Multicast protocols are efficient methods of group communication such as video conference, Internet broadcasting and On-Line Game, but they do not support the various transmission protocol services like a reliability guarantee, FTP, or Telnet that TCPs do. The Purpose or this Paper is to find a method to utilize multicast routers can simultaneously transport multicast packets and TCP packets. For multicast network scalability and error recovery the existing SRM(Scalable Reliable Multicast)method has been used. Three packets per TCP transmission control window site are used for transport and an ACK is used for flow control. A CBR(Constant Bit Rate) and a SRM is used for UDP traffic control. Divided on whether a UDP multicast packet and TCP unicast packet is used simultaneously or only a UDP multicast packet transport is used, the multicast receiver with the longest delay is measured on the number of packets and its data receiving rate. It can be seen that the UDP packet and the TCP's IP packet can be simultaneously used in a server router.

Multipath routing technique is recognized as one of the effective approaches to improve the reliability of data forwarding. However, the traditional multipath routing focuses only on how many paths are needed to ensure a desired reliability. For this purpose, the protocols construct additional paths and thus cause significant energy consumption. These problems have motivated the study for the energy-efficient and reliable data forwarding. Thus, this paper proposes an energy-efficient concurrent multipath routing protocol with a small number of paths based on interaction between paths. The interaction between paths helps to reinforce the multipath reliability by making efficient use of resources. The protocol selects several nodes located in the radio overlapped area between a pair of paths as bridge nodes for the path-interaction. In order to operate the bridge node efficiently, when the transmission failure has detected by overhearing at each path, it performs recovery transmission to recover the path failure. Simulation results show that proposed protocol is superior to the existing multipath protocols in terms of energy consumption and delivery reliability.
The extensive use of composite insulators for transmission lines can ultimately be justified only on long-term qualification tests. The actual load working on the insulator in the field is not static load but cyclic load. So in this paper, we discussed an examination of aging degradation by mechanical performance of composite insulators under static tension load and cyclic tension load. and also described useful approaches for analyzing their long term performance so as to develop reliable composite insulators. The static and cyclic tension load-time test data were examined by Weibull distribution for their capability of presuming long term performance. It was found that cyclic tension loads were more severe than static tension loads. The results also indicate that it may be relevant for an user to select composite insulators on basis of their performance under cyclic tension loads than static tension loads.

In this paper, we study a problem of providing reliable data transmission in wireless sensor network(WSN). A system with forward error correction9FEC) can provide an objective reliability while using less transmission power than a system without FEC. We propose the use of LDPC codes of various code rate (0.53, 0.81, 0.91) of FEC for WSN. Node-node-node interference is considered in the simulation in addition to AWGN in the channel. It is shown that the rate of 0.91 LDPC coded system obtained 7dB gain in signal to noise ratio over a system without FEC.

In the planning stage of bulk power transmission system, reliability evaluation has been a major issue in the sense of suppling reliable power at the minimum cost. MEXICO program, based on Monte-Carlo simulation method, is known as a valuable tool for reliability evaluation. This paper presents the empirical study results when using MEXICO program for IEEE-RTS, IEEE-MRTS and KEPCO-233 system.

In is well recognized that the ultrasonic method is one of the most common and reliable nondestructive testing(NDT) methods for the quantitative estimation of defects in welded structures. However, NDT techniques applying for adhesively bonded joints have not been clearly established yet. In this paper, the detection of interface crack by the ultrasonic method was applied for the measurement of interface crack length in the adhesively bonded joints of double-cantilever beam(DCB). The optimum condition of transmission coefficients and experimental accuracy by the ultrasonic method in the adhesively bonded joints have been investigated. The experimental values are in good agreement with the computed results by boundary element method(BEM) and Riplings equation.
CBTC(Communication-Based Train Control) system which is based on wireless communication can provide high density operation of the train using location tracking between ground and onboard train. It can also reduces maintenance expense because it does not require the ground equipment for tracking circuit and signal flag and so on. Recently, research and interest have been done on CBTC system. The high-speed trains up to 300km/h experience multi-path fading channel which bring about the performance degradation of wireless CBTC system. In this paper, we consider MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) antenna-based CBTC system for trains with Alamoutip-type space-time diversity transmission for reliable communication. Also we model a channel considering practical environment and evaluate performance improvement of proposed CBTC system.

The existing DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) scheme has a limitation in providing various services through short-range wireless communication. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intelligent WAVE/DSRC hybrid wireless platform that can improve data transmission speed and extend the effective communication range. This paper introduces WAVE/DSRC integrated platform technology using WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicle Environments) to overcome the disadvantages of DSRC. First, the desinged software configuration of the WAVE/DSRC integrated platform is described. Then each task operation scheme and WAVE software design are described. By applying the WAVE/DSRC integrated platform, we can compensate the shortcomings of DSRC. It can provide more accurate and reliable services.

Modern aberration-corrected transmission electron microscope (TEM) with appropriate electron beam energy is able to achieve atomic resolution imaging of single and bilayer graphene sheets. Especially, atomic configuration of bilayer graphene with a rotation angle can be identified from the direct imaging and phase reconstructed imaging since atomic resolution Moir$\acute{e}$ pattern can be obtained successfully at atomic scale using an aberration-corrected TEM. This study boosts a reliable stacking order analysis, which is required for synthesized or artificially prepared multilayer graphene, and lets graphene researchers utilize the information of atomic configuration of stacked graphene layers readily.
