SYNOP 지상관측자료를 활용한 수치모델 전구 예측성 검증 (Verification of the Global Numerical Weather Prediction Using SYNOP Surface Observation Data)

  • This paper describes methodology verifying near-surface predictability of numerical weather prediction models against the surface synoptic weather station network (SYNOP) observation. As verification variables, temperature, wind, humidity-related variables, total cloud cover, and surface pressure are included in this tool. Quality controlled SYNOP observation through the pre-processing for data assimilation is used. To consider the difference of topographic height between observation and model grid points, vertical inter/extrapolation is applied for temperature, humidity, and surface pressure verification. This verification algorithm is applied for verifying medium-range forecasts by a global forecasting model developed by Korea Institute of Atmospheric Prediction Systems to measure the near-surface predictability of the model and to evaluate the capability of the developed verification tool. It is found that the verification of near-surface prediction against SYNOP observation shows consistency with verification of upper atmosphere against global radiosonde observation, suggesting reliability of those data and demonstrating importance of verification against in-situ measurement as well. Although verifying modeled total cloud cover with observation might have limitation due to the different definition between the model and observation, it is also capable to diagnose the relative bias of model predictability such as a regional reliability and diurnal evolution of the bias.

프린터 음질평가의 신뢰성을 위한 결정오차 모델설계 및 실험적 검증 (Design of Decision Error Model for Reliability of Sound Quality Analysis and Its Experimental Verification)

  • In this study, the possibility of decision error is investigated to identify and improve the reliability of participants in the process of conducting the sound quality analysis for laser printers. So far, there is not a way to identify and express the possibility of individual participant quantitatively. Thus, the decision error model is proposed which is based on the expectation value between the perceived sounds. Through the experimental verification on the laser printers, it was found that the possibility of decision error is affected according to the normalized difference. The possibility of decision error has inversely proportional to the normalized difference between the perceived sounds. When the normalized difference becomes small value, the uncertainly between decisions is inversely increase, and then it is difficult to obtain the proper result in the process of the jury evaluation for laser printers. For this reason, in this study, the proposed decision error model is added in the previous step of the correlation verification. Comparing to the conventional process only using the correlation based method, after the reliability of each participant is verified, the correlation with the mean response of participants is verified. It was found that the participants who were recognized as having unusual preferences are actually identified as having the reliability problem. Based on the results of this study, the proposed decision error model will be helpful to identify and improve the reliability of participants in the following study for the sound quality analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 TTAK.KO-12.0112 문서에 따른 컴퓨터 포렌식을 위한 디지털 증거 분석도구의 일반적인 검증 절차를 살펴보고, 제시된 검증 항목들을 이용하여 실제 증거분석 도구를 대상으로 기능 요구사항들을 테스트한다. 또한 테스트 내용을 바탕으로 대상 도구들에 대한 성능 평가를 수행하며 각 도구들의 증거 분석 기능에 대하여 향후 성능 개선 방향을 제시한다. 이는 테스트 대상 도구가 수행 가능한 기능들을 파악하고, 요구사항 문서에서 제안된 검증 절차들을 활용하여 각 기능 별로 구체적인 모의 테스트를 설계한 후, 검증 항목의 내용을 포함시킨 가상의 증거 이미지 파일들을 생성하여 도구가 분석한 결과를 검증하고 해석한다. 이 과정을 통해 대부분의 도구들에서 단편화된 삭제 파일에 대한 복구, 국내에서 널리 사용되고 있는 파일 포맷 인식, 한글 문자열 처리 기능 등에 취약점이 존재함을 확인할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we develope a protocol verification tool that verifies the correctness of rail signal control protocol type 2 specified in LTS(Labeled Transition System) by using model checking method. This tool automatically checks several properties for deadlock, livelock and reachability of states and actions on LTS. and removes many errors and ambiguities of an informal method used in the past, so saves down expenditures and times required in the protocol development. Therefore it is expected that there will be an increase in safety, reliability and efficiency in terms of the maintenance of the signaling system by using the developed verification tool.

