  • The dissertation presents the portfolio construction method using the score sheet so that general investors can utilize it easily. This study draws the significant variables to contribute the enterprise value and suggests the combined models by applying the single methodology, which private investors can easily utilize. The results of the research can be classified into 2 areas. Firstly, the significantly affecting variables were selected for analyzing the enterprise value. The variables and the method for the enterprise value analysis were studied from the existing researches to choose the optimal variables. The variables were identified by using AHP method and the structure equation method from the investigation of the previous researches. And the critical variables were added extracted from the common denominator of variables which the 3 grue investors used for their investment. The final variables identified are dividend yield, PER, PBR, PCR, EV/EBITDA, ROE, net income, sales growth rate, net current asset, debt ratio, current ratio, rate of operating profits, ratio of operating profit to net sales, ratio of net income to net sales, net profit to total assets, EPS growth rate, inventory turnover ratio, and receivables turnover. Second, the new methodologies for forecasting enterprise value modifying the existing methods were developed. The result of the Logistic regression analysis for forecasting showed that the equation could not be suitable as the accuracy with 91.98%.

  • In a virtual community, one can possess multiple identities and pretend to be different by creating self-identity in contrast with his or her actual self. Does false identity undermine the qualitative growth of a virtual community by reducing members' accountability? Or does it stimulate their contributive behaviors by ensuring freedom of speech? It is imperative to understand the effects of multi-identity considering the distinct properties of a virtual community in which people easily change their identities at little or no cost. To answer these questions, we adopted the concept of self-discrepancy from the social psychology theory rooted in the concept of the self and developed a theoretical model to predict quality of contribution of the individual member in virtual communities. Based on the self-discrepancy theory, we first identified two different domains of the self: (1) an "actual self" that consists of attributes that the person believes he or she currently possesses in real life and (2) a "cyber self" that consists of attributes the person believes he or she possesses in a virtual community. Next, we derived an index for two different types of self-discrepancy by using the differences between the actual and the cyber identities: Personal Self-discrepancy and Social Self-discrepancy. Personal Self-discrepancy reflects the degree of discrepancy between actual and cyber identity regarding a person's intelligence, education, and expertise. Social Self-discrepancy reflects the degree of discrepancy between actual and cyber identity regarding a person's morality, sociability, and accordance with social norms. Finally, we linked them with sense of virtual community, perceived privacy rights, and quality of contribution to examine how having a multi-identity influences an individual's psychological state and contributive behaviors in a virtual community. The results of the analysis based on 266 respondents showed that Social Self-discrepancy negatively influenced both the Sense of Virtual Community and Perceived Privacy Rights, while Personal Self-discrepancy negatively influenced only Perceived Privacy Rights, thereby resulting in reduced quality of contribution in virtual communities. Based on the results of this analysis, we can explain the dysfunctions of multi-identity in virtual communities. First, people who pretend to be different by engaging in socially undesirable behaviors under their alternative identities are more likely to suffer lower levels of psychological wellbeing and thus experience lower levels of sense of virtual community than others. Second, people do not perceive a high level of privacy rights reflecting catharsis, recovery, or autonomy, even though they create different selves and engage in socially undesirable behaviors in a virtual community. Third, people who pretend to be different persons in terms of their intelligence, education, or expertise also indirectly debase the quality of contribution by decreasing perceived privacy rights. The results suggest that virtual community managers should pay more attention to the negative influences exercised by multi-identity on the quality of contribution, thereby controlling the need to create alternative identities in virtual communities. We hope that more research will be conducted on this underexplored area of multi-identity and that our theoretical framework will serve as a useful conceptual tool for all endeavors.

  • This paper estimates the TFP in IT manufacturing (total factor productivity) by employment size of establishment and analyses the determinants of it. And the panel data is consisted of time series and cross section data of 4 employment size of establishment over $1990{\sim}2004$. During the period from 1991 to 1997 TFP increased positively irrespective of the employment size of establishment, but from 1998 to 2004 TFP increase rate turned negative except large size(more than 300) of establishment. TFP assume macro variables and policy variables as the determinants of IT manufacturing TFP. The analysis of whole size of establishment shows that sales growth rate is significantly positive, which makes us conclude that there is a teaming by doing effect and economy of scale. But some variables(i.e. IT capital stock, policy financing, and openness etc.) are significant in only a few models. So there may be different effect by employment size of establishment. In TFP determinants analysis by employment size of establishment, we find that coefficients of policy financing and openness variables are significantly positive. The larger employment size of establishment is, the larger scale economy is. And for large size(more than 300) establishment, IT capital stock helps propel the increase of the productivity.

  • At present the letter sizes of traffic sign are variously designated as 22 cm through 60 cm, however the basis for determination has not been found so far. Driver's visual acuity for getting a driver licence is required higher than 0.5. In order to interpret the information of traffic signs effectively, the minimum requirement of driver's visual acuity must be applied to determine the letter size of traffic sign. Therefore we reviewed that a driver with visual acuity of 0.5 could read the current letter sizes of traffic sign. In addition, a methodology was developed to determine the letter size of traffic sign satisfied with the driver's visual acuity of 0.5. This study established scenarios that were composed of visual acuity, reaction time, the number of lane and the letter sizes of traffic sign for each scenario were proposed. Current letter size of traffic sign would not be difficult for drivers with minimum visual acuity of 0.5 to recognize the contents or information of traffic signs. The method developed in this research has an advantage that can consider a human factor like driver's visual acuity for the design of traffic signs. There is also a meaning of making a basis for the letter size of traffic sign.

