정적 신장과 고유수용성 신경근 촉진(PNF)신장기법 적용 후 슬괵근에 대한 진단 초음파를 통한 분석 (The Analysis of Ultrasonography on Hamstring after Static and PNF Stretching Protocol)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze ultrasonography and 90-90 SLR test on hamstring after both groups were applied static stretching exercise and PNF stretching exercise. Methods : For this experimental study, total 20 healthy university students, who were divided into static stretching exercise group and PNF stretching group. Each group was assessed before and after stretching(0.5 minute, 1 minute, 1.5 minutes, 2 minutes, 2.5 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 7 minutes, 8 minutes, 9 minutes, 10 minutes). Results : Total score of 90-90 SLR test was showed a significant difference between pre and post. Hamstring diameter was gradually increased to 2.5 minutes and 3 minutes, where after it was gradually decreased in static stretching exercise group. Hamstring circumference had regular interval scores before and after on PNF stretching exercise group. Conclusion : There was a different change on hamstring diameter and circumference.

전라북도 일부 지역의 청소년 식습관, 신체활동, 비만도 (Eating Behavior, Physical Activities and Obesity degree of Adolescents in a region of Jeonbuk province)

  • Purpose: This study is to investigated the eating behavior, physical activities and obesity degree of the adolescents. Methods: The subjects of research were 1,092 third year students in middle school and high school randomly chosen of N city area and L gun area in Chonbuk province. The data was collected by an anonymous questionnaire. A survey tool developed in Ministry of Health and Welfare(2005) was used to investigate eating behavior, physical activities and obesity degree of subjects. The data was analyzed with the SPSSWIN 15.0 Programs. Results: 37.2% of adolescents only had positive eating behavior. 43.4% of adolescents did regular physical exercise, 10.8% did moderate physical exercise, and 43.3% did active physical exercise. 76.6% of adolescents did muscular strength exercise. So, the majority of adolescents were doing physical exercise. The percentage of adolescents who had normal weight range was 90.6%. The percentage of over weight range was 5.2%, which was higher than the percentage of under weight range, 4.2% Conclusion: This study is a descriptive research for investigating the eating bahavior, physical activities and obesity degree of adolescents. The results provided the baseline data for improving eating behavior, and improving physical activities and relieving obesity degree in adolescence. Therefore an effective national policy must study and develope a program to establish the positive eating behavior, and to promote the physical activities, and to prevent the adolescents' obesity.

운동 여부에 따른 성인 남자의 식습관, 식행동 및 건강관심도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dietary Behaviors, and the Health of Male Adults according to Their Exercising Habits)

  • This study is conducted to compare the problems affecting dietary habits and health status between a long-term exercise group and non-exercise group of males older than 50 years. Most subjects of the two groups consider regular exercise to be the most important factor for maintaining health, and recognize hypertension as the number one concern. The most common nutritional supplement among subjects is multiple vitamins, and sleeping time range from 6~8 hours. Breakfast fasting rate was 15.9% among non-exercise group (NEG), where overeating and eating out rates were higher among exercise group (EG) when comparing to NEG. Fasting rates of breakfast, and consumption rates of milk and dairy products, vegetables such as kimchi, and fruits and fruit juices are higher among the EG. Overeating and eating out rates are lower among NEG, whereas eating rates of proteins like meat, fish, eggs, beans, fried foods, high-fat meats carbonated drinks, ice cream, and salt intakes are higher. Rates of health, dietary habits, and nutrient intakes are higher among EG. Energy intakes among the two groups were below the standard level, Vitamin $B_2$ intake is low in EG, and folic acid and calcium intakes were higher in NEG. The exercising group care more about health, eating habits and nutrient intakes, and low smoking rates are being observed. Thus, specific dietary improvement programs for adult men, are required, and it is necessary to consider the practice of nutrition education.

