the most important factor. In addition, as a result of calculating the final weight for each nutritional factor, it was analyzed in order of 'enemy threat response ability', 'response to operational environment change', 'performance considering operational environment', and 'guaranteed power generation'. The results of this analysis suggest which factors should be focused on, firstly, based on the concept of SE by the military and JCS.

호우 방향성에 의한 유역 유출응답 특성 평가 (Evaluating characteristics of runoff responses by rainfall direction)

  • 본 연구에서는 호우 방향성에 의한 유역 유출응답 특성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 호우와 하천망의 방향적 특성을 확률밀도함수로 정량화하였고, 각 방향성 함수를 회선적분하여 호우 방향성의 고려 유무에 따른 유출응답 특성을 비교하였다. 그 결과, 호우 방향성을 고려한 유출모의 결과는 호우 방향성을 고려하지 않은 경우에 비해 관측 유출자료와 더욱 유사함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 호우 방향성을 고려한 유역 반응함수에 의해 유출모의 결과가 보다 개선될 수 있음을 나타낸다. 따라서 본 연구성과는 호우 방향성에 따른 유역 반응함수의 비선형성을 고려함으로써 유출모의의 불확실성을 줄이는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This research is based on the environmental psychology model of Albert Mehrabian & JAMES a. Russell. The purpose of this research is to search a method of planning a spatial image improving the degree of access that is audience's dependent response to a display space image of a museum for children. A museum for children is the place for education with experience and its main audience is children and parents. It indicates with a basis of the environmental psychology model that a designer needs to consider the emotional response of children and parents in designing the space. The space design starts from a plan of space image that is delivered to audience through the five senses. Image on the space means visual image as people acquire information mostly through the sense of sight. Visual image consists of shape, the feel of a material, and color that is the most influential factor to the sensibility of audience. Therefore, firstly, this research measures the degree of audience's approach and avoidence on image of display space. In addition, this research suggests the improvement method by analyzing differences on the access of each space and audience based on visual image. Secondly, four factors are extracted through factor analysis based on the result of adjective survey result.

  • As national power consumption every year increases, the power plant which is in the process of planning tries to establish high-capacity generator. The power system tends to become a large size. With the progress of electronic components, the control systems of the generator have been digitalized and rapid-response control system is possible. However, the minute frequency vibration of grid occurred with the effect of rapid-response control system. To solve these problem, PPS(Power System Stability) has been introduced since 2004, and it has being installed and applied to the thermal and nuclear power plant which are high-capacity, over 800MVA. However the minute frequency vibration is gradually changed to the bigger frequency vibration by fast-action control system, and this regional frequency fluctuation might be diffused wide area. Therefore, it is applied to the hydro generator which is small with fast-action governor system, and it is necessary to control the minute frequency vibration to prevent to diffuse. In this paper, the effect will be proved by establishing PSS on the Hydro-Generator which has both digital excitation and governor system for the first time in Korea.

  • We consider a priority-based packet-switching system with three phases of the packet transmission time. Each packet belongs to one of several priority classes, and the packets of each class arrive at a switch in a Poison process. The switch transmits queued packets on a priority basis with three phases of preemption mechanism. Namely, the transmission time of each packet consists of a preemptive-repeat part for the header, a preemptive-resume part for the information field, and a nonpreemptive part for the trailer. By an exact analysis of the associated queueing model, we obtain the Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the distribution function for the delay, i.e., the time from arrival to transmission completion, of a packet for each class. We derive a set of equations that calculates the mean response time for each class recursively. Based on this result, we plot the numerical values of the mean response times for several parameter settings. The probability generating function and the mean for the number of packets of each class present in the system at an arbitrary time are also given.

  • This paper proposes a computation model of the quantity supplied to optimize inventory costs for the fast fashion. The model is based on a forecasting, a store and production capacity, an assortment planning and quick response model for fast fashion retailers, respectively. It is critical to develop a standardized business process and mathematical model to respond market trends and customer requirements in the fast fashion industry. Thus, we define a product supply model that consists of forecasting, assortment plan, store capacity plan based on the visual merchandising, and production capacity plan considering quick response of the fast fashion retailers. For the forecasting, the decomposition method and multiple regression model are applied. In order to optimize inventory costs. A heuristic algorithm for the quantity supplied is designed based on the assortment plan, store capacity plan and production capacity plan. It is shown that the heuristic algorithm produces a feasible solution which outperforms the average inventory cost of a global fast fashion company.

대학생이 희망하는 신혼부부주택의 조건 (The desire of undergraduate and postgraduate students newly married housing requirements)

  • With the rise in national GNP, there has been a surge in people requiring adequate housing. The most who are in need of adequate housing are fresh graduates who have entered the job market, and newly-wed couples. Given the current economic condition it is difficult for young people and newly-wed couples to find reasonably affordable accommodations. In response to this, the government is trying to formulate a new policy, with the aim of helping young married couples find decent accommodation in response to the housing shortage. Research was performed last July with the aim of looking at the differences between the newlyweds' expectation of the idealistic housing and conditions. Questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate and postgraduate research students to find out their requirements. The questionnaire investigated the social background and the condition of the inhabited area; housing type internal facilities; the space required for housing; interior finishing, and storage facilities. The survey results were analyzed using SPSS and found that the design of small residential areas, the space requirements of more diversified individualized areas were the most important concerns for undergraduate and postgraduate research students. From the study we hope this will form a foundation for the design of the future housing social stratum. It is hoped that the current results and conclusions of this survey will be of help for the korean community to provide a direction and a positive input in the future design of newly married housing.
