Medical tourism is recognized as a high value-added industry due to its longer stay and more useful costs than general tourism, and is growing rapidly around the world, especially in Asia. In addition, medical tourism is a new form of tourism that combines medical services with tourism activities such as recreation, leisure, and cultural activities, nowadays, medical tourism is emphasizing the combination of medical and tourism. Although Korea medical system and clinic have excellent medical equipment and infrastructure, it is not consistent with policy support and legislation. That have make it difficult for consumers to choose clinics for medical tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to provide customized information to the clinics that consumers want to match each other's services. In particular, it is aimed at consumers with simple procedures and cosmetic purposes, especially at small hospitals. In this paper, we propose a customized service platform that matches users seeking clinics and also medical tourism. Also we can easy to reservation clinic for medical tour.
In a dynamic load distribution policies, each node gathers the current system sates information before making a decision on load balancing. Load balancing policies based on this strategy can suffer from processor thrashing. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm which attempts to decrease the frequency of the processor thrashing, the algorithm is based on the integration of three components. The first, the algorithm of which determine the size of jobs be transferred. The second, negotiation protocol with obtains a mutual agreement between a sender and a receiver on the transferring job size. And the third, a symmetrically-initiated location policy. The algorithm proposed in this paper used Siman IV as simulation tool to prove the improvement of performance. I analyzed the result of simulation, and compared with related works. The mean response time shows that there are no difference with existing policy, but appear a outstanding improvement in high load. The thrashing coefficient that shows the average response time, CPU overhead and the thrashing ratio at both the receiving and sending node has been used in the analysis. A significant improvement in the average response time and the CPU overhead ratio was detected using our algorithm when an overhead occurred in the system over other algorithm. The thrashing coefficient differed in the sending node and the receiving node of the system. Using our algorithm, the thrashing coefficient at the sending node showed more improvement when there was an overhead in the system, proving to be more useful. Therefore, it can be concluded that the thrashing ratio can be reduce by properly setting the maximum and minimum value of the system’s threshold queue.

Background: The purpose of this study is to assume appropriate outpatient consultation time for each clinical department on the basis of measured outpatient consultation time and satisfaction of outpatient. Methods: We surveyed the feeling and satisfactory outpatient consultation time, satisfaction, revisiting intention and recommendation to others to 1,105 patients of single general hospital in Gyeonggi-do and measured their real outpatient consultation time from October 28 to November 27 in 2013. On the basis of satisfaction, we estimated appropriate outpatient consultation time through area under the receiver operating characteristic curve in logistic regression model. Results: Feeling outpatient consultation time was 5.1 minutess, satisfactory outpatient consultation time which was suggested by patient was 6.3 minutes, and real outpatient consultation time was 4.2 minutes. Department which had longest real outpatient consultation time was infection (7 minutes) and department which had longest satisfactory outpatient consultation time was neurology (9.4 minutes). From the univariate and the multiple linear regression analysis, real outpatient consultation time was longer in pulmonology patient, new patient and afternoon patient, satisfactory outpatient consultation time was longer in infection, neurology, neuropsychiatry, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation patient. Appropriate real outpatient consultation time was suggested as 5.6 minutes which differentiated high and low satisfied patient group. However, we could not assume appropriate outpatient consultation time for each clinical department because the number of patient who had bad satisfaction was too low. Conclusion: To improve patient's satisfaction, we hope outpatient reservation system is operated as each patient's outpatient consultation time is at least 5.6 minutes.

In the study, we show the annual average increasing rate of death bodies in the capital area was 2.1% while the annual average increasing rate of cremated bodies was 4.5%. As the annual average increasing rate of cremated bodies was about 2.1 times higher than the annual average increasing rate of death bodies, the increase rate of cremated bodies contrast to the increase rate of death bodies was relatively high. Also, the cremation rate of the capital area was increased by 9.5% from 80.3% in 2011 to 89.8% in 2017 while the increase rate of cremated bodies was 27.2%(N=21,694 people) from 79,866 people in 2011 to 101,560 people in 2017. Thus, the increase rate of cremated bodies contrast to the increase of cremation rate of the capital area was relatively very high. On the basis of 2017, the utilization rate of public cremation facilities in by capital area was 94.5% in Incheon Metropolitan City, 91.1% in Seoul Metropolitan City, and 20.9% in Gyeonggi-do, which showed huge differences in the utilization rate of public cremation facilities in the jurisdiction area of by capital area. Focusing on the actual state shown in the results of this study above, it would be necessary for Seoul Metropolitan City to carry forward a supply & demand policy of cremation facilities through the extension of cremation furnaces, for Gyeonggi-do to carry forward a policy to build the public cremation facilities focusing on the basic local government in the jurisdiction area, and for Incheon Metropolitan City to enforce the measures for the joint use of cremation facilities with the basic local government in the adjacent Gyeonggi-do jurisdiction area in order to improve the efficiency of the operation of cremation facilities.
A callable product is one of service derivatives using options to generate demand and reduce risk. This paper compares two booking admission controls for callable products, the online and the batch admission controls. To this end, the paper computes the optimal booking policy by using the backward dynamic programming and the stochastic optimization method. Intuitively, the provider should outperform under the batch control by utilizing demand information. The contribution of the paper is to show that the two controls are equivalent in terms of the booking strategy and the expected profit, which enables the provider to keep its current control method. The paper develops the closed-form solutions for the three fare classes. The future work is to extend the result to the model with complicated fare structures.
