The performance of US economy in the last cecade is considered to be driven by the IT investment. However, the causal relationship has not been conclsive between IT investment and economic performance, which makes a decision in IT investment tricky. IT as a growth strategy is critical to the developing countries which experienced resource constraint. In case IT acts as a driving force in the new technology paradigm, the less investment in IT will continue to which the growth gap between countries. When IT dose not make a significant contribution to growth, heavy investment in IT means misallocations of resources. Therfore a decision on IT investment has critical implication in terms of growth strategy. Based on a growth accounting nethod, the current study is to analyse the contribution of IT

The accurate wind speed information at the hub height of a wind turbine is very essential to the exact estimation of the wind turbine power performance testing. Several methods on the site calibration, which is a technique to estimate the wind speed at the wind turbine's hub height based on the measured wind data using a reference meteorological mast, are introduced. A site calibration result and the wind resource assessment for the TaeKwanRyung test site are presented using three-month wind data from a reference meteorological mast and the other mast temporarily installed at the site of wind turbine. Besides, an analysis on the uncertainty allocation for the wind speed correction using site calibration is performed.

본 논문에서는 패킷 데이터 서비스를 지원하는 DS/CDMA 시스템에서 역방향 링크의 대기 패킷 버스트들이 겪는 평균 전송 시간을 최소화하기 위한 여러 가지 패킷 스캐줄링 방식을 비교 분석하였다. 모든 활성화된 데이터 사용자들이 동시에 전송을 하는 경우의 최적의 스케줄링 방식에 대하여 논하고 기존의 여러 가지 다른 전송률 스케줄링 방식들과의 수학적인 비교 분석을 통하여 평균 전송 지연을 고려한 전송률 스케줄링 방식의 효율적인 지표를 제시하였다.

The procedure and implementation of an simulation based production planning and scheduling system. Production planning and scheduling is important problem in manufacturing field. It is so important for delivery quality as well as productivity, too. In this paper, heuristic production planning and scheduling module for improving delivery quality and productivity will be discussed. Beginning with total demand and initial work in process, the algorithms for production scheduling and planning can efficiently generate a feasible production resources and capacity schedule results in high resource utilization, minimum number of the late orders and reduced labor variability. The algorithm is executed to achieve the best on time delivery performance. The developed heuristic algorithms in the module will be expected to provide the better delivery performance and productivity.

Recently, in addition to greening of roof and artificial soil, Rootproofing to prevent damage to the waterproof layer and structures by roots is recognized as an important task. Therefore, various related products and construction methods have been developed and applied in the field. However, in the case of synthetic polymer-based sheets most commonly used in domestic construction sites, Most are produced using 100% new materials that are not suitable for green trends such as resource conservation and environmental protection. Therefore, in this study, we developed TPO sheet using recycled material, which is a technology that can secure eco-friendliness by utilizing recycled resources. As a result of the evaluation of tensile performance of the TPO sheet according to the recycled material content, The tensile strength of the specimens with the recycled content of 50 ~ 70% was the highest, The elongation rate of the specimen with the recycled content of 30 ~ 40% was the best.

In this paper, we analysis the performance of position estimation when adopting Dynamic TDMA(DTDMA) in JTIDS RelNav. JTIDS RelNav is widely understood as a new navigation solution possibly capable to support or take cover of the role of conventional systems including INS or GPS no matter if they are working well or not. By maximizing the efficiency of radio resource management in MAC(Medium Access Control) layer we enhance the system performance without any replacement of hardware.

SQLite는 리소스 제약이 큰 소형 기기에 적합한 데이터베이스 엔진이며 리눅스 기반 모바일 기기에 많이 사용되고 있다. SQLite는 오픈소스 프로그램이며 가볍고 속도가 빠른 장점을 지닌다. 이 논문에서는 리눅스 기반 환경에서 SQLite 데이터베이스의 검색 성능을 테스트하여 장단점을 분석하고자 한다. 분석은 같은 환경에서 실행되는 다른 데이터베이스와 비교하여 진행한다.

패킷 교환용 데이터 통신 프로토콜의 핵심인 CCITT X.25 및 X.75는 PSPDN 환경하에서 매우 유효하게 잘 적용되어 왔다. '80년대부터 ISDN이 도래하면서 디지털 교환기에도 이러한 프로토콜을 적용하여 패킷 교환을 수행하는 것이 세계적 추세이다. 본 논고에서는 ISDN용 교환기인 TDX-10 패킷 교환기능 개발시 독창적으로 설계된 리소스 관리기법을 제시하였으며, 아울러 이 기법중 메모리 관리방식과 흐름제어 방법에 근거하여 패킷 처리기의 성능을 시뮬레이션한 결과 TDX-10 패킷처리기의 핵심이 되는 처리량을 분석하였다.

This study examines the personal characteristics, organizational attitudes, technical performances, and reward preferences of R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree in large private companies in Korea. Based on survey data from 887 professionals in nine different R&D organizations, the following results are found; 1) R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree exhibit higher autonomy preference, need for achievement, self-efficacy, technical career orientation, and performance proficiency than other R&D professionals; 2) As their organizational tenure increases, performance proficiency and transfer career orientation increases but their socialized level of organizational goals and values does not change; 3) They produce more technical publications and exhibit more positive organizational attitude than other R&D professionals; 4) They are more likely to prefer job content, professional, and job security rewards. These empirical findings suggest several theoretical and practical implications for the management of R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree in the large Korean firms.
