본 연구는 전남 여천시에 입지한 여천산단을 사레로 공업단지의 입지가 지역변화에 미친 영향을 고찰하였다. 여천산단은 1970년대 초반 국가주도의 공업개발계획의 일환으로 건설되어 우리나라의 대표적인 석유화학공업단지로 성장하였다. 여천산단의 입지는 지역의 인구성장과 도시발전 그리고 지역의 산업구조와 고용구조 변화에 커다란 영향을 미쳤다. 여천산단의 입지로 인하여 여천지역의 경제구조는 농수산업 중심에서 제조업 중심으로 개편되었고, 지역의 제조업 구성에서 석유화학 관련제조업이 매우 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 또한 여천산단의 입지가 지역내 고용 및 산업구조에 미친 영향을 분석하기 위해 변이할당분석과 지역성장률 시차분석을 실시한 결과, 제조업과 건설업이 1987년 이후 지역의 고용성장에 커다란 파급효과를 제공한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 여천산단의 입지는 여천시뿐만 아니라 인접한 여수시와 여천군의 경제구조변화에도 영향을 미친 것으로 밝혀졌다.

본 연구는 우리나라 지역의 산업 다양성 및 혁신역량을 진단하고 자생적 지역발전을 위한 우선순위 설정 방식에 대해 논의한다. 1990년대 후반 이후 수도권과 비수도권 간의 경제적 격차를 줄이기 위한 지역발전정책이 다각도로 시도되었지만, 지역의 산업 특성 및 혁신역량을 고려한 발전전략 수립은 미흡하였다. 기술과 산업의 고도화 및 다변화에 따라 지역은 특정 산업에 특화하는 전략에서 벗어나 경제 충격에 대비하기 위한 전략적 다각화를 모색해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 지역의 산업 다양성을 무관다양성(unrelated variety)과 연관다양성(related variety) 지표를 이용하여 특성화한다. 다양성 지표는 수도권-비수도권 간, 제조업-서비스업 간 상이한 양태를 보이며, 이는 지역발전에서 산업적 특성을 고려해야 할 필요성을 제기한다. 마지막으로 다양성 지표와 혁신역량지표를 두 축으로 하여 우리나라 시군구 지자체의 현 상황을 네 가지로 유형화하고 각 유형에 맞는 지역발전정책 우선순위를 제안한다.

The United Kingdom and the United States are designating and implementing enterprise zones for the purpose of promoting the revitalization of the local economy. However, there are still mixed views on the effectiveness of the Enterprise Zone's policies. At this point, the purpose of this study is to look at policies in the form of enterprise zones in the country and see how these policies affect the revitalization of the local economy. As a result of the analysis, the areas designated as enterprise zones were becoming more economically vitalize than those that were not. In addition, it was analyzed that redundant designation of enterprise zones has a greater effect on regional economic revitalization than single designation.

Recently, social conflicts have intensified, and a diverse society is to the fore as a solution to social problems. In rural areas, the transition to a diverse society progressed due to population outflow, changes in the agricultural labor force, and an increase in multicultural families. In this study, regional social diversity in Gyeongsangnam province was measured using the neighborhood diversity index and the Simpson index. In addition, the relationship with the regional economy at the county level and township level was analyzed. As a result, it was found that the Gun regions have higher social diversity than the Si regions. and the city area showed a larger index value for residential segregation.

As economy and population have been growing, air pollution problems both in local and regional scale came to the surface in East Asia in last decades. In addition to urban problems, regional air pollution is also becoming a big issue international concern. Urban and regional air pollution issues are closely related and we have to tackle the problem by understanding underlying scientific reality and taking a strategic approach to mitigation. (omitted)

The article examines the formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants. Based on the study of different scientific views on the nature and properties of potential-forming space through the study of approaches to understanding the concept of "space" clarified the complexity and multifaceted nature of the phenomenon and found that its characteristics are relevant to the industrial development model. It is revealed that the leading modern trends related to the spread of globalization and regionalization, rapid development of information and communication technologies, diffusion of innovations accompany the transition from industrial to post-industrial development and its development, which leads to new development: changes production, nature and relations between business entities, etc. It is proved that under such conditions, the region as a key element of the economic system, acquires a leading role in achieving sustainable and balanced development. These processes significantly affect the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants, leading to the need for its transformation and change in accordance with modern realities, which is reflected in thorough research on the formation of scientific paradigm based on the formation of its theoretical foundations and methodological basis. This study reveals the essence, role, functions, structure, process of formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants. It is proved that the formation of the modern scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants occurs in the context of building a post-industrial model of development, accompanied by consideration of the region as a spatial object territories from the physical plane to the spatial environment in which the development of human capital, innovation and self-development of the region. Taking into account the above, the article outlines the prerequisites and factors of formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants.

