Development of transportation and communication technology has affected our daily life and has caused to separate residential places from working places. Particularly in rural areas, the life zones are incorporated into larger towns or urban areas due to their lack of cultural, social and economic infrastructures. Thus, the analysis of the depended region and the life zone is important for the planning of regional revitalization programs and related project. The purpose of this study is to propose a regional dependency model (RDM) using the origin-destination(O-D) matrix of commuters and compare it with the Nystuen & Dacey model for regional correlation. The regional characteristics are analysed and our RDM were tested using the commuting data on Seoul metropolitan area(Seoul, Gyeong-gi, Incheon) and Chungchung area. The regional correlation model can only explain the determination of regional interaction without considering the direction of regional correlation but our model can show the direction of regional dependencies.

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the regional economic impact of reverse mortgage system based on farmer's net asset of house and farmland together. The regional economic impact was estimated by using inter-regional input-output model. Major findings are as follows: 1) The result of input-output analysis shows that 49,130 million won of production effect, 20,040 million won of value added effect, and 24,759 number of employment effect, 2) Since the result shows that the elderly spend most of the reverse mortgage money for their living expenses, it seems necessary to adopt net asset based reverse mortgage system to improve and stabilize farmers' living conditions and regional economy.

The main objective of the present study is to find out which factors affect coresidence between older Korean parents and their adult children and to examine the regional patterns of the phenomenon. The 1980, 1995 and 2005 Korea census data are used to investigate the determinants of two types of parent-child coresidence. The two types are coresidence with married adult children and one with unmarried adult children. The study takes advantage of the multilevel mltinomial logit model, allowing the model to capture regional differences. Findings from the study are: (1) Korean parents' coresidence with their married adult children and one with their unmarried adult children are distinctive in their determinants; (2) variables related to wealth or economic status are positively related with possibilities of both types of coresidence; and (3) considerable regional differences in the possibility of coresidence do exist among regions in Korea.

국토계획이나 지역계획과 같은 공간계획은 사회${\cdot}$문화${\cdot}$경제적인 기능이 복합적으로 존재하는 공간인 '지역'을 대상으로 한다. 따라서 공간계획을 수립하는 일은 해당 지역의 특성과 기능에 대한 이해를 기초로 한다. 본 논문에서는 계획의 대상이 되는 국내 지역에 대한 연구가 계획수립과 갖는 관계에 관하여 논의한다. 우리나라 국토계획과 지역계획을 수립하는 데 있어 지리학, 지역학, 민속학, 인류학 등의 분야에서 이루어진 지역연구는 큰 기여를 해왔다. 이것은 크게 세가지 영역에서 확인되는데 그것은 지역구분에 의한 계획단위의 확인, 생활권 조사에 기초한 계획권역의 설정, 그리고 각 지역특성의 조사에 의한 각 지역 기능의 부여라는 면에서 이다. 과거 지역연구가 계획수립에 이처럼 큰 기여를 해왔지만 일부 부족한 점은 앞으로 보완될 수 있으리라 본다. 이것은 공간계획가와 지역연구학자 모두의 책임이다. 지역연구를 체례적으로 조직하여 계획에서 활용할 수 있는 형태로 축적하는 일이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 순수 학문적인 지역연구 이외에 표준화된 형태의 계획 지향적인 지역연구가 필요할 것이다. 계획수립은 결국 사람에 의하여 이루어지는 것이므로 지역연구학자들이 계획수립과정에 다양하게 참여할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 지역연구가 보다 활성화 되어야 할 것이며 계획마인드를 갖춘 지역연구 인력의 양성도 필요하리라 본다.

The paper deals with recent paradigm shift in German environmental policy, fundamentally modifying the German society towards a sustainable future development. Key elements of this development are forceful climate protection measures to contribute to global climate protection strategy and to fulfil international conventions, supplemented by a comprehensive strategy to promote the adaptation to climate change, the nuclear power phase out in the medium term, and innovative landscape and regional planning projects to strengthen regional identity and economic power. All this components are,complemented by a financial support program including incentives, tax reductions, and research funding.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the present state of a outdoor space planning and to analysis plan characteristics in based on regional characteristics in Housing complex plan. The analysis result of this study is as follows : first, we know that the right of regional characteristics is appearing variously every research workers. also an analysis about regional characteristics that should be considered in housing complex plan was insufficient. Second, regional characteristics can be classified into 5 factors. These are classified as a context of location, city link, life atmosphere, needs of locals and creation of image. Third, it has originality against other housing complex to graft items connected with 'U contest' on outdoor space planning. Also, it has affirmatively effected on image of Buk-gu and recognition of Dong beyn-dong and Seo beyn-dong. It is get out of the uniform design by a planning based on land and surrounding environment in arrangement and forms. Also residents have the satisfaction and pride in arrangement considering the climate of a region and security of the green space.

Purpose: The regional trauma center should be a trauma treatment center equipped with facilities, equipment, and manpower capable of providing optimal treatment such as emergency surgery to a severely traumatized patient upon arrival at the hospital. In order to establish a medical system for effective severe diseases, it is necessary to prepare architectural planning guidelines for the regional trauma centers. Methods:: Analyze the spatial configuration, and the area composition of the regional trauma center, And to provide basic data for building a more efficient regional trauma center. The spatial composition analysis divides the space into initial care, resuscitation, patient area, nursing area, diagnostic test, staff training, staff support, public, and analyzes the area and interconnection of each space. Results: The area that must be included in the regional trauma center is the resuscitation area, the patient area, the diagnostic examination area, architectural planning should be designed to enhance the interconnection of the areas. IIn addition, a regional trauma center should be planned as a separate from the existing facility so that it can be installed and operated independently. Implications: A regional trauma center should be built as a stand alone operation and the space should be planned as a more efficient route.

본 연구에서는 여러 시 군을 걸쳐 형성되는 광역차원의 탐방로 계획을 위한 탐방로의 노선설정시에 고려되어야 할 계획요소를 도출하고자 하였다. 먼저 광역 탐방로의 개념을 고찰하고 광역 탐방로 계획이 먼저 시행된 지역의 사례와 전문가 의견조사를 통하여 환경, 자원, 접근성, 안전성, 노선, 편의시설, 네트워크 형성과 관련하여 13개 계획요소를 도출하였다. 개별 계획요소별 중요도 평가를 위하여 관련 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 생태민감지역의 보호 및 기존노선의 활동 등이 높이 평가되었다. 본 계획요소는 광역차원에서 노선의 방향과 위치를 결정할 때 판단의 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Necessity of extending the local library become inevitable because of the swift increasing the volume of information and enlarging the accessibility and increasing the requirements approached to the latest information, caused by continuous development of communication techniques. But these requirements have been concentrated at the quantitative growth to some extent such as an unique and mammoth library at an region or some few independent libraries, never to be considered enough for the users' convinience so that these locational conditions impede the utilization of library As to this matter, this is a basic research what's the best selection of arrangement for establishing public libraries in the future according to the planning regional area and this is the purpose to present a standard of planning regional area in consideration with user's easyaccesibility and also the facilities selecting activities of user's character and set up a planning the basic data about facilities arrangement and space scale before unfolding it's own public service activities of public library as the role of the regional and social information center
