The research was designed to identify the overall environment that the Korean pharmacists face in providing counselling to their patients. A nation-wide survey was conducted for both community pharmacists and hospital pharmacists. The results were used to highlight the environmental factors needed for better patient counselling. School curriculums in pharmacy school in Korea and the US were compared to identify future tasks in building more effective professional pharmacy education in Korea. Regulations in the US and Japan were also researched for this purpose. (omitted)

We developed a novel growth method of CNTs on metal substrate for device applications, deposited by a triode direct current plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (dc-PECVD). With resist-assisted patterning (RAP) method, we had grown CNTs on metal substrate, which were strongly bonded with metal substrate.

The fusion research subjects of Oriental medicine and Bio-Technology are actively advanced. Development of information analysis algorithm for constitution diagnosis using clinical and biological information is started recently. In addition, the research for providing personal oriented treatment information with Diagnosis result is to in the process of advancing. This paper considers the inside and outside of the country technical development trend of research for using clinical and biological information by analyzing patents and papers. It executed information analysis about changes to number of research papers and patents, present state and star higher officer of research facility from the dissertation which it sees. It is known that our country research result is slight so far in quantity and quality as result of analysis. But hereafter it contains a many developmental possibility. Also it reflects the appearance and a growth of new field like bioinformatics from constitution and bio information application field. The combination of bio information similar to constitution and heredity and computing technology to control those information efficiently comes to think with core technique.

본 연구는 대학도서관 고객화 연구정보서비스 개념을 확립하고, 사서의 인식을 파악하여 고객화 연구정보서비스 필요성에 대한 공감대 형성 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 문헌조사를 바탕으로 연구정보서비스와 고객화의 정의 및 유형, 연구 동향 등을 정리하였고, 대학도서관의 연구정보서비스를 유형화하였다. 이를 바탕으로 사서 실무자를 대상으로 연구정보서비스 제공 필요성과 고객화 방안 적용 필요성에 대한 의견을 조사하는 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과 고객화 방안 적용 필요성 측면에서 사서 응답자들의 합의가 도출된 대학도서관 연구정보서비스 항목은 8가지인 것으로 파악되었다. 본 연구는 대학도서관 연구정보서비스의 개선 및 발전을 위해 새로운 시도를 제안하고, 사서의 공감대 형성을 통해 대학도서관의 전문성 및 가치 제고를 도모할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Background : Recently, Medical Act was amended to encourage the induction of combined treatment between Oriental Medicine doctors and Western doctors. As yet, the information infra for combined treatment has not been studied. Objectives : This study aimed to design the architecture of information system for combined treatment of the Oriental and the Western Medicine. Methods : First, we defined the information of combined treatment through the analysis of research trends from the inside and outside of the country. Because the data compatibility is very important, the definition of information must be ahead of anything else. Second, we designed the architecture of information system based on the prior definition. Results : We classified the information for combined treatment by subject such as law, clinic, research, manpower, facilities, and education. In this paper information system examined in three aspects. First the infra layer is organized as hardware, netware, and security. Second is data warehouse layer for the storing, filtering, and extraction of data. Third is service layer which is related to data transmission. And Finally all information for combined treatment is provided through the portal system for medical consumer, political planner, and R&D researcher. Conclusion : In this paper, we studied the essential factors of combined treatment information in the view point of information system. But the detailed design and implementation of information system must be followed to effect this results.

Human cognition and decision-making related to information systems (IS) is a major area of interest in IS research. Among these areas, cognitive bias rooted in behavioral economics is gaining considerable attention from researchers. In the present study, we identify the role of cognitive biases and discuss how they shape the information security behavior. We also seek research opportunities to provide directions and implications for future research.

This paper investigates the current status of the acquisition of information resources at the domestic hospitals. First of all, as a theoretical background, the concept of hospital information systems and the acquisition of information resources are reviewed. Second, as a research methodology, samples, data collection methods, and data analysis methods are discussed. Third, research hypotheses, operational definitions of the research variables and measurement are discussed. Fourth, as research results, characteristics of the samples and the current situations of the acquisition of information rourses are discussed based on the five research hypotheses.

We live in an age of information and an era of rising environmental awareness. As a result, efficient and judicious use of environmental information has become a prerequisite to planning and management of environmental affairs in contemporary societies. So, we have embarked on a study of Environmental Information System(EIS). In the first article, we discussed the status analysis of EIS in Korea, USA, and Japan. This study as the second project has three major components. First, it classifies items and sources of 22 EIA factors. Second, it explains building of environmental information comprising geographic and attribute data of 17 factors. Finally, the study presents applications of EIS as an alternative assessment of suitability analysis. Based on these analysis, the study makes some recommendations and conclusions.
