Elastic modulus, tensile and bond capacities are important factors for developing an effective reinforcing action of a flexural member as a reinforcing material for concrete structures. Reinforcement must have enough bond capacity to prevent the relative slip between concrete and reinforcement. This paper presents an experimental study to clarify the bond capacity of prestressed carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) rod manufactured by an automatic assembly robot. The bond characteristics of CFRP rods with different pitch of helical wrapping were analyzed experimentally. As the result, all types of CFRP rods show a high initial stiffness and good ductility. The mechanical properties of helical wrapping of the CFRP rods have an important effect on the bond of these rods to concrete after the bond stress reached the yield point. The stress-slip relationship analyzed from the pull-out test of embedded cables within concrete was linear up to maximum bond capacity. The deformation within the range of maximum force seems very low and was reached after approximately 1 mm. The average bond capacity of CF20, CF30 and CF40 was about 12.06 MPa, 12.68 MPa and 12.30 MPa, respectively. It was found that helical wrapping was sufficient to yield bond strengths comparable to that of steel bars.

With the average life expectancy increasing thanks to better standards of living and medical technology, the number of elderly construction workers in construction sites rises every year to surpass the 450 thousand people in the construction industry (24.7% of all employees in the construction industry). Similarly, the percentage of fatal accidents involving elderly workers has stood at 41~46 percent for the past five years; note that this is significantly higher than the other age groups, making safety measures for dealing with this issue a matter of urgency. This study sought to propose appropriate safety guidelines for elderly construction workers aged 50 years and over by examining the changes in their physical and psychological functions and through the subsequent analysis of the current status and causes of fatal accidents involving them. The guidelines targeted ferroconcrete construction where accidents occur quite often; construction was classified into mold construction, reinforcing rod construction, and concrete construction. Mold construction was further classified into preparation, carry-in, processing, assembly, and disassembly, and reinforcing rod construction, into preparation/transport and processing/assembly. Safety guidelines for each process were presented by dividing them into three aspects considering the changes in the physical and psychological functions according to their ages and type of accident causes: work environment improvement, machinery and equipment improvement, and work method improvement.
Potassium hexatitanate ($K_2Ti_6O_{13}$) with high thermal insulating capacity, good mechanical properties, and excellent chemical stability are promising functional materials in the field of reinforcing material, heat insulating paints and automotive brake linings. In this study, we successfully synthesized rod-shaped potassium hexatitanate ($K_2Ti_6O_{13}$) by aerosol spray drying and post heat treatment as an eco-friendly process. The $KHCO_3-TiO_2$ porous particles were firstly synthesized from a colloidal mixture of $K_2CO_3$ and $TiO_2$ via aerosol spray drying. Size of $KHCO_3-TiO_2$ porous particles was ranged from $1{\mu}m$ to $5{\mu}m$. The porous particles were then heated to fabricate rod-type $K_2Ti_6O_{13}$. The length and width of rod-type composites were affected by temperature and heating time. The length and width of $K_2Ti_6O_{13}$ were increased by 830 nm and 500 nm, respectively, as the reaction temperature and time increased.
The corrosion resistance of reinforcing bar was studied to endure the marine environment during shipment. The red rust on the surface did not damage the adherence in the concrete structures, especially in highly alkaline environment, but made the consumer doubt of the quality. The passivation process by alkalization of the quenching water in the tempcore process failed to endure the long shipping period. The ceramic coating by sol-gel process improved the corrosion resistance without damaging the mechanical properties and adherence between concrete and reinfiorcing bar. Optimal concentration of the coating solution and coating temperature were tested. No additional energy was necessary for the coating process by spraying during cooling process, resulting simplified process and low cost. Salt spray test, cyclic corrosion test and atmospheric test were employed to confirm the resistance. The corrosion rates were presented by rating number and polarization resistance. The coating layer was examined by FIB, XRD and SEM etc.
To investigate the reinforcing effects of functional fillers in nitrile rubber (NBR) materials, high-structure carbon black (HS45), coated calcium carbonate (C-CaCO3), silica (200MP), and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used as functional filler, and carbon black (SRF) as a common filler were used for oil-resistant rubber. The curing and mechanical properties of HS45-, 200MP-, and MWCNT-filled NBR compounds were improved compared to those of the SRF-filled NBR compound. The reinforcing effect also increased with a decrease in the particle size of the fillers. The C-CaCO3-filled NBR compound exhibited no reinforcing effect with increasing filler concentration because of their large primary particle size (2 ㎛). The reinforcing behavior based on 100% modulus of the functional filler based NBR compounds was compared by using several predictive equation models. The reinforcing behavior of the C-CaCO3-filled NBR compound was in accordance with the Smallwood-Einstein equation whereas the 200MP- and MWCNT-filled NBR compounds fitted well with the modified Guth-Gold (m-Guth-Gold) equation. The SRF- and HS45-filled NBR compounds exhibited reinforcing behavior in accordance with the Guth-Gold and m-Guth-Gold equations, respectively, at a low filler content. However, the values of reinforcement parameter (100Mf/100Mu) of the SRF- and HS45-filled NBR compounds were higher than those determined by the predictive equation model at a high filler content. Because the chains of SRF composed of spherical filler particles are similarly changed to rod-like filler particles embedded in a rubber matrix and the reinforcement parameter rapidly increased with a high content of HS45, the higher-structured filler. The reinforcing effectiveness of the functional fillers was numerically evaluated on the basis of the effectiveness index (SRF/f) determined by the ratio of the volume fraction of the functional filler (f) to that of the SRF filler (SRF) at three unit of reinforcing parameter (100Mf/100Mu). On the basis of their effectiveness index, MWCNT-, 200MP-, and HS45-filled compounds showed higher reinforcing effectiveness of 420%, 70%, and 20% than that of SRF-filled compound, respectively whereas C-CaCO3-filled compound exhibited lower reinforcing effectiveness of -50% than that of SRF-filled compound.

