  • This paper improves the calculating method about the inductance with the high order frequency coreloss. It is different in which the analyzed inductance for calculating IPMSM and the measured thing for experiment. Due to this phenomenon, the expected input voltage differs from the inquired input voltage for operating the motor. This results from the coreloss margin which have both the 1st order and high order frequency value. For reducing the inductance error, after calculating the equivalence coreloss resistance with having the 1st order frequency Back_EMF and coreloss, designing the inductance with the high order frequency which occurred by the coreloss of high order frequency, and comparing the renovated inductance analysis value with the measured thing.

  • Generally, internal parameters of the motors and generators can be divided to the resistance and inductance components. They can become a cause of the changing internal parameters because they have sensitive characteristics due to external conditions. The changed parameters can generate the outputs which include error values from the speed and current controllers. Also, it can bring the temperature increase and mechanical damage to the system. Therefore, internal parameters of the motors and generators need to obtain their values according to the external conditions because it can prevent the mechanical damage caused by the changed parameters. In this paper, the off-line parameter identification method is verified using the Goertzel algorithm. The motor used in the simulation and experiments is an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), and the proposed algorithm is verified by the simulation and experimental results.

  • Fatigue damage is the phenomena which is accumulated gradually with loading cycle in material. It is represented by fatigue crack growth rate da/dN and fatigue life ratio $N/N_{f}$. Fracture mechanical parameters estimating large crack growth behavior can calculate quantitative amount of fatigue crack growth resistance in engineering material. But fatigue damage has influence on various load, material and environment. Therefore, In this study, we propose that artificial intelligent fatigue damage model can predicts fatigue crack growth rate da/dN and fatigue life ratio $N/N_{f}$ simultaneously using fracture mechanical and nondestructive parameters.

  • When we use the strain gauge in the high temperature water, lowering of insulation resistance between test material and gauge is the matter. The lowering makes the measurement unstable and is the primary factor of an error. This study devises the waterproofing method in empirically that has the best insulating property in the hot water($100^{\circ}C$), In this way, we can reach the conclusion that on the condition of a few hours we can measure precisely in the high temperature like normal temperature.

Lyapunov Based Adaptive-Robust Control of the Non-Minimum phase DC-DC Converters Using Input-Output Linearization

  • In this research, a combined adaptive-robust current controller is developed for non-minimum-phase DC-DC converters in a wide range of operations. In the proposed nonlinear controller, load resistance, input voltage and zero interval of the inductor current are estimated using developed adaptation rules and knowing the operating mode of the converter for the closed-loop control is not required; hence, a single controller can be employed for a wide load and line changes in discontinuous and continuous conduction operations. Using the TMS320F2810 digital signal processor, the experimental response of the proposed controller is presented in different operating points of the buck/boost converter. During transition between different modes of the converter, the developed controller has a better dynamic response compared with previously reported adaptive nonlinear approach. Moreover, output voltage steady-state error is zero in different conditions.

  • Conventionally, ZVS FB DC/DC converter was controlled by monolithic IC UC3879, which includes the functions of oscillator, error amplifier and phase-shift circuit. Also, microprocessor and DSP have been widely used for the remote control and for the immediate waveform control in ZVS FB DC/DC converter. However the conventional microprocessor controller is complex and difficult to control because the controller consists of analog and digital parts. In the case of the control of FB DC/DC converter, the output is required of driving a direct signal to the switch drive circuits by the digital controller. So, this paper presents the method and realization of designing the digital-to-phase shift PWM circuit controlled by DSP (TMX320C32) in a 2,500A, 40㎾ WS FB DC/DC converter.

  • DS대역확산 통신 수신기의 성능은 디지털 백색화 여파기를 사용하여 개선시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 출력의 hard-limiter에서 검출한 신호를 입력으로 궤환시켜 간섭과 잡음성분만을 백색화하는 디지털 궤환 백색화 여파기를 제안하고 여파기의 계수계산 방법에 관하여 기술하였다. SNR과 BER에 관한 식을 유도하였으며 종래의 디지털 백색화 여파기와 비교하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과 오율특성은 종래의 방식에 비해 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper deals with an improved fault location algorithm with compensation ground capacitance through distributed parameter for a long parallel T/L. For the purpose of fault locating algorithm non-influenced by source impedance and fault resistance, the loop method was used in the system modeling analysis. This algorithm uses a positive and negative sequence of the fault current for high accuracy of fault locating calculation. Power system model of 160km and 300km long parallel T/L was simulated using EMTP software. To evaluate of the proposed algorithm, we used the several different cases 64 sampled data per cycle. The test results show that the proposed algorithm was minimized the error factor and speed of fault location estimation.

  • In this paper a new numerical algorithm for fault distance calculation and arcing fault recognition based on one terminal data and derived in lime domain is presented. The algorithm is derived for the case of most frequent single-phase line to ground fault. The faulted phase voltage at the fault place is modeled as a serial connection of fault resistance and arc voltage. The fault distance and arc voltage amplitude are estimated using Least Error Squares Technique. The algorithm can be applied for distance protection, intelligent autoreclosure and for fault location. The results of algorithm tested through computer simulation are given.

운전조건에 따른 히트파이프를 이용한 열교환기의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Heat Exchanger using Heat Pipe for various Working Condition)

  • The purpose of this research is to study the characteristics of heat exchanger using heat pipe under various working conditions by a finite element analysis and experiment. The results are as follows. 1) In this study, h = $Max^B$ is used for the convective heat transfer coefficient and A = 2.761 and B = 0.701 $Mmax^{(-0.0626)}$ were obtained as the results of experiment. 2) For several different working conditions, (Q/Qb) is predicted by varying the values of L/Lt and Re/Rc. The maximum value of (Q/Qb) is achieved when Re/Rc = 1 and Le/Lc = 0.5. 3) The comparison between calculated value and experimental data showed agreement within 5% error. Therefore the method may be used to predict the performance of heat exchanger using heat pipe for similar geometric conditions. 4) For Re/Re/Rc of 0.2-0.3, the minimum thermal resistance exists when Le/Lt is 0.4-0.65.
