Convergence science research is activated, and digital humanities research is also encouraged in humanities. Therefore, this study attempted to propose a experimental study that applies Text mining and Entitymetrics methods to historical materials. Annals of King Seonjo, revised Annals of King Seonjo, Miscellaneous Record of the War and Writings on Imjin War were used, also network analysis and DMR topic models were used to explore topic changes and common entities in historical sources. Through the results, it was possible to propose the availability of quantitative analysis for text data, presenting a timing change of a specific topic, and an undiscovered relationship between person entities.

This study aims to analyze research topics within the domain of archival studies by examining bibliographic information from academic papers in archival science, library and information science, and history. After collecting 1,173 academic papers, network analysis was performed based on author keyword data, topic modeling was conducted from abstract data, and the analysis results were organized over time. The network analysis results based on author keywords confirmed that the research topic network actively changed according to variations in major laws and policies. Moreover, topic modeling from the abstract showed that the subjects of the entire academic paper were divided into "Records Management," "Archiving," and "National Records Policy." Notably, from 2002 to 2009, "Records Management" and "National Records Policy" were relatively dominant, but it has achieved balanced quantitative growth since 2009, peaking in 2019.

This paper describes the design and implementation of library for real-time operating system Q+, that was developed for the internet appliance. The library in the real-time operating system should be defined according to the standard interface and support the functions that are adequate to the real-time application. To ensure the compatibility between application programs, the Q+ library follows industrial and international standards, such as POSIX.1, ISO 7942 GKS. And, to support the Q+ application, library provides C standard functions, graphic/window functions, network functions, security support functions, file system functions. The Q+ library was implemented using the Q+ kernel, Digital TV set-top box, and KBUG debugging tool.

This study aims to evaluate the quality of Bibliographic database : The Union Catalog system(UNICAT) and Korean Library Information System Network(KOLIS-NET). The seven criteria(Coverage, Accuracy, Completeness, Currentness, Consistency on the quality of data itself and easy of use, Customer Support on the quality of database service) are used to measure their quality. The purpose of this study was dignose the quality of two bibliographic database mentioned above and analyses the measured result of quality comparatively and to find out the problems of them and also to provide possible suggestion for their improvements.

As interdisciplinary research has been dominant in various fields, the purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between interdisciplinarity and research impact in the field of Library and Information Science. For a data set, ten journals ranked as the top of 2011 JCR's in terms of JIF (Journal Impact Factor) were selected. The citation data of 1,873 articles from the ten journals were collected from the WoS during the period from 2006 to 2010. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, as network analysis was conducted to investigate the interdisciplinarity of LIS field, interdisciplinarity indicators, and research impact factors were statistically analyzed. The findings of this study confirmed the interdisciplinary knowledge structure of the LIS field as previous studies identified. More importantly, this study demonstrated that a positive correlation existed between interdisciplinarity represented as betweenness centrality and research impact.

Recently there has been a growing interest in digital preservation and digital curation with rapid increase of digital resource. This study aims to investigate the research topics and the course topics related digital preservation and digital curation. The course information is collected from the curricular of library and information science departments and archival science departments in leading countries such as US, England, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand. Title keyword profiling and network analysis were adapted to discover core research and education areas. The key topics in the abstracts of research papers and the contents of the course were also illustrated by these methods. In the research analysis, archival system is the biggest area of researches related digital preservation and digital curation. Courser analysis shows digital curation education and process is the important area of education. As a result of content analysis, plan and strategy is a notable topic of research and record management process is a major topic of courses for digital preservation and digital curation. In addition, format of digital resource is an important topic for research and courses.

Institutional repositories (IR) are promising to be extremely advantageous to scholars especially in developing countries. IR initiatives started in India during the late nineties and the popularity of this concept is growing rapidly in the higher educational and research institutions to disseminate newly emerging knowledge and expertise. The purpose of this paper is to critically analyze the network links of IR websites among four IITs that are registered in open DOAR (Directory of Open Access Repositories) web portal. The Institutional Repositories chosen for the study are IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, and IIT Kanpur. The analysis of the study focused on standard graph and network cohesion metrics, such as density, diameter, eccentricity and distances, and clustering coefficient; for an even more detailed analysis advanced centrality measures and fast algorithms such as clique census are used.

In line with the establishment of the National Sejong Library, the main objective of this study is to construct a basic management plan to enable smooth operations of the library from its opening. To follow through with this goal, this paper analyzes the environment surrounding the National Sejong Library, puts forth new strategies to reinforce the policy information service, and suggests new development plans for the library's collection. This study examines the internal and external environment of the library through face-to-face interviews with library staff, while conducting surveys on public officials transferred to the city for suggestions on how to reinforce the policy information service. The vision of the National Sejong Library is to become a specialized resource institution in administrative policy, while also fulfilling the day-to-day needs of the community and serving as a supplementary record storage facility to the National Library. In order to reinforce the policy information service, it is crucial to digitize all policy-related theses, reports, and trend research, while establishing a firm network with other libraries in Korea and abroad to provide a wider range of policy files, local government policy documents, and other resources.

Today, public libraries are contributing deeply to our society by strengthening their ability and services to identify and respond to users' needs through various programs. However, it is difficult to find a study that analyzed the research status of public library programs or changes over time. Therefore, for the purpose of systematically grasping research trends in the field of overseas public library programs, an intellectual structure analysis based on keyword profiling was performed. Specifically, subject terms analysis, network analysis and cluster analysis, and analysis by period/year were performed based on the controlled keywords (subject terms) of journal articles papers searched in the LISTA database. As a result, first, it was found that 9 subjects corresponding to all global/hot/local topics are leading the research in the field of overseas public library programs. Second, five research areas in the field of overseas public library programs(cultural programs, outreach programs, activity programs, public services, community) could be visualized and clearly identified. Third, research in the field of overseas public library programs began in earnest in the late 1990s and was active from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s, and after that, it was found to be somewhat stagnant until recently. This study is the result of specifically identifying research trends on programs that recently emerged as a major task of public libraries, and can be used as basic data and prior knowledge to explore the development direction of public library programs in the future.

This paper proposes a method of using national R&D patents' CoIPC networks to identify interdisciplinary trends of technology areas related to Korean national R&D. While previous research analyzed interdisciplinarity of national R&D with simple bibliometric descriptions, this research uses the network-based indexes to analyze its interdisciplinarity from the viewpoints of interdisciplinary "diversity of coupling" and "strength of coupling". In this research, this proposed method was used to form a R&D CoIPC network from the Korean national R&D patents registered from 2007 to 2010. It is expected that the proposed method can be incorporated into a system for a national R&D trend analysis, and used to identify the issues of technology convergence in national R&D and formulate its related research policies.