  • In this paper, we present the results of the performance statistical analysis of the multi-robot formation control based on receding horizon particle swarm optimization (RHPSO). The formation control problem of multi-robot system can be defined as a constrained nonlinear optimization problem when considering collision avoidance between robots. In general, the constrained nonlinear optimization problem has a problem that it takes a long time to find the optimal solution. The RHPSO algorithm was proposed to quickly find a suboptimal solution to the optimization problem of multi-robot formation control. The computational complexity of the RHPSO increases as the number of candidate solutions and generations increases. Therefore, it is important to find a suboptimal solution that can be used for real-time control with minimal candidate solutions and generations. In this paper, we compared the formation error according to the number of candidate solutions and the number of generations. Through numerical simulations under various conditions, the results are analyzed statistically and the minimum number of candidate solutions and the minimum number of generations of the RHPSO algorithm are derived within the allowable control error.

  • Currently, there are many problems due to the decline in school-age population. Moreover, Korea has the largest number of universities compared to the population, and the university enrollment rate is also the highest in the world. As a result, the minimum student retention rate required for the survival of each university is becoming increasingly important. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of reducing the number of graduates of education and the social climate that prioritizes employment. And to determine what the basic direction is for students to manage the student retention rate, which can be maintained from admission to graduation, to determine the optimal input variables, Based on the input parameters, we will make associative analysis using apriori algorithm to collect training data that is most suitable for maintenance rate management and make base data for development of the most efficient Deep Learning module based on it. The accuracy of Deep Learning was 75%, which is a measure of graduation using decision trees. In decision tree, factors that determine whether to graduate are graduated from general high school and students who are female and high in residence in urban area have high probability of graduation. As a result, the Deep Learning module developed rather than the decision tree was identified as a model for evaluating the graduation of students more efficiently.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of experience characteristics of cosmetics brand stores on purchase intention through brand value and product in-store expectations. In addition, by identifying the effects of gender regulation, the study aimed to supplement theoretical studies and to provide practical implications on the experience of cosmetics brand stores. First, we presented educational experiences, aesthetic experiences, and playful experiences as experience characteristics in stores. And we assumed the effect of these experience characteristics on the brand value and the expectation of the product in the store, and the effect of the brand value and the expectation on the purchase intention of the product in the store. 279 data were collected from consumers who had visited cosmetics brand stores, and we analyzed them using structural equation analysis. As a result, both experience characteristics have positive effects on brand value and in-store product expectations, and brand value has positive effects on expectations. In addition, brand value and in-store product expectations have a positive effect on in-store product purchase intention. In moderating effects of gender, the effect of playful experience on brand value is greater in male group, and the impact of educational and aesthetic experience on product expectations is greater in female group. These results contribute to the theoretical expansion of experience research on cosmetic brand stores, and provide strategic implications for experience marketing of cosmetic stores.

  • With frequent incidents of unethical practices and acts in organizations, organizational leaders need to understand some of the causes that facilitate such negative organizational behaviors to lessen the chances of unethical behaviors from occurring. In an effort to understand some of the causes of unethical behavior, this study looks at competitive atmosphere and results-focused performance evaluation as some of the influencing factors on employees' tendency to decide to behave unethically. Competition culture can spur unethical behavior and evaluation culture with emphasis on results-focused which can create a perception among employees of a narrow view of work and how it is defined. The argument of this paper is that such characteristics can create environment for unethical behaviors and serve as an added push upon employees to choose to behave unethically. Collection of survey results from those working in Busan area were used to test the hypotheses using regression. Data analysis showed that in organizational atmosphere that is overly competitive and results-focused can influence employees to behave unethically. Implications and future research suggestions are discussed in conclusions.

  • It is true that there are not enough empirical studies on the companionship to social welfare workers until now. Thus, this study has reduced the need to demonstrate the causal relationship between compassion experienced and outcome variables by social workers. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the impact of the compassion experienced by social workers in social welfare facilities on positive psychological capital, and to the psychological effect formed by the psychosomatic concentration. Third, the purpose of this study is to verify the effect of positive psychological capital on the relationship between compassion and affective commitment, and fourth, the relationship between positive psychological capital and organizational identification. For empirical research, the hypothesis was verified after a survey of 369 social workers at social welfare facilities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The study showed that the compassion experienced by social workers had a positive(+) effect on positive psychological capital, and that positive psychological capital had a positive(+) effect on affective commitment. In the relationship between compassion and affective commitment, the effect of the mediation of positive psychological capital has also been proven to be significant. In addition in the relationship between positive psychological capital and affective commitment, it has been noted that organizational identification has also been proven to be significant. Therefore, this study has theoretical implications for the mediating effect of the positive psychological capital and the moderating effect of organizational identification in relation to the compassion. This study will have practical implications for enhancing social workers' behavior to be more compassionate in their attitude to customers.