본 연구의 목적은 토정 이지함과 걸인청이라는 역사문화자원을 토대로 충남 아산지역의 정체성 확립과 지역경제 활성화 등에 기여할 수 있는 지역축제의 추진 방안을 논의하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구 방법론적으로 이지함과 걸인청 관련 역사적 자료와 설화의 내용을 총체적 관점에서 접근하여 콘텐츠 자원으로서의 가치를 창출하고자 노력했다. 이지함과 관련된 당대 문헌자료와 설화들을 살펴보면, 그는 시대를 초월한 기인이면서 동시에 백성의 구제와 자활, 국가의 균형적 발전을 위해 혁신적인 시대정신과 경제관념을 평생 동안 실천했던 지식인이다. 그러므로 본 연구를 통해 논의된 이지함의 걸인청을 기반으로 하는 지역축제는 그가 추구했던 시대정신과 사상을 현대적인 맥락에서 시공간적으로 구현하고 계승하는 문화콘텐츠 형식이자 장치적인 의미와 가치가 있다는 점을 알 수 있다.

본 논문은 2010년 29부문 광양만권특화 지역산업연관모형을 구축하여 광양만권 해운항만산업의 지역경제에서의 위치, 지역산업과의 연관성 그리고 지역경제에의 파급효과를 분석한다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 2010년 기준 국가 해운항만산업 대비 광양만권 해운항만산업의 생산액, 부가가치액, 취업자의 비중은 각각 약 10.8%, 6.06%, 2.92%이며, 지역 전체산업 대비로는 각각 약 1.96%, 2.28%, 2.44%이다. 국가 총 항만서비스 수요 대비 광양만권 해운항만서비스 수요의 비중은 약 6.4%이다. 입지분석결과, 생산액 기준, 부가가치 기준, 그리고 종사자 수 기준 모두에서 해운항만산업은 광양만권 서비스부문 중 유일하게 전국대비 특화도가 1보다 큰 부문으로, 지역의 서비스부문은 해운항만산업에 특화된 산업구조를 가지고 있다. 한편, 해운항만산업은 지역주력제조업과 지역의 주요 생산자서비스업과 높은 연관성을 가지고 있다. 특히, 석유 및 화학은 해운항만산업과 전후방연관성이 모두 높으며 1차금속은 전방연관성이 높다. 도소매 및 기타운수 보관은 해운항만산업과 전후방 연관성이 모두 높으며, 금융 보험, 부동산, 사업서비스 등은 후방연관성이 높다. 수요 및 공급측면에서 종합적으로 분석한 광양만권 해운항만산업의 지역경제 파급효과는 약 6조 원의 생산유발효과, 약 2조5천억 원의 부가가치유발효과, 약 1만 6천 명의 취업유발효과 등으로 광양만권 지역경제 총 생산의 약 4%, 총 부가가치의 약 5.8%, 그리고 총 취업자의 약 6.7%가 해운항만산업과 연관되어 있다.

본 연구는 세계화시대에 적실한 지역연구방법론을 새롭게 모색하기 위하여, 지리학에서 개발된 다양한 지역연구방법론을 검토하고, 그 가운데 세계화 현상을 이론적으로 설명해주는 세계체제론에 기초한 세계체제론적 지역지리학의 내용을 자세히 살펴보았으며, 아울러 그것이 세계화시대에 보다 적실한 지역연구방법론이 될 수 있도록 그 문제점을 보완하여 수정된 세제체제론적 지역지리학을 제시하여 보았다. 수정된 세계체제론적 지역지리학에서는, 지역(역사지역)은 세제경제체제의 재생산적인 일반 메커니즘이 지역의 정치적, 경제적, 사회적 요소 또는 동인 이외에 위치적, 자연적, 문화적 요소와도 함께 작용하여 형성된다고 보았으며, 지역성은 경제적 특성에만 치중할 것이 아니라 공간적, 사회적, 문화적, 정치적 등의 특성도 분석하여 보다 종합적으로 규명될 필요가 있으며, 지역구분에서는 세계경제의 일반메커니즘에 의한 경제적 경계와 함께 정치적 경계도 동시에 고려할 필요가 있으며, 아울러 국가단위지역도 중요한 연구대상 지역으로 다루어져야 한다고 수정 제안하였다.

본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용하여 투자 및 육성지원이 지역내총생산에 미치는 영향력을 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 지역내총생산(GRDP)은 각 지역의 생산규모·지출수준·소득수준·산업구조 등을 집약적으로 내포하고 있는 지수로써, 지역경제 분석 및 국가의 정책수립에 활용하는 중요한 자료이다. 국가의 주요 국정과제를 올바르게 수행하기 위해서는 지역경제를 정확히 파악하는 것이 선행되어야 하는데, 이로 인해 최근 지역내총생산에 대한 관심이 급격히 증가하고 있다. 특히 해외투자는 투자유치국의 경제에 미치는 영향력이 상당하여, 이에 대한 많은 실증분석이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해외투자 및 국내육성지원이 지역내총생산에 미치는 영향력을 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과 전체적으로 투자와 지원이 지역내총생산에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론을 도출하였다.