I develop a matching model in which risk-averse workers face borrowing constraints and make a labor force participation decision as well as a job search decision. A sharp distinction between unemployment and out of the labor force is made: those who look for work for a certain period but find no job are classified as the unemployed and those who do not look for work are classified as those out of the labor force. In the model, the job search decision consists of two steps. First, each individual who is not working obtains information about employment opportunities. Second, each individual who decides to search has to take costly actions to find a job. Since individuals differ with respect to asset holdings, they have different reservation job-finding probabilities at which an individual is indifferent between searching and not searching. Individuals, who have large asset holdings and thereby are less likely to participate in the labor market, have high reservation job-finding probability, and they are less likely to search if they have less quality of information. In other words, if individuals with large asset holdings search for job, they must have very high quality of information and face very high actual job-finding probability. On the other hand, individuals with small asset holdings have low reservation job-finding probability and they are likely to search for less quality of information. They face very low actual job-finding probability and seem to remain unemployed for a long time. Therefore, differences in the quality of information explain heterogeneous job search decisions among individuals as well as higher job finding probability for those who reenter the labor market than for those who remain in the labor force. The effect of the extended maximum duration of unemployment insurance benefits on the aggregate labor market and the labor market flows is investigated. The benchmark benefit duration is set to three months. As maximum benefit duration is extended up to six months, the employment-population ratio decreases while the unemployment rate increases because individuals who are eligible for benefits have strong incentives to remain unemployed and decide to search even if they obtain less quality of information, which leads to low job-finding probability and then high unemployment rate. Then, the vacancy-unemployment ratio decreases and, in turn, the job-finding probability for both the unemployed and those out of the labor force decrease. Finally, the outflow from nonparticipation decreases with benefit duration because the equilibrium job-finding probability decreases. As the job-finding probability decreases, those who are out of the labor force are less likely to search for the same quality of information. I also consider the matching model with two states of employment and unemployment. Compared to the results of the two-state model, the simulated effects of changes in benefit duration on the aggregate labor market and the labor market flows are quite large and significant.
Recently, wireless networks have been pursuing multimedia data service as voice, data, image, video and various form of data according to development of information communication technology. It guarantees cell delivery delay of real time data in efficient real time multimedia data transfer. Also, it minimizes cell loss rate of non-real time multimedia data. In the wireless ATM, there are based on Asynchronous Transfer Mode(ATM). It implies that there are various service with difficult transmission rates and qualities in the wireless communication network. As a result, it is important to find out the ways to guarantee the Quality of Service(QoS) for each kind of traffic in wireless network. In this thesis, we propose an improved TCRM scheduling algorithms for transmission real-time multimedia data service in wireless ATM Networks. We appear real time multimedia scheduling policy that apply each different method to uplink and downlik to wireless ATM network. It can guarantee QoS requirements for each real time data and non-real time data. It also deals the fairness problem for sharing the scarce wireless resources. We solve fault of TCRM as inefficient problem of non-real data by using arbitrary transmission speed and RB(Reservation Buffer) through VC(Virtual Control) and BS(Base Station).
This study aimed to compare the systems of ticketing application programs of three major movie theaters, CGV, Megabox, Lotte Cinema, with each other and evaluate the usability, and find problems to figure out user experiences for more convenient mobile ticketing. Experimental subjects with experiences of using apps of the movie theaters were recruited; First, as a primary task, they reserved movie tickets with each of the movie theater apps; Second, they had in-depth interviews with questions based on the model of Creating Pleasurable Interfaces by Stephen Anderson. As a result, users preferred the composition with information in order in overall, in which ticketing process went smoothly. In particular, users were more satisfied with convenient payment applications. Therefore, as an improving way, it is required to design an interface for users to recognize at a glance and a payment system within an app, not to design separate payment system out of the app. I hope this study will help actively conduct researches to maximize the usability in a way to reserve movie tickets through smartphone apps.
We have focused on the roof construction method of Urban Hanok in Bukchon, Seoul. The Urban Hanok, urban traditional housing type, had been evolved In modern context from 1930's to 1960's. We have confused Urban Hanok with traditional Hanok, because they have similar figures. But Urban Hanok have the characteristics as a result of the roof construction method. The purpose of this paper is to define Urban Hanok more concretely, thus we payed attention to the roof structure, specially to the comer that each roof structure meets. So we got some characteristics of the roof construction method of Urban Hanok in Bukchon. First, the roof construction methods of the roof are transformed at the corner parts, where three purlin structure and five purlin structure meet. The collision of the different roof structure has made a lot of types. Second, the roof slope of Urban Hanok is more gentle than traditional Hanok, that is caused by ornamental double eaves and awnings. Finally these characteristics are results of the compact lot size in urban neighborhood. The construction method is a inclusive word that contain materials, composition, ornament and social common sense. With the understanding on the roof construction method of Urban Hanok, we can define the identity and the value of Urban Hanok, And we can suggest the policy and the design guidelines for the reservation and rehabilitation for Urban Hanok of Bukchon, Seoul.
The purpose of this study is to provide a quantitative evaluation index of object-oriented software development productivity for EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1. A lightweight container architecture is a newly-developed architecture in order to solve demerits that N-Tiers enterprise architecture has and to support merits therein. A lightweight container architecture is not as heavy as EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans) architecture is, whereas it provides all the functionality of the EJB container. However, there have been insufficient studies on a performance evaluation of EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1 on an identical platform. Since a quantitative analysis has been performed only with respect to a partial LoC(Line of Code) analysis, there have been insufficient objective evaluation indeces and guidelines for a new specification released. Accordingly, there has been limited evaluation of software development productivity and on new innovations in a project. Therefore, this study designed and implemented a movie reservation system in EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1, which was based on the same development platform environment. This study then intends to provide evaluation guidelines for an objective software development productivity cl LoC(Lineand standardization thereof by development platform environment.
