  • This paper proposes the web robot based on Multi-Agent which the mutual dependency should be minimized each other with dividing the function each to collect Webpage. In result it is written to make a foundation for producing the effective statistics to analyze the domestic webpages and text, multimedia file composition ratio through performance analysis of the implemented system. It is easy that Web robot of the sequential processing method to collect Webpage on the same resource environment produces the limit of collecting performance. So to speak Webpages have "Dead-links" URL which is produced by the temporary host down and instability of network resource. If there are much "Dead-links" URL in the webpages, it takes a lot of time for web robot to collect HTML. The propose of this paper to be proposed, makes the maximum improvement to extract the webpages to process "Dead-links" URL on the Inactive URL scanner Agent.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation of Silybum marianum seed (SMS) extract on the growth performance, nutrient digestibility, fecal noxious gas emission, and hematology parameters in weaned piglets. A total of 120, 21-day-old weaned piglets ([Yorkshire × Landrace] × Duroc) were randomly assigned to 3 groups based on the average initial body weight (6.46 ± 0.45 kg). There were 8 replicate pens per treatment and 5 pigs (mixed sex) per pen. The experimental period was 42 days. Dietary groups included a basal diet, and a basal diet supplemented with 0.05% or 0.10% SMS extract. Feeding weaned piglets with SMS extract containing diet significantly increased average daily gain and average daily feed intake. Additionally, the supplementation of SMS extract had no significant effects on nutrient digestibility, serum hematology, and fecal noxious gas emission parameters. We considered that the supplementation of SMS extract had positive effects on the voluntary feed intake in weaned piglets, thus improving growth performance.

  • Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) have facilitated substantial improvement in single-image super-resolution (SR) by enabling the generation of photo-realistic images. However, the high memory requirements of GAN-based SRs (mainly generators) lead to reduced performance and increased energy consumption, making it difficult to implement them onto resource-constricted devices. In this study, we propose an efficient and compressed architecture for the SR-GAN (generator) model using the model compression technique Knowledge Distillation. Our approach involves the transmission of knowledge from a heavy network to a lightweight one, which reduces the storage requirement of the model by 58% with also an increase in their performance. Experimental results on various benchmarks indicate that our proposed compressed model enhances performance with an increase in PSNR, SSIM, and image quality respectively for x4 super-resolution tasks.

  • This paper develops a framework for efficient resource management within the grid service environment. Resource management is the core element of the grid service; therefore, GridRMF(Grid Resource Management Framework) is modeled and developed in order to respond to such variable characteristics of resources as accordingly as possible. GridRMF uses the participation level of grid resource as a basis of its hierarchical management. This hierarchical management divides managing domains into two parts: VMS(Virtual Organization Management System) for virtual organization management and RMS(Resource Management System) for metadata management. VMS mediates resources according to optimal virtual organization selection mechanism, and responds to malfunctions of the virtual organization by LRM(Local Resource Manager) automatic recovery mechanism. RMS, on the other hand, responds to load balance and fault by applying resource status monitoring information into adaptive performance-based task allocation algorithm.

  • For D2D communications underlaying cellular networks, it is essential to consider the mutual interference between the existing cellular communications and D2D communications as well as the spectral efficiency, as they need to share the same frequency. Accordingly, a resource allocation scheme should be designed in such a way that minimizes the mutual interference and maximizes the spectrum utilization efficiency at the same time. In this paper, we propose a resource allocation scheme based on cooperation of the base station and D2D terminals. Specifically, a D2D terminal senses the cellular spectrum to recognize the interference condition, chooses the best cellular resource, and reports the information to the base station. The base station allocates D2D resource such that the corresponding D2D link and cellular link share the same resource. The performance of the proposed resource allocation scheme is ated through compu under 3GPP LTE-Advanced scenarios.

  • The study of Cloud based system is emerging to become the core technology in IT field due to the tremendous growth of Cloud Computing. Researches to deliver applications to Thin-Client based mobile virtual machine and Desktop as a Service(DaaS) using Cloud Computing are conducted actively. In this paper, we propose a Cloud system to run the mobile application in the mobile Thin-Client device and resource allocation mechanism Dynamic Resource Allocation Manager for Mobile Application(DRAMMA). Thus, through performance check, we show DRAMMA has improved the utilization of Cloud system, less migration of virtual machines and decreased the error rate of resource allocation. Also our proposed system delivers service more efficiently than the previous resource allocation algorithm.

  • IT outsourcing (ITO) is an integration of two firms-external vendor(s) and a client firm-IT resources by contract. According to resource-based view(RBV), three different resources-ITO vendor's resource, client firm's resource, and the relationship resource between two firms- may have an impact on ITO performance. However, there have been few previous studies considering all three IT resources simultaneously. There have been also few empirical studies in ITO context, which test Bharadwaj (2000)'s findings: 1) IT resources can be divided into tangible IT asset and intangible IT capability, and 2) only IT capability has an impact on the IT performance. Therefore we examined whether, in ITO context, all three different resources have a significant impact on ITO performance. Adopting the findings of previous IT studies, we also divided IT resource into IT asset and IT capability. To achieve this research objective, we analyzed 62 ITO cases of 45 companies being listed in Korean top 100 companies for recent 3 years. Also, we analyzed the data with the Partial Least Squares method. The results of this research lead to the following conclusions: First, only when partnership is high, ITO vendors' resource can have an influence on ITO performance. Second, only client firm's IT capability, not IT asset, is directly related to the ITO success. Third, a firm's IT capability can increase the partnership. Therefore, we concluded that 1) RBV is also an useful theory in ITO context, 2) Bharadwaj(2000)'s suggestion is valid in ITO context as well, and 3) the relationship resource is also important in ITO.

  • A resource management scheme for ad hoc wireless local area networks (AWLAN's) is presented. This scheme combines distributed resource management scheme and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-code division multiple access(OFDM-CDMA) technique to support multimedia services with QoS guarantees. The performance evaluation has done in terms of blocking rates and QoS loss probability.

  • Forming Community is important to manage and provide the service in Ubiquitous Environments including embedded tiny computers. Community Computing is that members constitute the community and cooperate. A mutual exclusion problem occurs when many processors try to use one resource and race condition happens. In the expanded concept, a group mutual exclusion problem is that processors in the same group can share the resource but processors in different groups cannot share. As mutual exclusion problems might be in community computing environments, we propose algorithm which improves the execution speed using RMS (resource management service). In this paper describes proposed algorithm and proves its performance by experiments, comparing proposed algorithm with previous method using quorum-based algorithm.

  • In this paper, we address a task allocation problem for a robot team that performs a search and attack mission. The robots are limited in sensing and communication capabilities, and carry different types of resources that are used to attack a target. The environment is uncertain and dynamic where no prior information about targets is given and dynamic events unpredictably happen. The goal of robot team is to collect total utilities as much as possible by destroying targets in a mission horizon. To solve the problem, we propose a distributed task allocation framework incorporated with effective resource management based on resource welfare. The framework we propose enables the robot team to retain more robots available by balancing resources among robots, and respond smoothly to dynamic events, which results in system performance improvement.
