GEOTRACK을 이용한 궤도변수에 따른 침하 및 응력 특성 분석 (Analysis of Settlement and Stress Characteristics about Influence of Track Parameters on Railroad Roadbed by using GEOTRACK)

  • Railroad track consists of relatively simple structures such as rail, sleeper, ballast. Roadbed shares vertical pressure by train load which passed through rail to ballast as base that supports the track. For evaluating stress and displacement of roadbed due to the railroad load is an important role on the track as a basic data for estimation of the durability and design of the roadbed thickness. GEOTRACK program applied multi-layered theory was developed for analyzing railroad track structure. GEOTRACK program is a sort of numerical analysis program which has advantage that can analysis component of track by simple method. In this study, this program was used to preform the numerical analysis by changing track conditions and roadbed conditions such as tie, reinforced roadbed, dynamic wheel load, Resilient modulus and so on. 지오텍스타일 백을 이용한 철도노반 보강효과 분석 (Analysis of Geotextile Bag Reinforcing Effect on Railway Roadbed)

  • 본 연구에서는 지오텍스타일 백으로 보강된 철도노반 강화효과를 확인하기 위하여 실대형실험 및 2차원 평면 수치해석을 수행하였다. 선정된 지오텍스타일 백 축조노반위에 모사열차하중을 고려한 정적하중을 재하하여 무보강 노반과의 비교를 통해 정량적인 보강효과 및 성능을 평가하였으며, 2차원 평면 수치해석은 실대형실험과 동일 조건하에서 범용 FEM 프로그램인 Pentagon 2D를 이용하여 수치해석을 수행하여 비교 분석하였다. 각각의 실대형실험 및 2차원 수치해석결과 지오텍스타일 백의 재료특성, 인장특성, 지오텍스타일 백간의 마찰특성등에 의해 하중분산효과 및 침하저감효과를 확인하였으며, 2차원 수치해석결과가 실대형 실험결과 보다 전반적으로 작게 나타남을 확인하였다.

  • Wooden-sleeper, which has been adopted as railway turnout in Korea, has created many problems such as short life span and increase of maintenance cost. Especially turnout on Maintenance Free slab track, which has been used in city metro, has been constructed with wooden sleeper buried in concrete roadbed due to complexity of structure. However, such problem as rapid erosion in subground makes it difficult to maintain the sleeper because of frequent replacement required. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to introduce design and construction of reinforced concrete(R.C) sleeper for turnout on the concrete roadbed to facilitate maintainability and economic construction of turnout.

  • Utilizing of the geotextile container shows several advantages such as standardized construction, factory manufactured products, the control of quality, workability. and economical point of view. Recently this technique can be applied to rehabilitate the loss of rail roadbed due to the heavy rainfall. In this study, a large-scale laboratory test were conducted with simulation of static performance on the geotextile container reinforced rail roadbed. Based on the laboratory test results, the vertical pressure distribution with respect to the depth, and settlement of rail roadbed were measured and compared test results between geotextile container reinforced case and unrein forced case. Thus, the effectiveness of reinforcement was evaluated in terms of its performance and stability.

  • The most important factor is the roadbed bearing capacity at concrete track construction. Particularly, in case of rehabilitation, it is essential to secure the uniform roadbed stiffness to prevent the irregular settlement. In this study, reinforced effect of the geotextiles is investigated which is applied to concrete track rehabilitation. The geotextiles is installed two or three layers as the condition of the ground and structure. The reinforced effect of geotextiles is confirmed by the strain gage attached on the geotextiles surface.

  • The development of both economical and consistent structure is strongly required for the whole reorganization of the railway network in Korea. Retaining wall is one of the major structures in the vicinity of the railway, which needs improving its external appearance and stability. Therefore, this study presents a new type of retaining wall, so called short-fiber composite reinforced retaining wall, as an alternative of retaining walls, which can be used for constructing the slope and roadbed soil structures. The results from real-scale test and dynamic numerical analysis for developed new one, which helps both the improvement of the external appearance and also the optimum use of the limited space near the railway, show excellent performance. On the basis of these results, it is judged that short-fiber composite reinforced retaining wall has the advantages of choosing the front wall freely and having a chance to use any low quality soil as backfill.

  • The selection of geogrid types for the use of reinforced rail roadbed is important in the design of railways. Also, the problem of the construction damage on the geogrid during construction is raised by the field engineers. Therefore, laboratory model tests were peformed to investigate the efficiency of the bearing capacity and construction damage. As a result, it was found that the bearing capacity of the rigid geogrid reinforced railroad ballast shows 1.54 times higher than that of the flexible geogrid reinforced case. In addition, there were no noticeable damage during construction.

설계수명 및 경제성을 고려한 유도상 아스팔트 궤도의 최적 단면 산정 (Optimal Section of Ballasted Asphalt Track Considering Design Lifetime and Economic Feasibility)

  • 유도상 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도(이하, 유도상 AC궤도)는 아스팔트 콘크리트 노반(이하, AC노반)의 존재에 의해 유도상 궤도에 비해 열차하중 분산효과에 의한 강화노반 두께 감소가 가능하며 누적 소성 변위도 작을 뿐만 아니라 유지관리 측면에서도 유리한 궤도 구조이기 때문에 국외에서 적용 사례가 증가하고 있다. 그러므로 유도상 AC궤도의 국내 도입을 검토하기 위해 선행 연구를 통해 수행한 AC노반 유무에 따른 거동 특성을 분석하여 현재 설계기준에 명시된 유도상 궤도의 단면과 유사한 성능을 보이는 유도상 AC궤도의 단면을 분석한 바 있으며, 실대형 정 동적 열차하중 재하 실험 결과와의 비교를 통해 해석 결과의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 본 연구에서는 선행 연구를 바탕으로 AC노반의 두께를 일정하게 하고 강화노반 두께를 변화시켰을 때에 획득된 AC노반 하면에서의 변형률을 이용하여 설계 수명을 산정하였고 각각의 단면에 대한 확률론적 LCC분석을 통해 기대 설계 수명을 만족하면서 기존 유도상 궤도와 비교하여 동등 또는 동등이상의 성능을 갖는 유도상 AC궤도의 설계 단면을 제시하였다.
