  • A new monitoring system is proposed to give direct visual information of the remote site when working with a tele-operation system. In order to have a similar behavior of a human when he is inspecting an object, multiple cameras that have different view point are attached around the robot hand and are switched on and elf according to the operator´s motion such as joystick manipulation or operator´s head movement.   • There are a lot of PDP TV for a plasma discharge pulse voltage generated by the use of electromagnetic waves. EMI mesh film is near Infrared ray caused by malfunction of the remote control intended to prevent this phenomenon. In this study, the formation of fine pattern by making the mold is imprinted on the film sheet. EMI mesh film has been granted by filling in the conductive material region imprinted with electroforming in the manufacture of resistance. The fine patterns fabricated with electroforming facility thickness of homogenization process technology were established to optimize the working conditions.

  • In this paper it is proposed a new approach to the development of the automatic vision system to examine and repair the steam generator tubes at remote distance. In nuclear power plants workers are reluctant of works in steam generator because of the high radiation environment and limited working space. It is strongly recommended that the examination and maintenance works be done by an automatic system for the protection of the operator from the radiation exposure. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time recognition and examination of steam generator tubes in the preposed vision system, Performance of proposed digital vision system is illustrated by experiment for similar steam generator model.

  • In this paper, we propose a multicast routing scheme for an efficient and reliable support of multicast service to mobile hosts in IPv6 based networks. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm to reduce both the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the multicast service disrupt time using the RSVP scheme. The proposed multicast routing scheme is a hybrid method using the advantages of the hi-directional tunneling and the remote subscription proposed by the IETF Mobile IP working group. The proposed scheme satisfies the maximum tolerable transfer delay time and supports the maximum tunneling service. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performance in the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the time of multicast service disrupt than the previous schemes does.

  • We have studied the prearranged plan and the economy of a candidate site for the development of small hydro power. And also we have confirmed its economy by suggesting the technology of the unmanned operation and the selection of the water turbine generator which has a great efficiency, working rate and suitability to the topographical characteristics of various development sites, for example, irrigation reservoirs, water works pipes, sewage systems and cooling water of a steam power station. We proposed some opinions such as the better improvement of small hydropower industry the people' view, cooperation among industry/university/ research institutes, remote control/maintenance and goverment's legislature and supporting system etc.

  • In this paper, presents the design of mobile field robot controlled by microcomputer. The computer works as the supervisory system for decision making and sending command to control the field robot. An information from encoder, infrared sensors using for control task of the robot that can be interconnected with the computer through the serial communication RS422 standard. In this case, the user can design the program algorithm base on microcomputer in order to control and define the routing of the mobile robot. Moreover, the robot can be installed other equipment fer collect data such as picture, sound, temperature etc., in order to working in the dangerous area.

  • COMS SOC is supposed to operate IDACS as a backup of MSC. For the backup operation, there is a route between SOC and MSC for exchanging current version such as radiometric calibration for IMPS, dissemination schedule, encryption key and conversion table for LHGS. DATS C&M S/W is basically designed to control and monitor DATS equipment. However, its capability is extended to monitor the working status of IMPS, LHGS and even MSC IDACS. In addition, DATS C&M SIW can display discrepancy between MSC and SOC when applied version is different each other. This paper presents detailed description on the development of DATS C&M S/W.
