The paper presents a new method for analyzing oscillation regions of transistor oscillators. In transistor feedback oscillators oscillation region appears as a circle in feedback impedance complex plane. When the resistive component of feedback impedance is fixed and the reactive component of feedback impedance is varied or vice versa, the locus of maximum negative output conductance becomes hyperbola. In transistor crystal oscillators oscillation region is determined by two circles which make real part and imaginary part of input impedance zero in load impedance complex plane. When the resistive compoment of load impedance is fixed and the reactive colnponent of load impedance is varied or vice versa, the loci of maximum or minimum resistive component of input impedance become straight lines.

A low-noise amplifier(LNA) using series RLC matching network and resistive feedback at 8 GHz is presented. Inductive degeneration is used for the input matching with which the proposed LNA shows quite a wide bandwidth in terms of $S_{21}$. An equivalent circuit model is deduced for input matching by conversion from parallel circuit to series resonant circuit. By exploiting the resistive feedback and series RLC input matching, fully integrated LNA achieves maximum $S_{21}$ of 8.5 dB(peak to -3 dB bandwidth is about 3.5 GHz) noise figure of 5.9 dB, and IIP3 of 1.6 dBm while consuming 7 mA from 1.2 V supply.

This paper presents the fabrication of the LNA which is operating at 2.13∼2.16 GHz for IMT-2000 lot-end receiver using series feedback and resistive decoupling circuit. Series feedback added to the source lead of a transistor keep the low noise characteristics and drop the input reflection coefficient of amplifier simultaneously. Also, it increases the stability of the LNA. Resistive decoupling circuit is suitable for input stage matching because a signal at low frequency is dissipated by a resistor in the matching network The amplifier consist of GaAs FET ATF-10136 for low noise stage and VNA-25 which is internally matched MMIC for high gain stage. The amplifier is fabricated with both the RF circuits and self bias circuit on the Teflon substrate with 3.5 permittivity. The measured results of the LNA which is fabricated using above design technique are presented more than 30 dB in gain P$\_$ldB/ 17 dB and less than 0.7 dB in noise figure, 1.5 in input$.$output SWR(Standing Wave Ratio).
In this paper, the theory of pulse frequency modulated DC/DC power converter to obtain constant output voltage for all input voltage changes is discussed. The switch controller consisting of integrator and comparator determines the ON time of power switch-Thyristor-by the error between the load voltage and a load reference voltage. Resulting voltage and current waveforms have been studied theoretically in detail and verified experimentally for a resistive and inductive load condition. State equations for voltages and currents using binary logic variables are computed by digital computer. Comparison of these withe oscillograms obtained from an experimental model shows very close agreement.

This Paper presents a resistive wideband fully differential low-noise amplifier (LNA) designed using a noise-cancellation technique for TV tuner applications. The front-end of the LNA employs a cascode common-gate (CG) configuration, and cross-coupled local feedback is employed between the CG and common-source (CS) stages. The moderate gain at the source of the cascode transistor in the CS stage is utilized to boost the transconductance of the cascode CG stage. This produces higher gain and lower noise figure (NF) than a conventional LNA with inductor. The NF can be further optimized by adjusting the local open-loop gain, thereby distributing the power consumption among the transistors and resistors. Finally, an optimized DC gain is obtained by designing the output resistive network. The proposed LNA, designed in SK Hynix 180 nm CMOS, exhibits improved linearity with a voltage gain of 10.7 dB, and minimum NF of 1.6-1.9 dB over a signal bandwidth of 40 MHz to 1 GHz.

This paper presents a new miniature haptic display to convey ample haptic information to a user of a handheld interface. There are buttons on interfaces or general electronic devices, but existing buttons provide haptic feedback of only one passive pattern to a user. Because humans perceive tactile and kinesthetic information simultaneously when they handle objects the proposed actuator provides both sensations at once. It is able to generate various levels of kinesthetic sensations when pressing a button under diverse situations. Also, vibrotactile feedback can be delivered for exciting haptic effects with numerous patterns. Its performance was evaluated in accordance with the resistive force by changing the intensity of the input current. Experiments show that the proposed actuator has the ability to provide numerous haptic sensations for more realistic and complex haptic experiences.
The temperature profile control issue in the resistive welder for the electronic parts is discussed. The average current of the welder tip depends on the phase(on-time) of the AC power and the tip temperature maintains or increases/decreases depending on the integral of the current square and heat loss, The basic PID control algorithm with thermo-couple feedback is difficult to track the temperature profile for various parts and optimal gain changes much. So constant gain PID algorithm is not enough to cover various electronic parts welding and a Fuzzy-PID automatic gain tuning algorithm is devised and added to conventional PID algorithm and this hybrid control architecture is implemented and the experimental results are shown.

We consider the robust trajectory tracking control problem for a skid steering mobile robots. A dynamic model is derived accounting for the effects of wheel skidding. The control design utilizes the dynamic feedback linearization techniques, so as to obtain a predictable behavior for the instantaneous center of rotation thus preventing excessive skidding. The additive controller using the sliding mode type is then robustified against the unmodelled dynamics and parameter uncertainty. Simulation results show the good performances under excessively uncorrected estimations of the longitudinal forces and the lateral resistive forces caused by the skidding of the wheels in tracking trajectories.

This paper presents a S/C/X-band LNA MMIC with resistive feedback structure in 0.25 um GaN HEMT process. The GaN devices have advantages as a high output power device having high breakdown voltage, energy band gap and stability at high temperature. Since the receiver using the GaN device with high linearity can be implemented without a limiter, the noise figure of the receiver can be improved and the size of receiver module can be reduced. The proposed GaN LNA MMIC based on 0.25 um GaN HEMT device is achieved the gain of > 15 dB, the noise figure of < 3 dB, the input return loss of > 13 dB, and the output return loss of > 8 dB in the S/C/X-band. The current consumption of GaN LNA MMIC is 70 mA with the drain voltage 20 V and the gate voltage -3 V.
