제어봉 구동장치 제어기기 설계 및 검증에 관한 연구 (Study of Design and Verification for Control Rod Control System)

  • We have developed a digital control rod control system not only to improve its performance but also to improve its reliability and speed of response so that it can replace the old fashioned analog system. However, a new developed digital control system should be tested to prove the validity by using any prototype or mock-up before application. The reliability prediction and the reliability block diagram analysis methods were adopted to verify the reliability of the developed hardware. For the case of software, especially fur a new developed control algorithm it has been tested to prove performances and validation by using a dynamic simulator and mock-up of control rod drive mechanism altogether. Here we want to present some key factors regarding to the new developed digital system with some verification procedures.

  • 위성의 기본적인 상태를 모니터링하며 자세 제어 및 위성 고유의 임무를 수행하는 위성비행소프트웨어는 운용 환경 및 그 특수성으로 인하여 매우 높은 수준의 신뢰성이 요구된다. 이를 위하여 개발 과정에서 다양한 활동이 이루어지게 된다. 실제 하드웨어 또는 하드웨어를 모사하는 시뮬레이터를 통해 위성비행소프트웨어를 동작시키고 지상 명령의 전송, Telemetry의 수신을 통한 검증의 경우, 매우 다양한 지원환경이 요구된다. 위성비행소프트웨어팀에서는 이러한 검증 활동을 보다 효과적으로 수행하고 이를 통해 소프트웨어의 신뢰성을 향상하고, 다양한 위성 개발에 공통으로 사용될 수 있는 위성 비행 소프트웨어 통합 검증 시스템을 구축하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위성비행소프트웨어의 효과적인 검증을 위한 통합 검증 시스템의 설계 및 구축 방안에 대하여 소개한다.

Probabilistic Soft Error Detection Based on Anomaly Speculation

  • Microprocessors are becoming increasingly vulnerable to soft errors due to the current trends of semiconductor technology scaling. Traditional redundant multi-threading architectures provide perfect fault tolerance by re-executing all the computations. However, such a full re-execution technique significantly increases the verification workload on the processor resources, resulting in severe performance degradation. This paper presents a pro-active verification management approach to mitigate the verification workload to increase its performance with a minimal effect on overall reliability. An anomaly-speculation-based filter checker is proposed to guide a verification priority before the re-execution process starts. This technique is accomplished by exploiting a value similarity property, which is defined by a frequent occurrence of partially identical values. Based on the biased distribution of similarity distance measure, this paper investigates further application to exploit similar values for soft error tolerance with anomaly speculation. Extensive measurements prove that the majority of instructions produce values, which are different from the previous result value, only in a few bits. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme accelerates the processor to be 180% faster than traditional fully-fault-tolerant processor with a minimal impact on overall soft error rate.

전투기급 비행제어법칙 상사성 및 HILS 환경 신뢰성 검증 (Verification of Flight Control Law Similarity and HILS Environment Reliability for Fighter Aircraft)

  • 개발된 비행제어컴퓨터(DFLCC: Developed Flight Control Computer)의 비행제어법칙은 고등훈련기급 항공기의 시제 최종 형상의 비행제어소프트웨어(OFP: Operation Flight Program)를 기반으로 개발되었다. 비행제어법칙은 상용 개발 툴을 이용하여 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 환경에서 설계되며, C 코드로 변환되어 OFP 에 반영된다. 그리고 OFP는 정형화된 검증절차를 통하여 검증되는데, 검증과정을 거치기 전에 비실시간 환경에서 C코드로 변환된 비행제어법칙과 기반이 되는 비행제어법칙의 상사성(similarity)을 검증하고, 구성된 HILS(Hardware In-the-Loop Simulator) 환경의 신뢰성(reliability)을 사전에 검증하는 절차가 필요하다. 비행제어법칙의 상사성은 비실시간 환경에서 고등훈련기급 항공기의 시제 최종 버전의 비행제어법칙과 개발된 비행제어법칙의 응답특성을 상호 비교하여 검증된다. 또한, 구성된 HILS 환경의 신뢰성은 비실시간 시뮬레이션 툴을 기반으로 HILS 결과와 항공기 응답특성을 비교하여 검증된다. 본 논문에서는 항공기 응답을 직접 비교함으로써 개발된 비행제어법칙의 상사성과 HILS 환경의 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