하타요가 운동이 폐경기 비만중년여성의 렙틴농도와 대사증후군 인자에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Hatha Yoga Exercise on Serum Leptin and Metabolic Syndrome Factors in Menopause Obese Middle-Aged Women)

  • 본 연구는 체지방률이 35% 이상인 폐경기 비만중년여성 26명을 대상으로 하타요가 운동이 체조성과 렙틴 및 대사증후군관련인자에 미치는 영향과 렙틴에 영향을 미치는 대사증후군인자들을 규명하기 위하여 하타요가 운동을 16주간 실시한 후 운동전과 후의 체조성, 렙틴 및 대사증후군인자를 측정하여 비교분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 운동 후에 하타요가집단에서 체중, 체지방률, 체질량지수, 허리둘레, 허리엉덩이둘레비 및 내장지방면적이 유의하게 감소하였고, 골격근량(SMM)은 증가하였다. 고밀도지단백 콜레스테롤(HDL-C)은 유의하게 증가하였고, 렙틴, 총콜레스테롤(TC), 중성지방(TG), 저밀도지단백 콜레스테롤(LDL-C), 인슐린, 글루코스 및 인슐린저항성지수(HOMA-IR)는 유의하게 감소하였으며, 하타요가집단의 렙틴에 영향을 미치는 대사증후군인자는 HDL-C로 나타났다. 이상과 같이 하타요가운동으로 체지방의 감량이 렙틴저항성을 개선하여 렙틴의 감소와 대사증후군인자의 개선으로 생활습관병을 예방하는 데 효과가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

줄넘기 운동 훈련이 심폐기능 항진에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Rope-skipping Exercise on the Enhancement of Cardiopulmonary Function)

  • 줄넘기 운동의 신체 단련 효과를 측정하기 위하여 사병 9명에게 9주 동안 규칙적으로 줄넘기 운동을 시키면서 심폐기능의 변화를 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 효과를 측정하기 위해 부하한 운동은 줄넘기, 40 cm 및 45 cm 높이의 계단운동이었다. 1) 심장박동수는 단련에 의해 안정시와 운동후 회복기 전 시간대를 통해 매우 유의하게 감소하였으며 효과는 단련 시작 1주후부터 나타났다. 2) 단편으로 수축기 동맥혈압은 안정시와 회복기 전 시간대에서 거의 유사하게 감소하였는데 이러한 효과는 단련 한달경부터 나타났다. 3) 회복기의 호흡회수는 단련에 의해 별 변화가 없었으나 단지 줄넘기 운동 회복 초기에만 유의하게 감소하였다. 4) 심폐기능 상의 단련 효과는 검사시 부하하는 운동량이 경할수록 더욱 뚜렷하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 9주간의 줄넘기 운동으로 심폐기능 특히 심장순환계 기능에 뚜렷한 향상이 온다고 할 수 있겠다.

임산부 체조 참여가 신체평가 및 임신스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Regular Participation in Pregnant Exercise on the Body-esteem and Pregnancy Stress)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 임산부의 임산부 체조 참여에 따른 신체평가 및 임신 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 있으며 연구대상은 2009년 현재 서울 강북지역에 거주하면서 임신을 한 20세에서 39세 사이의 성인여성을 대상으로 임산부 체조 참여자 49명, 비참여자 51명 총 100명을 대상으로 하였으며 SPSS Windows 15.0 Version을 이용하여 분석 목적에 따라 전산처리 하였으며 자료분석을 위하여 본 연구에서 사용할 분석기법은 빈도분석(Frequency), 요인분석(factor analysis), 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), t-test, 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA) 및 사후분석(Scheffe), 중다회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통한 구체적인 통계분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 임산부들의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 신체평가 및 임신스트레스의 차이는 부분적으로 나타났다. 둘째, 임산부들의 임산부 체조 참여유무에 따른 신체평가 및 임신스트레스의 차이는 부분적으로 나타났다. 셋째, 임산부들의 신체평가가 임신 스트레스에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

안면홍조 증상으로 치료 중인 갱년기 여성에서 일반적 특성 및 생활 습관과 갱년기 측정 지표들간의 상관성 연구 (A Study on Relations among General Characteristics, Lifestyle Habits, and Menopausal Symptoms Measurement Indicators during Treatment for Hot Flush in Menopausal Women)