The concrete used most in construction materials. There is an overcrowded iron dimensions use of the concrete at time of the other concrete theory on the reinforcing rod back which did congestion and compares it with this, and there are more few dimensions of the aggregate than concrete, and quantity of aggregate passage is superior in mortar than concrete. If a volume rate of the aggregate writes mortar than concrete against this, therefore, unit amount increases, and quantity of paste increases and quantity of dry shrinkage than increase concrete. However, I let I regulate lay priest distribution of the aggregate, and the results rates increase and reduce unit amount and decrease quantity of dry shrinkage, and separation resistance and the gap passage characteristics are judged because it can be it in a substitute document of very superior concrete. I came to carry out the study that I watched to let I was useful a little more and do the improvement repair of a become building wall body, a basement pillar and repair reinforcement of the assistant in the reinforcing rod back, the old age when I made congestion here. I regulated lay priest distribution of the aggregate in the study and regulated substitution rate of the aggregate (40%, 50%, 60%) and divided W/C 30%, 40% standards and produced mortar and I compared quantity of air by this, slump, compression robbery and showed it this time.

In order to seek out methods to reduce safety accidents caused by construction machinery and equipment, this study collects data about safety accidents and draws main risk factors by construction from the data, through SNA. It aimed to suggest safety management points to be used in future construction fields, by analyzing risk index of such factors. The finding can be summarized: First, Backhoe Bucket is the risk factor for crash accidents of average workers in earth works; boring machines-maintenance is the risk factor for fall accidents of construction machinery operators in foundation works; bending machine-reinforcing rod processing is the risk factor for jamming accidents of reinforcing rod engineers in frame works; and mobile crane-hook is the risk factor for crash accidents of average workers in lifting works. Second, works can be arranged in turn, according to the risk index: earth, lifting, frame and foundation works. Risk factors can be also arranged according to the risk index: Backhoe in earth works, pile drivers in foundation works, bending machines in frame works and mobile cranes in lifting works. This study has some limits, in that it only analyzed main machinery/equipment, among various kinds of them, for earth, foundation, frame and temporary works (lifting works) and used data collected over three years. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis using big data, by collecting additional data about a lot of machinery/equipment in future construction fields.

This paper presents the pull-out failure mode on Headed Bars and prediction of tensile capacity, as governed by concrete cone failure. 17 different plate types, three different concrete strengths and three different welding types of specimens were simulated. Test variables are the reinforcing bar diameters connected to headed plate (e.g., 16mm, 19mm and 22mm), the head plate shapes (e.g., circular, square, rectangular), the dimensions of head plates (e.g., area and thickness), the types of welding scheme for connection of reinforcing bars and head plates (e.g., general welding and friction welding). Headed Bars were manufactured in different areas, which shape and thickness are based on ASTM 970-98. Calculation of Embedment length in concrete is based on CSA 23.3-94, and static tensile load was applied. Pullout capacities tested were compared to the values determined using current design methods such as ACI-349 and CCD method. If compare experiment results and existings, Headed bar expressed high strength and bigger breakdown radious than standard by wide plate area and anomaly reinforcing rod unlike anchor.

Utilization of underground construction if increased by the large size & skycraperlization of building recently. Therefore. waterproof dependence of underground construction is risen. However, water leakage was happened by rupture by concrete conduct, drying shrinkage. form tie. In underground environment soil class, degradation of waterproofing is showing to corrode by oil. An odious smell by oil, promotion evil of reinforcing rod corrosion, declination of durability can happen. Then, practical un degree of underground spare becomes low, Because oil or water permeates by construction by degradation to waterproof class corrode by oil, is considered to affect evil durability of construction.