가정간호에 대한 돌봄만족도 측정도구 개발 - Watson의 돌봄개념을 중심으로 - (Development of the Tool for Measuring the Care Satisfaction of Home Health Nursing based on Watson's Theory of Human Caring)

  • Purpose: This study is a methodological research study for development of a tool for measurement of care satisfaction of home health nursing in patients who have received care through home health nursing and to test the validity and reliability of the tool. Method: Based on Watson's theory of caring and its constituent factors, the literature related to home health nursing was reviewed, and the standard of home health nursing was compared and analyzed. For verification of the validation and reliability of the final tool which has been developed, data were collected from 166 people who were receiving home health nursing care. Result: According to results of analysis of the factors based on Kaiser and scree test, 10 factors with an eigenvalue greater than 1.0 were extracted, and they explained 72.26% of the total variance. In addition, the factor loadings of 56 questions were greater than .30. For verification of reliability, Cronbach's alpha for all 56 items was .98 and Guttman split half reliability coefficient was .90. Conclusion: This tool based on Watson's theory of caring contributed to development and application of the nursing theory through verification of the theory.

우주발사체 개발사업에서 신뢰성공학의 시스템엔지니어링 인터페이스 (System Engineering Interfaces of Reliability Engineering in Development of Launch Vehicle)

  • Development of launch vehicle needs a large-scale and complicated System Engineering discipline interfacing to small-quantity production with special manufacturing processes. In general, the System Engineering discipline of launch vehicle has its relationship with Production, Operations, Product Assurance and Management disciplines and its internal partitions into the functions of System Engineering Integration & Control, Requirements Engineering, Analysis, Design and Configuration and Verification. As a function of Product Assurance, reliability of launch vehicle plays an significant role in risk management, system safety, flight safety and launch certification through design assurance. Moreover, major functions of systems engineering are integrated by means of reliability in the phases of design and verification. Therefore, derailed identification of system engineering interfaces of reliability, and execution of tasks for reliability assurance is required for successful development of launch vehicle. This paper identifies specific pattern and mechanism of the interfaces between reliability and system engineering.

풍력발전기용 피치/요 베어링의 시험절차 개발 (Development on Test Procedure of Pitch and Yaw Bearings for Wind Turbine)

  • Test procedure for the design verification of wind turbine pitch and yaw bearings has been developed. Test items were selected to evaluate operational reliability of pitch and yaw bearings by considering loading and operational conditions, and by analyzing the design criteria of pitch and yaw bearings. The developed test items consisted of preliminary test, fatigue load test, extreme load test, low temperature environmental test and dismantling inspection after all the test were completed. Because it reflects the actual operational conditions of the pitch and yaw bearings, the developed test procedure has high reliability and can verify the basic design considerations in the international standard and guidelines.

Verification for the design limit margin of the power device using the HALT reliability test

  • The verification for the design limit margin of the power device for the information communication and surveillance systems using HALT(Highly Accelerated Life Test) reliability test is described. The HALT reliability test performs with a step stress method which change condition until the marginal step in a design and development phase. The HALT test methods are the low temperature(cold) step stress test, the high temperature(hot) step stress test, the thermal shock cyclic stess test, and the high temperature destruct limit(hot DL) step stress test. The power device is checked the operating performance during the test. In this paper, the HALT was performed to find out the design limit margin of the power device.

  • 본 논문은 모델 기반 내장형 소프트웨어의 자동 생성 코드에 대한 효율적인 신뢰성 시험 절차와 구체화된 동적 시험 방안에 대해서 제시하고 있다. 모델 정적/동적 시험 각각을 코드 정적/동적 시험 전에 수행함으로서 코드 신뢰성 시험 수행의 이점이 있음을 기술하였다. 또한, 모델과 코드의 신뢰성 시험 상관관계를 모델의 경우 Model Advisor와 Verification and Validation tool, 코드의 경우 Polyspace와 LDRA를 이용하여 살펴보고 제시한 절차대로 수행한 신뢰성 시험의 결과를 보여주고 있다.
