Designing of Dynamic Sensor Networks based on Meter-range Swarming Flight Type Air Nodes

  • Dynamic sensor network(DSN) technology which is based on swarming flight type air node offers analyzed and acquired information on target data gathered by air nodes in rotation flight or 3 dimension array flight. Efficient operation of dynamic sensor network based on air node is possible when problems of processing time, data transmission reliability, power consumption and intermittent connectivity are solved. Delay tolerant network (DTN) can be a desirable alternative to solve those problems. DTN using store-and-forward message switching technology is a solution to intermittent network connectivity, long and variable delay time, asymmetric data rates, and high error rates. However, all processes are performed at the bundle layer, so high power consumption, long processing time, and repeated reliability technique occur. DSN based on swarming flight type air node need to adopt store-and-forward message switching technique of DTN, the cancelation scheme of repeated reliability technique, fast processing time with simplified layer composition.

A Study of Choice for Analysis Method on Repeated Measures Clinical Data

  • Data from repeated measurements are accomplished through repeatedly processing the same subject under different conditions and different points of view. The power of testing enhances the choice of pertinent analysis methods that agrees with the characteristics of data concerned and the situation involved. Along with the clinical example, this paper compares the analysis of the variance on ex-post tests, gain score analysis, analysis by mixed design and analysis of covariance employable for repeating measure. Comparing the analysis of variance on ex post test, and gain score analysis on correlations, leads to the fact that the latter enhances the power of the test and diminishes the variance of error terms. The concluded probability, identified that the gain score analysis and the mixed design on interaction between "between subjects factor" and "within subjects factor", are identical. The analysis of covariance, demonstrated better power of the test and smaller error terms than the gain score analysis. Research on four analysis method found that the analysis of covariance is the most appropriate in clinical data than two repeated test with high correlation and ex ante affects ex post.

  • 항목이 연달아 반복되는 경우(집중반복)보다 간격을 두고 반복되는 경우(간격반복) 기억 수행이 더 우수한 현상을 간격효과라 한다. 단서기억과제(재인과제)의 간격효과 및 성공적 부호화와 관련된 신경기전을 밝히기 위해 event-related fMRI연구를 수행하였는데, 부호화단계에서 단어의 반복제시 간격을 조작하고서 fMRI 영상을 구하였다. 그 결과, 재인 수행에서 전형적인 간격효과가 관찰되었고 집중반복조건에 비해 간격반복조건 뿐만 아니라 비반복조건에서 좌반구의 배외측 전두피질(DLFC), 복외측 전두피질(VLFC)의 높은 활성화가 관찰되었다. 이러한 결과는 간격효과 및 이와 관련된 성공적 부호화가 높은 수준의 주의통제와 의미적 처리에 기인한다는 것을 시사한다.

  • In speech signal processing, it is necessary to estimate exactly the pitch. We propose a new algorithm which uses the correlation coefficient between the original and the repeated segmental waveform in the frame as a parameter in the pitch extraction. The correlation coefficient in the frame reflects the periodic component and the transient ratio of the waveform.

  • 본 논문에서는 Grabcut 알고리즘의 수행 속도를 효율적으로 개선시키기 위하여 GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)에서 데이터를 처리하는 방법을 제안한다. Grabcut 알고리즘은 뛰어난 성능의 객체 추출 알고리즘으로 기존의 Grabcut 알고리즘은 전경 영역과 배경 영역을 분할한 후 배경 K-클러스터와 전경 K-클러스터로 할당한다. 그리고 할당 된 결과를 점진적으로 개선될 때까지의 과정을 반복한다. 하지만 Grabcut 알고리즘은 반복된 클러스터링 작업으로 인하여 수행 시간이 오래 걸리는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 GPGPU(General-Purpose computing on Graphics Processing Unit)를 이용해 반복되는 작업을 병렬적으로 처리하여 Grabcut 알고리즘의 수행 속도를 효율적으로 개선시키는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법으로 Grabcut 알고리즘의 수행시간을 평균 약 90.668% 감소시켰다.

  • This paper is to aim the microdefect evaluation of If package into a quantitative from NDI's image processing of ultrasonic wave. (1) Automatically repeated discrimination analysis method can be devided in the category of all kind of defects on IC package, and also can be possible to have a sampling of partial delamination. (2) It is possible that the information of edge section in silicon chip surrounding can be extractor by the partial image processing of IC package. Also, the crack detection is possible between the resin part and lead frame.

  • The popularity of flat-panel display(FPD), including plasma display panel(PDP) and liquid-crystal display(LCD), has given rise to the need to streamline their production. In these days, PDP is one of the most popular display devices because of its expansion of manufacturing process and simplicity. Bus electrodes, sustain electrodes, barrier ribs and RGB phosphors are patterned on PDP panel to display an image. Since a minute damage on the pattern can cause a serious defect to display, it is important to inspect the pattern precisely. In this paper, an automatic inspection system of repeated pattern in PDP panel has been introduced to find the defect, such as open, short, dirt, island, and so on. And the inspection system has been operated in the mass production line of PDP.

  • 최근 IT기술이 발전함에 따라 디스플레이 등 영상장치에 대한 수요가 높아지고 있다. 그러나 영상 데이터를 획득, 전송, 처리하는 과정에서 다양한 원인에 의해 잡음이 발생한다. Salt and pepper 잡음을 제거하기 위한 필터에는 SMF, CWMF, AWMF 등이 있으며, 이러한 필터들은 잡음밀도가 높은 영역에서 에지 보존 및 잡음 제거 특성이 다소 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문은 고밀도 salt and pepper 잡음을 제거하기 위하여, 반복처리를 이용한 변형된 메디안 필터 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

아동의 전자게임 활동이 시각적 병행처리에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Playing Video Games on Children's Visual Parallel Processing)

  • This study examined the effects of short and long term playing of video gamer on children's visual parallel processing. All of the 64 fourth grade subjects were above average in IQ. They were classified into high and low video game users. Instruments were a visual parallel processing task consisting of imagery integration items, computers, and the arcade video game, Pac-Man. Subjects were pre-tested with a visual parallel processing task. After one week, the experimental group played video games for 15 minutes, but the control group didn't play. Immediately following this, all children were post-tested by the same task used on the pretest. The data was analyzed by ANCOVA and repeated measures ANOVA. The results showed that relaying short-term video games improved visual parallel processing and that long term experience with video games also affected visual parallel processing. there were no differences between high and low users in visual parallel processing after playing short term video games.
