Sustainable use of water resource and conservation of water quality are essential problems in the world. Especially, problems of water quality are serious one for human health as well as ecological system of all creatures on the earth. Recently, the importance of total effluent load as well as the concentrations of pollutant materials has been recognized not only for the conservation of water quality but also for sustainable water use in watersheds. However, the measurement or estimation of total effluent load from non-point source area such as farm lands or forests may be more difficult because both of concentration and discharge of the water are greatly changed depending on various factors especially metrological conditions such as rainfall, while the measurement from a point source area may be easy because the concentration of pollutant materials and amount of discharge water are relatively steady. Therefore, the total effluent load from a non-point source is often estimated by statistical relationships between concentration and discharge, which is called as L-Q equation. However, a lot of work and time are required to collect and analyze water samples and to get the accurate relationship or regressive equation. So, we proposed a new system for direct measurement of total effluent load of water quality from non-point source areas to solve the problem. In this system, the overflow depth at a hydraulic weir is measured with a pressure gage every hourly interval to calculate the amount of hourly discharge at first. Then, the operating time of a small electric pump to collect an amount of water which is proportional to the discharge is calculated to intake the water into a storage tank. The stored water is taken out a few days later in a case of storm event or several weeks later in a case of non-rainfall event and the concentrations of water quality such as total nitrogen and phosphorous are analyzed in a laboratory. Finally, total load of the water quality can be calculated by multiplying the concentration by the total volume of discharge. The system was installed in a small experimental forestry watershed to check the performance and know the total load of water quality from the forest. It was found that the system to collect a proportional amount of water to actual discharge operated perfectly and a total load of water quality was analyzed accurately. As the result, it was expected that the system will be very available to know the total load from a non-point source area.
Irregular workers, which have recently caused various socio-economic issues and conflicts, generally have low loyalty to the organization and job satisfaction due to anxiety about employment. As a way to improve this, this study attempted to analyze the effect of organizational communication satisfaction of irregular workers on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Among the 7th Human Capital Companies panel survey data, irregular workers survey data were collected and analyzed using the structural equation model analysis. The results were as follows: First, it was analyzed that organizational communication recognized by irregular workers had a positive(+) effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, it was analyzed that job satisfaction had a positive(+) effect on organizational commitment. Third, it was analyzed that job satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between communication satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study is significant in that it expanded the research subject to irregular workers from the existing service industry-oriented research, and that it included more diverse industries. The results of this study suggest that mission and vision sharing and communication activation system are needed to improve organizational effectiveness of irregular workers.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to classify and analyze existing studies from various angles through systematic literature review of how human resources development has been researched in the domestic franchise business. These studies are intended to suggest the direction in which human resource development research should be conducted in the future in the franchise business. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is based on systematic literature review methodology. It has gone through the process of subject language setting, literature search routing, search term selection, literature selection, literature classification and literature analysis. The systematic literature review identified 59 peer-reviewed dissertations and scientific journal publications on the subject of HRD in Korea franchise business. Result - This study analyzed by research methods, research industries, research population and dependent variable using the systematic review process. The literature studied in the 2000s mainly led to research on education and training of franchise employees in beauty franchise business. In the literature studied since 2010, human resources development was mainly studied in the supervisor in the restaurant franchise business, and in the study of competence rather than education and training. According to the research methods, statistical methods were mostly relatively simple, such as t-test or one-way distribution analysis until the 2000s, and after 2010, in-depth and structural studies using multiple return analysis, structural method analysis, path analysis, multi-dimensional scale analysis, AHP, etc were conducted. When classified by study dependant, early research until the 2000s focused on the study of education and training, which is an independent variable, on the satisfaction of education programs, job satisfaction, and immersion. On the other hand, studies conducted since 2010 have produced more complex results using various medium variants, and those related to management performance and relationship performance have been mainly studied, rather than the satisfaction of the education itself. Conclusions - While the domestic franchise business is expanding in terms of quantity, such as the number of franchises and franchises, the development in terms of quality for the joint growth of franchises and franchisees is still lacking. In order for the franchisee to continue to grow with each other, the franchisee must identify and develop their current performance or expected capabilities through capacity modeling at various targets and levels.
We investigate empirically the impact of IT exploration & exploitation capability and operational capability upon organizational agility, especially small and medium sized firms in the logistics industry in South Korea. Based on literature on the bilateral relationship between organizational agility and IT capability, we follow the established research model and propose hypotheses. This work takes an empirical methodology to test the hypotheses: design survey questionnaires, collect data, test reliability and validity of data, and finally test the hypotheses. Our results based on the data collected in 2018 present that IT exploration & exploitation capability significantly increases operational capability, and operational capability increases organizational agility. We find our contribution in updating previous research findings with recent data and in expanding the domain of research more specifically into small and medium sized firms in logistics industry in South Korea. Practically our work suggests that managers and policy makers should consider both fostering newly emerging IT exploration and existing IT resource exploitation capability in order to enhance organizational agility of those small and medium sized firms in logistics industry.

