요통에서 경추와의 상관관계 연구 (The study for the usage of cervical vertebral portion to treat low back pain)

  • The aim of this study is to explain that we can use cervical vertebral portion to treat low back pain. In oriental medicine, there are many methods that use remote point to reduce low back pain. Anatomically, cervical vertebral portion relates to lumbar and sacral vertebral portion. As a result, in oriental medicine clinic, we can treat cervical vertebral portion to reduce low back pain.

  • 본 논문은 누구나 참여할 수 있는 웹상에서의 시공간을 초월한 on-line 및 off-line 겸용모드의 지능형 원격 진료시스템으로서, 데이터베이스는 IIS 4.0 웹서버 상에서 ASP와 SQL을 연동한 구현하여 효율적인 자료처리를 위한 시스템 통합과 환자와 의사 및 한의사간의 on-line 상담, 그리고 off-line상에서의 진료와 환자가 지정한 약사로의 처방전 전송 및 조제, 그리고 진료데이터의 저장 및 검색으로 인한 반영구적인 진료데이터저장이 가능하며, 가족간의 진료데이터 검색 및 공유등 유전에 대한 치료효과 및 개인 병력관리를 통한 과거진료상황에 따른 빠른 치료효과 및 의사간의 협조진료등이 가능한 지능형 객체관리를 이용한 데이터베이스 구성이 되어있다.

  • 의료정보서비스로 인해 병원에서의 디지털화는 환자관리에 빠른 발전이 있었다. 여기에 더하여 병원 어디에서나 언제든지 의료정보서비스를 제공하려는 노력을 하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 주요 요구사항은 DICOM 표준을 이용한 영상 뷰어시스템과 의료정보서비스를 지원하는 서버시스템 간에 통신할 수 있는 기능이다. 본 논문은 의료정보서비스를 제공하기 위해 RFID 기술을 이용한 이동 단말기 기반의 원격 네트워킹 시스템을 기술한다. 전반적인 구성을 적용하기 위해 본 논문은 우선 DICOM 뷰어 시스템을 개발하였고, 환자 정보를 저장하기위한 데이타베이스를 구성하였으며 모바일 터미널 환경에서 서버/클라이언트 네트워킹 시스템을 구현하였다. 특히, 본 논문은 문자 기반 통신은 물론 의료영상 기반 통신의 가능성을 보여주었다.

  • In future, hospitals are expected to automatically issue remote transcriptions. Many general hospitals are planning to encrypt their medical database to secure personal information as mandated by law. The electronic medical record system, picture archiving communication system, and the clinical data warehouse, amongst others, are the preferred targets for which stronger security is planned. In the near future, medical systems can be assumed to be automated and connected to remote locations, such as rural areas, and islands. Connecting patients who are in remote locations to medical complexes that are usually based in larger cities requires not only automatic processing, but also a certain amount of security in terms of medical data that is of a sensitive and critical nature. Unauthorized access to patients' transcription data could result in the data being modified, with possible lethal results. Hence, personal and sensitive data on telemedicine and medical information systems should be encrypted to protect patients from these risks. Login passwords, personal identification information, and biological information should similarly be protected in a systematic way. This paper proposes the use of electronic acupuncture with a built-in multi-pad, which has the advantage of being able to establish a patient's physical condition, while simultaneously treating the patient with acupuncture. This system implements a sensing pad, amplifier, a small signal drive circuit, and a digital signal processing system, while the use of a built-in fuzzy technique and a control algorithm have been proposed for performing analyses.

  • We developed the system that enables patients to be treated at home during their daily life through digital telemetry and public communication line. This system records and transfers ECG signals through wireless digital telemetry unhindering the patient's normal activities in long-term recording, and transmits the processed data, which enables real-time remote examination via ISDN phone line. Patient's image, voice, and transmitted signals are transferred to medical experts in remote medical center interactively.

인터넷을 통한 원격환자 모니터링 (Remote Patient Monitoring through the Internet)

  • In this paper, we present an intensive patient monitoring service through the Internet, which enables medical doctors to watch their patients in a remote site, to monitor their vital signs and to give them some advices for first-aid treatment. The service consists of three service objects: Monitoring Information Service(MIS), Vital Sign Monitoring Service(VSMS) and Multimedia Consulting (MCS). Through the MIS, medical doctors can get information about the patients currently under monitoring, including their names, ages, genders, symptoms, current main complaints and current locations. The VSMS enables medical doctors to monitor in real-time patients' vital signs such as electrocardiogram (ECG), respiration, temperature, blood oxygen saturation (SpO$_{2}$), invasive blood pressure (IBP), and non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP). It also generates alarms when the patients are likely to be in a critical situation. The MCS provides a real-time multimedia desktop conferencing facility for watching patients and instructing attendants to administer some first-aid treatment. We carried out some experiments according to two different scenarios. The intensive patient monitoring service was functioning well in a 100Base-T Ethernet LAN environment.

  • This Paper describes implementation of a remote ECG diagnostic system using telephone line. The overall system includes ECG data acquisition system, ECG terminal, system control software, automatic diagnosis system, and transmission system.'The proposed system provides various functions, which are ECG data acquisition, transmission, receiving, diagnosis and dialogue between patients and medical doctors. Thls system is very simple and convienient to use. We evaluate the performance of modem and the accuracy of automatic diagnosis algorithm. The obtained results suggest the Possibilities of a remote ECG diagnostic system using the only existed telephone line.

  • In this paper, we present a real-time remote patient monitoring service through world-wide web, which allows the medical doctor to monitor his patients in remote sites using popular web browsers. The real-time service consists of two services: Patient Locator Service (PLS) and Vital Sign Monitoring Service (VSMS). The PLS provides the information of patients currently being monitored. The VSMS allows the user to observe a stream of vital sign data of a specific patient. The vital sign data include ECG, respiration, temperature, $SPO_2$, invasive blood pressure and non-invasive blood pressure.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to suggest new directions for public health programs in rural and remote areas. Method: For this purpose, a literature review was done including articles, research reports, and master theses and doctoral dissertations. Results: Public health programs in rural remote areas were found to be very insufficient in terms of professional personnel and program diversity. Especially, there is a lack of adequate manpower and infra-structure in the public health sub-centers at the township and sub county level. Although community health practitioners at the village level are providing public health service beyond medical care, their coverage rate is very low. Conclusion: The results suggest a need to strengthen the function of public health sub-centers to provide comprehensive public health service based on the life-cycle approach. For this new change, legal and political support must be developed.
