Also, it will make it for us to presuppose consumer's buying-behaviors in modem society. As an analytical result of consumer's buying-behavior type, they were divided into four type; price value consciousness type, sale orientation type, price-quality schema type, convenience type. As a result of cluster analysis and one-way ANOVA on the three type of consumer's buying-behavior : Price-orientation type, high quality orientation, convience orientation. And it was found that there was relation between buying-behavior types and brand loyalty. Specially, it was high positive relationship between high quality orientation and brand loyalty, convience orientation and brand loyalty.

Digital orientation had, in case of the male, a positive relation with body-modification need, a positive one with appearance interest in female. Positive activity had positive relations with appearance interest and body satisfaction in both male and female. Appearance interest, weight interest, and body-modification need levels were significantly higher for female than for male, whereas body satisfaction were higher for male than for female. Appearance interest of male was influenced by positive activities and social stratification. Appearance interest of female was influenced by material orientation and positive activity. Body-modification need of male was influenced by digital orientation and frugality(-), that of female only influenced by material orientation. Fashion and brand preference of male was influenced by material orientation, frugality(-), and social stratification. In case of the female, fashion was influenced by positive activity, material orientation and frugality(-), brand preference influenced by material orientation and positive activity.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between perception of family environment and mental health of boy's high school students. In order to obtain the appropriate data, a questionnaire was administered to 240 boy's high school 2nd-grade students in Pohang city from March 19 to March 28, 1992. The instruments used for this study were Moos's Family Environment Scale Form R and Kim's Symptom Check List-90. The conclusions were as follows : The level of perception of family environment was lower than mean score. Cohesion, achievement orientation, independence, organization, expressiveness were percepted high but active-recreational orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation were percepted low. Mental health of most respondents was well. The scores of obsessive-compulsive reaction and interpersonal sensitivity were high, the scores of somatization and phobia were low. General characteristic variables significantly related to the level of perception about family environment were father's occupation and mother's education level. There were no significant differences between general characteristic variables and mental health. There were mostly negative correlations between perception of family environment and mental health. Cohesion, expressiveness, independence, intellectual-cultural orientation, active-recerational orientation, moral-religious emphasis, organization were negatively correlated but conflict, achivement orientation, control were positively correlated. Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, achivement orientation, active-recretional orientation, organization, control were significantly related, but independence intellectual-cultural orientation, moral-religious emphasis were no significant correlation.

  • During compression molding of fibre-reinforced thermoplastics, the two main problems such as the fibre-matrix separation and the fibre orientation are produced by the flow state. As the molded product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic due to the separation and the orientation, it is necessary to clarify these in relation to the molding process variables and the fibre structure (fibre entanglement). If the entanglement of fibre structure is strong, the separation increases and the orientation is not easily aligned. Namely, these are inseparably related to each other. The correlation between the separation and the orientation have to be clarified for designing the fibre structure. In this paper, the degree of nonhomogeneity which is a measure of the separation is obtained using one-dimensional rectangular shaped part compression molding. And the orientation function is defined and measured by the image processing using soft X-rayed photograph and image scanner. Correlation between the degree of nonhomogeneity and the orientation function is discussed.

  • This study examined the mediating effects of strengths use on the relation of strengths knowledge and career decision level among 393 college students. To analyze the data, the structural equation modeling were used. Finally, the mediating model examined the differences between goal orientation(validation-seeking orientation, growth-seeking orientation) of Dykman by carrying out of multi-group analysis. The results were as followed. First, strengths use partially mediated the relationship between strengths knowledge and career decision level. Second, the mediating model showed variation in different goal orientation type group. In other words, strengths knowledge occurs more severely and distinctively impact on career decision level in growth-seeking group than validation-seeking group. Based on the findings, implications for counseling practice, limitations of this study and recommendations for future study were discussed.

  • This study examined the interactive effects of selective exposure, political orientation, and political interest on YouTube political video users' attitude polarization. The results are presented as follows. In relation to research question 1 and 2, attitude polarization toward selective exposure and political orientation, selective exposure and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, in the same selective exposure, the main effect on attitude polarization 'I' was found. Therefore, it was found that the higher the selective exposure of YouTube users to political videos, the stronger the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves. In relation to research question 3, attitude polarization toward political orientation and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, the interaction effect on the attitude polarization 'I' was found in the political orientation and political interest. Therefore, when political interest in both progressive and conservative tendencies is high, the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves is also strengthened.

  • Many students prefer to study abroad to increase their chances of having a better future. While studying abroad they may encounter difficulties such as adapting to the culture of the country they are studying in. Chinese students coming to Korea are no exception to this, and when they are studying abroad, the new environment they are in may cause them hardships which may impact on their social life and even their academic performance. In order to develop their careers, they face many difficulties and challenges. Cultural differences they experience may change their attitudes, thoughts, and values. This research focuses on international students who are not yet certain about their future plans. In order to grasp levels of daily life satisfaction, ease of communication, and future planning orientation, this study conducted a survey of Chinese students who study in Korea. The empirical analysis showed that students with high level of life satisfaction have a tendency to enter graduate school. However, communication has no relation to future planning orientation.
