  • A new dc/ac soft switched PWM convert having a dc-link commutation circuit is proposed. The commutation circuit implemented by utilizing a series resonant circuit while preparing for zero voltage switching of primary inverter. The converter provides both variable pulse width and position which is fundamentally different than converters. In this paper, the operating principles, design and control considerations analysis of a such a soft switched converter is analyzed.

  • An electronic ballast with automatic identification between HPS and MH lamps is proposed in this paper. The behavior of the lamp impedance is studied at both cold-starting and warm-starting. Lamp identification is carried out by taking into account the rate of impedance changing at constant current driving mode just after ignition. The ballast consists of 8-bit microcontroller and LCC resonant inverter.

  • 본 연구에서는 고주파 유도가열을 위한 전원장치에 사용되는 인버터 시스템의 대용량, 고조파화를 실현하기 위한 고주파화 기술을 제안하였다. 부한 공진 인버터는 H형 전-브리지(Full-Bridge)로 구성하고 각 암당 IBGT를 2병렬로 조합하여 구성하고 부하는 직병열 공진회로로 구성한다. 스위칭 동작은 8개의 IGBT중 각 ARM당 2개씩 순차 제어하여 고속 대용량의 고주파 전력을 출력시킨다. 또한 스위칭은 스위치 턴온·오프시에 스위칭 손실을 줄이기 위해 ZVS(Zero-Voltage Switching) 기법을 도입한다. 제어는 고정주파수 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 제어를 하여 전력변환 효율을 극대화한다.

  • This paper presents contactless power transfer system for an electric railway system which makes use of electromagnetic induction among the coils. A full bridge type series resonant inverter is used as a power conversion system. and MC14046 PLL of Motorola is used as a control device. Finally, presented system is verified by simulation.

  • This paper has described about principle and form of proposed circuit made use of soft switching technology ZVS(Zero-Voltage-Switching) to reduce turn on and off loss at switching. also, the analysis of the proposed circuit has described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and parameters. In addition, this paper proves the propriety of theoretical analysis in terms of the experiments.

  • In this paper the driving characteristic for a traveling-wave type ultrasonic motor is described. For driving of ultrasonic motor, a two-phase resonant inverter and Digital IC was made. The driving circuit simulation results are compared with measured frequencis and amplitudes.

  • The electronic ballast for MHD lamp was studied for automotive headlight application. Its basic principle is the Current Sourcing Push-Pull Resonant Inverter with DC I2Volt input Voltage. By changing the switching frequency according to the lamp state, the automotive requirement of very fast warm-up and the zero voltage switching condition were shown by the simulation of the ballast circuit.

  • 본 논문에서는 고주파 공진형 인버터 접속의 가열 코일로부터 비접촉 상태로 전자유도 와전류를 구조물에 가하여 발열하는 공진형 인버터를 이용한 유도가열 방식의 최적설계를 제안하였다. 설계한 시스템 인버터는 스위칭주파수 20[kHz] 대역에서 동작하는 하프-브리지 고주파 직렬 부하 공진형이며 LC공진 설계 시 부하 자체를 L로 설정하여 효율을 최대화 하였다. 또한 유도가열용 인버터에 적용 가능한 스너버회로의 특성분석을 통해 본 시스템의 최적화에 관한 연구를 하였다.