Objective This study was to identify the risk factors for cytological progression in women with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) or low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL). Methods We analyzed data from women infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV) who participated in the Korean HPV cohort study. The cohort recruited women aged 20-60 years with abnormal cervical cytology (ASC-US or LSIL) from April 2010. All women were followed-up at every 6-month intervals with cervical cytology and HPV DNA testing. Results Of the 1,158 women included, 654 (56.5%) and 504 (43.5%) women showed ASC-US and LSIL, respectively. At the time of enrollment, 143 women tested positive for HPV 16 (85 single and 58 multiple infections). Cervical cytology performed in the HPV 16-positive women showed progression in 27%, no change in 23%, and regression in 50% of the women at the six-month follow-up. The progression rate associated with HPV 16 infection was higher than that with infection caused by other HPV types (relative risk [RR], 1.75; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.08-2.84; P=0.028). The cytological progression rate in women with persistent HPV 16 infection was higher than that in women with incidental or cleared infections (P<0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed a significant relationship between cigarette smoking and cytological progression (RR, 4.15; 95% CI, 1.01-17.00). Conclusion The cytological progression rate in HPV 16-positive women with ASC-US or LSIL is higher than that in women infected with other HPV types. Additionally, cigarette smoking may play a role in cytological progression.
The phylogenetic relationships among thirty-two strains (P1~P32; including Cordyceps sp., Paecilomyces sp., Beauveria sp., Aranthomyces sp., Isaria sp. and Himenostilbe sp.) in Miryang region located in the southern part of Korea, were investigated based on internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences of ribosomal DNA. A fragment of ITS region was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using the specific primer pairs ITS1 and ITS4. After obtained same size of PCR products from various strains, we cloned them into a pGEM-T easy vector to determine their sequences. BLAST analyses of the nucleotide sequence ITS1, 5.8S and ITS2 gene fragments revealed the identity and their phylogenetic relationship. Among 32 strains isolated from Miryang region, Cordyceps militaris was shared 100% sequences with Genbank (AY49191, EU825999, AY491992), while some species are not shared perfectly with reported sequences. For example, strain P17 (P. tenuipes in Ulju-gun Gaji Mountain) has some differences among the other strains of P. tenuipes (Miryang-si Jocheon-eup, Miryang-si Gaji Mountain) and those of gene bank. We conclude that ITS analyses with strains in the suburbs of Miryang in this study can be effectively used as a tool for classification, evaluation and collection of the natural eco-type genetic resources.
This study tries to examine the impact relationship between the organizational justice perceived by the employees and the information system quality on the decision quality through absorption capabilities in order to find the factors that influences the corporate decision making in the rapidly changing market environment. With regards to this, 239 copies of survey data were collected subjecting the employees of the SMEs, and the hypothesis of this study was verified using SPSS 22.0 and PLS 3.0. As the result of the study, the organizational justice and information system quality has individually shown a positive (+) effect on the absorption capability, and the absorption capability has shown positive (+) effect on the decision quality. Through this study, a theological foundation for the organizational justice and information system quality was prepared as a prerequisite for the absorption capacity, and this study targets to suggest a theological and practical implications which secures the competitiveness by increasing the decision quality of the SMEs through comprehensive analysis of the organizational justice and information system quality which motivates the human resource. Future study requires additional research regarding the information system quality and finds various studies on the performance part due to necesssary decision quality.
This study was conducted to explore the experience and its meaning of the elderly residents in long-term care facilities(LTCFs). It is aimed to find the role of family and society for the qualitative care of elderly living in LTCF and to seek social welfare measures. For this purpose, qualitative research data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews and participation observations on 8 elderly residents at 4 LTCFs in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological research method. The analysis results show that 33 semantic units, 14 subcomponents, and 4 upper components. The 4 upper components showed up as 「Crumbling my existence」, 「The life thrown into an unfamiliar environment」, 「New relationship where discomfort and gratitude coexist」 and 「My life I want to find」. Among them, 「My life I want to find」 was the essence of the living experiences of elderly residents in LTCF. Through this study, it was suggested creating an environment to provide facilities access preparation program for the elderly, developing and activating various family participation programs, providing conditions of Aging in place for the elderly, and developing and activating community resource linkage programs.

A water resource plan is routinely based on a natural flow and can be estimated using observed streamflow data or a long-term continuous rainfall-runoff model. However, the watershed with the natural flow is very limited to the upstream area of the dam. In particular, for the ungauged watershed, a rainfall-runoff model is established for the gauged watershed, and the model is then applied to the ungauged watershed by transferring the associated parameters. In this study, the GR4J rainfall-runoff model is mainly used to regionalize the parameters that are estimated from the 14 dam watershed via an optimization process. In terms of optimizing the parameters, the Bayesian approach was applied to consider the uncertainty of parameters quantitatively, and a number of parameter samples obtained from the posterior distribution were used for the regionalization. Here, the relationship between the estimated parameters and the topographical factors was first identified, and the dependencies between them are effectively modeled by a Copula function approach to obtain the regionalized parameters. The predicted streamflow with the use of regionalized parameters showed a good agreement with that of the observed with a correlation of about 0.8. It was found that the proposed regionalized framework is able to effectively simulate streamflow for the ungauged watersheds by the use of the regionalized parameters, along with the associated uncertainty, informed by the basin characteristics.
As information is recognized as an important asset of an organization, organizations are increasing their resource input for knowledge management. In particular, the enterprise content management system(ECMS) is a solution for organization-oriented content management, and it has high utility by helping to achieve business performance through systematic utilization of content and improve the level of internal information security. The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan to improve the intention to use organizational employee's ECMS and to suggest the effect of the relationships between information system quality characteristics and work environment characteristics on intention to use. In this study, a research hypothesis was presented based on previous studies, a questionnaire was conducted on workers of organizations that adopted an ECMS, and the hypothesis was verified by applying structural equation modeling. As a result of the analysis, information and service quality of the ECMS and task interdependence increased the intention to use, but task conflict decreased the intention to use. In addition, task interdependence and task conflict moderated the positive relationship between the quality factors of the ECMS and the intention to use it. This study has implications in terms of suggesting the direction of the organization's behavior through factors that increase the use of ECMS.