  • SCC (Smart Cruise Control) and AEBS (Autonomous Emergency Braking System) are using various types of sensors data, so it is important to consider about sensor data reliability. In this paper, data from radar and vision sensor is fused by applying a Bayesian sensor fusion technique to improve the reliability of sensors data. Then, it presents a sensor fusion verification tool developed to monitor acquired sensors data and to verify sensor fusion results, efficiently. A parallel computing method was applied to reduce verification time and a series of simulation results of this method are discussed in detail.

  • There are almost no studies on verification of requirements for high speed rolling stocks by means of RAM goals and on setting RAM goals by means of verification on practical reliability, availability and maintainability for high speed rolling stocks though they are covered in specification of an order that RAM goals asked of rolling stocks are shown for gaining high quality of them and availability when they are in operation. This study is for estimating number of high speed train-sets that would be supplementarily placed an order through verification of RAM goals of a project for the introduction of KTX-II 100 cars. It verify that optimized requirements for high speed rolling stocks by relatively comparison with between requirements for train-sets through setting RAM goals and requirements for train-sets through analysis of prospects for management balance with high speed rolling stocks.

Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Distributed Testing Methods

  • Recently, a large number of cryptocurrencies and block chains have been continuously released. However, these cryptocurrencies and block chains are open to users without authorized verification and testing procedures, causing various reliability problems. Existing cryptocurrencies and blockchain test methods build a blockchain Testnet for a certain period of time by the developer without external verification by a third party, and after repeatedly self-testing and self-operating processes, commercialization is in progress by switching to the Mainnet. This self-verification method does not guarantee objectivity and publicness, and high reliability of customers cannot be realized. This study proposes a cryptocurrency and blockchain test interface and test control system as a third-party open test method.

  • 최근 몇 년간 국내 산업에서 센서 오작동과 환경 모니터링의 부재로 인한 유해가스 방출 등으로 인명피해가 발생하고 이러한 유해 물질이 감지할 수 있는 환경 센서의 평가는 내구성 시험 및 위해성 검사 위주이기 때문에 센서의 측정 데이터에 대한 신뢰성 검증에는 한계가 있다. 본 플랫폼은 환경센서의 신뢰성을 검증하고 수집한 데이터를 통해 환경 분석을 위해 주요한 10종의 물질에 대해 측정하는 센서 보드와 각 센서의 성능 검증 체계를 설계하였다. 데이터를 수집하기 위해 센서 보드로 수집된 데이터를 LoRa 통신을 이용하여 데이터 신뢰성 평가 및 검증을 위한 서버로 전달되고 전달된 데이터를 모니터링 하기 위한 센서 데이터 플랫폼의 프로토타입을 제작하였다. 그리고 수집한 데이터를 이용하여 machine learning 기법을 통해 대기 환경을 분석하고 예측한다.

원전 화재위험도분석에서 전기회로분석 검증방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Verification Scheme for Electrical Circuit Analysis of Fire Hazard Analysis in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • In a fire hazard analysis (FHA) for nuclear power plant, various electrical circuit analyses are performed in the parts of fire loading analysis, fire modeling analysis, separation criteria analysis, associated circuit analysis, and multiple spurious operation analysis. Thus, electrical circuit analyses are very important areas so that reliability of the analysis results should be assured. This study is to establish essential electrical elements for each analysis for verification of the reliability of the electrical circuit analyses in the fire hazard analysis for nuclear power plants. Applying the results derived by the study to domestic nuclear power plants, it is expected to determine the adequacy of the fire hazard analysis report and contribute to the reliability of the fire hazard analysis of those plants.

무선데이터 서비스 품질 측정 시스템의 신뢰성 검증 및 평가 (Assessment and Validation of the Reliability of Quality Measurement System for Wireless Data Services)

  • The user increases around the WiBro and in which the mobile broad band service is the wireless internet base technology HSDPA, that is the cellular phone foundation technique, and moreover the issue about the user effective quality guarantee emerges but the quality control of the wireless network is the incomplete actual condition. Therefore, the reliability verification according to the development of the system for the performance measure for the continued wireless data service and it and evaluation are needed for the quality control. In this paper, the wireless data service quality measurement system was implemented with the design. The same test environment as the existing network performance measurement program was built for the reliability verification of the embodied device for measuring quality and evaluation and the cost performance was performed. It could confirm that design and embodied wireless data service quality measurement system operated accurately in this paper through the quality measure result value analysis.
