Due to the lack of a system that can detect/identify and strike North Korea's small unmanned aerial vehicles, no immediate response was made. In order to solve the problem of response, we should prepare for threats by developing weapons systems that can be immediately hit when identifying small-sized unmanned aerial vehicle detection radar and creating specialized research organizations for research and development of equipment.
The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of Quick Response adoption, and to recognize the implementation problems of QR system in the Korean fashion industry. We reviewed the theoretical background of QR system, analyzed the current status of QR adoption, and identified critical issues to implement the system in our fashion business environment. Previous literatures and information gained from communication service organizations were used for this study The major problems recognized are lack of inter-organizational information network, closed supply channels, non-standardization of QR implementation, and low level of information technology usage including KAN, POS, and EDI. Strong mutual partnership between streams for shared common goals and clear QR mind setting of top management with commitment to information sharing are considered needed for the successful adoption of QR system in domestic fashion industry.
SNS users are continuously increasing and SNS is emerging as a major PR channel of government. In particular, SNS can be a useful tool, but also the challenges for risk communication. This study is examined how nuclear regulatory organizations' SNS management and visitors' responses to the facebook pages in Korea and U.S.. Results indicated that both organizations frequently used information-oriented posting. Concerning the types of PR, NSSC tended to mainly use 'Relationship-Management PR', NRC mainly use 'Image PR.' In addition, our analyses on visitors' responses showed that visitors usually in response to participational and visual(ex. video, card news) typed contents. Based on its' results, this study provides practical suggestions for government's future SNS management strategies.

This study was conducted to investigate the responsiveness and its related factors of public health center for novel influenza A (H1N1) epidemic. The data was collected through a web-based survey conducted during February to April 2011. The 182 respondents were team leaders or persons who were responsible for H1N1-related work at public health centers during the H1N1 prevalence. The related factors affecting the responsiveness were different by urban or rural area. In the level of gu (urban) area, cooperation with the public organizations, preparing its own response plan were the significant factors. But, in the level of si or gun (rural) area, cooperation with private organizations (clinic or pharmacy), physical (facilities, equipments, and medicines), and human infrastructures (public health professions, education and knowledge, and motivation) were more important factors. Therefore, how to cope with H1N1 prevalence in the future should be different by local characteristics. As a result, there are several challenges that public health centers should prepare for the further emerging infectious diseases. First, it is needed to make standard manuals which could strengthen education and training in order to respond appropriately, as well as to prepare enough physical infrastructures for the crisis. Next, the public health center should prepare correct media response and cooperation system with public and private organizations.
Objectives : Bee venom has been widely practiced in many countries around the world. The number of clinical trials and biochemical researches on bee venom has been constantly increasing. The objective of this study is to analyze the trend of research on bee venom using bibliometric approach, a quantitative analytical method. Methods : We searched articles about bee venom which were published from 2000 to 2019 from Web of Science Database. Original and review articles published in English were included and data were extracted in terms of publication year, country, journal, keywords, organizations, and authors. Trends in bee venom research were visualized using VOSviewer program. Results : 1,547 English articles about bee venom were identified and analyzed. South Korea is a main hub in the field of bee venom research. Research organizations in South Korea showed high link strength with domestic organizations as well as with international organizations. A keyword analysis showed the following three major types of studies: studies on components of bee venom, studies on allergy and immune response, and clinical research of bee venom therapy. Conclusions : This study provides a macroscopic overview of the research on bee venom. This bibliometric analysis has identified influential authors and organizations in the field on bee venom research and provides a useful guideline to researchers who are in search of contributory research topics.
Purpose: This study is to provide basic data for establishing successful organization management strategies of organizations by understanding rank systems and duty types of dental hygienists who work in dental hospitals. Recently, scale and complexity of disaster are increasing by natural social factor, and there is limit for emergency response by single agency thereby. Therefore, when multi-agency conduct a response for disaster together at the scene, they need preparation for joint response in the advance for systematic mutual cooperation. Preparedness consist of various factors such as planning, securing of Organizations and resource, continuous education and training. This paper focus on emergency response plan and examine the existing state and problem of various plans and manuals. Also submit development way for establishing emergency response plan that had effectiveness through the foreign case analysis.
Purpose: This descriptive research study aimed to investigate the knowledge and perception of the natural disaster medical system by relevant disaster medical response teams in Jeonnam region, and provide baseline data for a disaster education program based on analysis of priorities of educational demand. Methods: Online questionnaires were distributed to 200 research participants including paramedics from five fire stations in J province, 22 public health centers, two disaster base hospitals, ERU (Emergency Response Units), and DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team). The questionnaires elicited basic information about respondents, their knowledge and perception on disaster preparation and response, cooperation system, and educational and training needs. Results: The top priority items selected were: other disasters for paramedics, first aid for the rapid response team, and command system for DMAT. Conclusion: Customized education and training programs must be developed to suit each organizational need. During disaster response, prioritization of limited resources is one of the most important but challenging tasks. At the same time, it is imperative to timely provide to the rescuers with the adequate heavy equipment to facilitate lifesaving operations. However, supply of high demand equipment is usually insufficient during the initial phase of disaster response, challenging lifesaving operations. At the same time, resources outside of the disaster affected zone converge into the area to assist the response efforts, which is the effect of convergence that often made resource coordination challenging in large scale disasters. Meanwhile, the initial condition of the disaster is usually best known by civilians already at the area before and during impact of the disaster. The knowledge of the civilians is not always received and considered by the responding organizations. With the help of these civilians, critical information such as victim location, infrastructure damage, and risk condition could be better know before any response actions are taken. To efficiently collect information and utilize the converging resources, this paper proposes a geospatial information repository for initial condition reporting and update to guide search and rescue operations and deployment of equipment with safety considerations for the rescuers in large scale disaster response scenarios.
Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems of nuclear power plants (NPPs) have been continuously digitalized. These systems have a critical role in the operation of nuclear facilities by functioning as the brain of NPPs. In recent years, as cyber security threats to NPP systems have increased, regulatory and policy-related organizations around the world, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control (KINAC), have emphasized the importance of nuclear cyber security by publishing cyber security guidelines and recommending cyber security requirements for NPP facilities. As described in NRC Regulatory Guide (Reg) 5.71 and KINAC RS015, challenge response authentication should be applied to the critical digital I&C system of NPPs to satisfy the cyber security requirements. There have been no cases in which the most robust response authentication technology like challenge response has been developed and applied to nuclear I&C systems. This paper presents a challenge response authentication mechanism for a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system used as a control system in the safety system of the Advanced Power Reactor (APR) 1400 NPP.