  • Objectives: To understand relations general characteristics, lifestyle habits including smoking, alcohol habit, exercise, eating habit and menopausal symptoms measurement indicators during treatment for hot flush in menopausal women. Methods: The participants were 159 women (45~60 yr) who were not currently on hormone therapy, and had reached hot flash scores of 10 or higher. The evaluating indexes of this trial are hot flush score, hot flush visual analogue scale(VAS), Hot flush consistence time, sweating visual analogue scale(VAS), Menopause Rating Scale(MRS), Menopause-specific quality of life questionnaire(MENQOL), Kupperman's Index. Results: 1. When the participants divided according to body mass index(BMI), overweight group showed a high score in all indicators. Therefore, obesity can aggravate the symptoms of menopause. 2. When the participants divided according to drinking habits, Hot flush consistence time of non-alcohol group showed a statistically significant difference. However, the sample size is uneven. Additional studies will be needed. 3. When the participants divided according to eating habits, Hot flush consistence time of regular group showed a statistically significant difference. However, the sample size uneven. Additional studies will be needed. 4. When the participants was divided depending on whether exercise, non-exercise group showed a high score in all indicators. Thus, exercise will be able to improve menopausal symptoms. Conclusions: Improvement of obesity and exercise will be able to improve menopausal symptoms.

스마트폰 앱을 활용한 동료지지가 유방암 생존자의 건강행위와 체질량지수에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Utilizing Smartphone Application Peer Support on Health Behavior and Body Mass Index among Breast Cancer Survivors)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of utilizing Smartphone Application Peer Support (SAPS) on health behavior and body mass index (BMI) among overweight or obese breast cancer survivors (BCS). Methods: A nonequivalent control group with a non-synchronized design was utilized and 36 participants (experimental group 14, control group 22) were recruited from August 2017 to September 2018. Participants were 40~65 years old, overweight or obese, had completed primary cancer treatment within the 12 months prior to the study, and had not done regular exercise during the last 6 months. The 3-month SAPS consisted of exercise and diet education (once p/2 weeks), peer support (once p/week), and self-monitoring using smartphone applications (5 times p/week). All participants underwent assessments at baseline, right after SAPS, and at 3 months after SAPS. Data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA. Results: At the completion of SAPS significant differences were found between groups in motivation for exercise (t=-3.24, p=.005), physical activity (t=-4.15, p<.001), total calorie intake (t=3.42, p=.002), calories from fat (t=-3.01, p=.005), intake of vegetables (t=-2.83, p=.008), and BMI (t=5.21, p<.001). Significant differences in BMI (t=4.13, p<.001) remained up to 3 months after SAPS completion. No significant differences was shown between groups in self-efficacy for exercise, either immediately after or 3 months after SAPS. Conclusion: The SAPS has the potential to improve motivation for exercise, health behavior, and BMI of BCS. However, special efforts are required to encourage participants to complete the intervention and maintain long-term effects for future trials.

12주간 운동 프로그램이 노인의 인지기능, 불안 및 생활 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Exercise Program on Cognitive Function, Depression, and Life Satisfaction in Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 요양원에 입소한 노인을 대상으로 12주간의 운동프로그램 실시가 인지기능, 우울과 불안 및 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 S시 H요양원에 입소한 노인 60명이며, 정신상태 판별검사와 노인 우울척도, 불안 측정, 생활 만족도를 설문조사하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 t-검정(paired t-test)을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 연구대상자의 인지기능, 우울과 불안 및 생활만족도 모든 요인에서 12주간의 운동프로그램 실시 후 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 결론적으로 규칙적인 운동프로그램은 노인의 정신상태 인지기능과 우울, 불안 및 생활만족도에 긍정적인 효과를 나타낸다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 장기요양시설에서의 노인들에게 적절한 운동의 형태와 프로그램은 반드시 필요하다고 사료된다.
