  • The future will see all industries become technology-driven in the competitive global marketplace. Venture firms with deep technological roots and innovation strategies have some advantages. In this situation, existing methods for technology assessment are not enough to evaluate their relative technology competitiveness. Therefore, a more useful and comprehensive approach is needed to obtain the desired outcomes for measuring the relative competitiveness of technology effectively. In this research, I applied factor analysis, which is methodology to be capable of determining the common factors and associated weights reasonably, to the development of the technology competitiveness indexes.

  • This study is intended to look into the influence of environment and construction factor on bleeding of concrete. According to the results, as wind is light, relative humidity is high and temperature is low, the amount of bleeding increases greatly, and evaporation speed is influenced greatly by order of wind, temperature and humidity. As the properties of bleeding by construction factor, the amount of bleeding increases with an increase of placing thickness, but the bleeding ratio, the amount of bleeding per unit volume, increases with a decrease of the placing thickness. Bleeding speed is fastest at about 90 minute after placing concrete. Also, as wind is light, relative humidity is high, temperature is low and the placing thickness is thick, bleeding speed grow faster.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status and influence factor in measuring the dynamic stiffness of damping materials. The property of the dynamic stiffness of damping materials was tested and analysed in condition such as the size of test samples and the change of relative humidity in heating chamber. Test results showed that the dynamic stiffness of after-heating was lower than that of before-heating in most samples and the change of relative humidity in heating chamber got little influence of the dynamic stiffness. The resonant frequency of test sample decreased $2{\sim}7Hz$ as the decrease of the size of sample. Because it was increased that total mass per unit area of sample, the change of dynamic stiffness had little influence.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between always being on call and the conflict factors between work and life balance among employees' in the IT relative industry. The results are as follows: always being on call factor perceived by employees' in the IT relative industry influences to conflict factor between work and life balance. Moreover, always being on call factor negatively effects on all factors of job insecurity which are impotent feeling and possibility of job loss. From the analysis of relation between job insecurity and conflict between life and work balance showed that the factor of impotent feeling influence on conflict between life and work balance while the factor of job loss does not. In addition, job insecurity(impotent feeling and possibility of job loss) partially mediated between always being on call and the conflict factors between work and life balance among employees' in the IT relative industry.

  • The multisector model is designed to analyze and forecast structural change in industrial output, employment, capital and relative price as well as macroeconomic change in aggregate income, interest rate, etc. This model has 25 industrial sectors, containing about 1,300 equations. Therefore, this model is characterized by detailed structural disaggregation at the sectoral level. Individual industries are based on many of the economic relationships in the model. This is what distinguishes a multisector model from a macroeconomic model. Each industry is a behavioral agent in the model for industrial investment, employment, prices, wages, and intermediate demand. The strength of the model lies in the simulating the interactions between different industries. The result of its simulation will be introduced in the next paper. In this paper, we only introduce the structure of the multisector model and the coefficients of the equations. The multisector model is a dynamic model-that is, it solves year by year into the future using its own solutions for earlier years. The development of a dynamic, year-by-year solution allows us to combine the change in structure with a consideration of the dynamic adjustment required. These dynamics have obvious advantages in the use of the multisector model for industrial planning. The multisector model is a medium-term and long-term model. Whereas a short-term model can taken the labor supply and capital stock as given, a long-term model must acknowledge that these are determined endogenously. Changes in the medium-term can be analyzed in the context of long-term structural changes. The structure of this model can be summarized as follow. The difference in domestic and world prices affects industrial structure and the pattern of international trade; domestic output and factor price affect factor demand; factor demand and factor price affect industrial income; industrial income and relative price affect industrial consumption. Technical progress, as measured in terms of total factor productivity and relative price affect input-output coefficients; input-output coefficients and relative price determine the industrial input cost; input cost and import price determine domestic price. The differences in productivity and wage growth among different industries affect the relative price.

  • Objective: This study explored the mechanism of the Kelch-like erythroid cell-derived protein with CNC homology-associated protein 1 (Keap1)-nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) signaling pathway under conditions of zearalenone (ZEA)-induced oxidative stress in the duodenum of post-weaning gilts. Methods: Forty post-weaning gilts were randomly allocated to four groups and fed diets supplemented with 0, 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 mg/kg ZEA. Results: The results showed significant reductions in the activity of the antioxidant enzymes total superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase and increases the malondialdehyde content with increasing concentrations of dietary ZEA. Immunohistochemical analysis supported these findings by showing a significantly increased expression of Nrf2 and glutathione peroxidase 1 (GPX1) with increasing concentrations of ZEA. The relative mRNA and protein expression of Nrf2, GPX1 increased linearly (p<0.05) and quadratically (p<0.05), which was consistent with the immunohistochemical results. The relative mRNA expression of Keap1 decreased linearly (p<0.05) and quadratically (p<0.05) in the duodenum as the ZEA concentration increased in the diet. The relative mRNA expression of modifier subunit of glutamate-cysteine ligase (GCLM) increased quadratically (p<0.05) in all ZEA treatment groups and the relative mRNA expression of quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) catalytic subunit of glutamate-cysteine ligase decreased linearly (p<0.05) and quadratically (p<0.05) in the ZEA1.0 group and ZEA1.5 group. The relative protein expression of Keap1 and GCLM decreased quadratically (p<0.05) in the duodenum as the ZEA concentration increased in the diet, respectively. The relative protein expression of NQO1 increased linearly (p<0.05) and quadratically (p<0.05) in all ZEA treatment groups in the duodenum. Conclusion: These findings suggest that ZEA regulates the expression of key factors of the Keap1-Nrf2 signaling pathway in the duodenum, which enables resistance to ZEA-induced oxidative stress. Further studies are needed to examine the effects of ZEA induced oxidative stress on other tissues and organs in post-weaning gilts.
