With swelling of Chinese Economic scale, the competitive environment is swinging over the north-east Asia countries, Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan. As the result of this circumstance, each countries in this area has been reformed their industries. According to the expanding in ocean logistic. The trends of competition on Hub port is looking forward much more severe year after year to preoccupy in logistics competitive within this Area. On the other hand, considering competitive environment & swelling of Chinese Economic scale, the structural reforms are imperative in korea. Korea have to convert the traditional sects into new high added value sects. In these trends, provincial government also should look for the plan for reinforcement of Regional competitiveness. The focus of this study is to look for the reinforcement methods on regional competitiveness of Gyeongnam Provincial Government. First, competitive industries in Gyeongnam, and second, Masan Free Trade Zone will be surveyed from data. Finally, the effects of New Hub port developing in Pusan-Jinhae will be discussed.

With the globalization of economy, there is keen competition among countries to be a logistics hub and companies are striving to be first in establishing logistics system centering on advantageous sites, especially airport and seaports, to perform supply, production and distribution. Gwangyang port has been designated as Free Economy Zone. This paper analyzes many problems and presents various measures to activate Gwangyang port as follows regional economy to promote Gwangyang Free Economy Zone, governmental support, introduction & logistics functions, early development of the hinterland, investment attraction into the area and diversified promotion & marketing activities.

선진 외국인 투자기업 유치를 통해 수출진흥, 고용증대, 기술향상의 추구와 지역사회개발촉진을 위해 설치된 익산자유무역지대는 1980년대 중반 이후 외국인 투자업체, 수출, 고용이 감소되면서 그 기능은 크게 약화되어 수출자유지대로서의 존재가치가 무의미한 실정이다 익산자유무역지대의 기능의 약화 요인은 적지선정에 있어 수출자유지대의 기능 활성화를 위해 필요한 입지요인과 지역이 지니고 있는 입지여건을 고려하지 않고 선정됨으로서 설립초기부터 입지상의 문제가 내재되어 있었다. 또한 현재의 노동집약적인 지역산업구조는 저임금에 기초한 노동집약적 업체의 집적지라는 부정적인 인식으로 작용하여 기술집약적인 첨단산업으로의 자유무역지대의 산업구조 개편에 어려움을 주고 있다. 그리고 정책의 일관성 부족으로 인한 협소한 부지면적과 부족한 확장공간은 기업의 집적효과와 규모의 경제를 약화시켰으며, 열악한 입지여건을 개선시키고 지역의 동태적 비교우위를 창출하려는 정부의 정책과 의지부족은 외국인 투자기업의 투자 유인력을 약화시키고 있다.

본 연구는 인천 게임산업단지 조성을 통한 경제적 파급효과를 분석하는데 있다. 게임산업은 문화콘텐츠 산업으로서 큰 잠재가능성을 가지고 있어, 발전에 대한 당위성이 높다는 다양한 의견을 가지고 있음에도 불구하고, 이에 대한 경제적 파급효과를 분석한 사례는 거의 없는 실정이었다. 따라서 본 연구는 이를 선험적으로 분석하는 측면에서 연구에 대한 의의를 가질 수 있다. 이의 분석을 위해 인천경제자유구역내에 게임산업단지를 설립하는 경우를 가정하고 건설부문, 게임관련 제조업 및 게임관련 서비스업을 토대로 지역산업연관분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 게임산업이 지역 및 국가에 미치는 중요성을 직접적으로 파악할 수 있으며, 향후 이와 관련한 연구의 방향에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이다.

이 연구에서는 중앙지와 지역일간지가 인천경제자유구역 개발 뉴스를 어떻게 보도했으며, 이 과정에서 언론이 어떤 방식으로 역할을 했는지를 살펴보았다. 중앙지와 지역일간지 간에 현실 재구성, 뉴스보도 가치 등의 차이점을 발견하는데 주력했다. 보도방식은 고전적인 형식에 최근 경향을 적절히 반영하고 있음이 확인됐다. 지역 현안을 바라보는 조선일보의 시각은 찬 반의 명확한 태도에서 벗어난 중간자적 입장을 취했으며 반면 경인일보는 감시자의 입장에 서 있었다. 즉 전국을 취재 권역으로 한 중앙지는 지역 이슈에 대해 관망적인 자세를 보였고, 해당 지역을 중심으로 기사를 작성하는 지역일간지는 적극적인 보도 태도를 취했다. 이런 뉴스구성 태도는 실제 지면으로 이어지는 기준인 뉴스가치에도 그대로 반영됐다. 조선일보는 정치적 영향성에, 경인일보는 문화적 유사성에 집중하고 있었으며, 인천경제자유구역 개발 뉴스는 매체 간 구분 없이 대체적으로 경제적 중요성과 인간적 흥미성은 높았고 선정성 및 규범적 일탈성은 낮았다.

The purpose of the present study is to provide policy implications for successful development of the metropolitan economic zone in Korea followed by in-depth case studies on the US Metropolitan Economic Region. This study looked into diverse experiences of the US mega regions investigating their key strategies, requirements and standards, etc. Urban areas in the US are designated based on CBSA, a standard for statistical area since 1950. The US has a clear standard to define rural and suburban area and is trying to reflect urban structural changes including suburbanization. The US annexation system is relatively simple to operate. Furthermore, the system helps the growth of rural areas by gradually incorporating rural areas into urban areas. We found that action plans of the US mega regions facilitate strategic growth and development for balanced territorial development, incorporating multi-dimensional and comprehensive approaches. We also found that the US mega regions are designated with regard to the local natures. Couple of policy implications were extracted from the US experiences. First, since the construction of mega regions in Korea concerns less on the inter-regional connections with other regions, we need to incorporate diverse standards to divide the regions with respect to the spatial and local characteristics. Second, local governments should collaborate with each other for successful economic development of the metropolitan economic zones. Administrative districts renovation can be a immediate and effective solution to facilitate the collaboration. We recommended to consider consolidating administrative areas to construct successful metropolitan economic zones.

Busan migmatitic gneisses in the northeastern margin of the Ogcheon zone have been studied petrologically in order to clarify their origin. Petrochemical and mineralogical studies show that the gneisses are Precambrian basemental paragneisses and the rocks were migmatized more intensively than the Bagdalryeong gneisses which have been known to constitute the basemental gneisses of Ogcheon zone. K-Ar biotite isotopic ages are $150.79{\pm}3.37Ma$ in Busan migmatitic gneiss and $191{\pm}4.27Ma$ in Bagdalryeong gneisses. These ages seem to be isotopic homogenised ages. Progressive regional metamorphisms are predominent in the studied area showing greenschist facies, epidote amphibolite facies and amphibolite facies toward N-W direction.

1990년대 이후 세계경제흐름의 한 가지 특징으로 개방화 및 지역경제통합의 확대를 꼽을 수 있다. 이로 인해 세계경제권은 유럽연합(EU)을 중심으로 하는 유럽경제권, 미국을 중심으로 하는 아메리카 경제권, 그리고 최근에 급부상하고 있는 중국을 중심으로한 동북아 경제권이라는 삼극체제로 재편되고 있다. 이러한 세계경제의 조류와 동북아의 현실 그리고 사상 최대의 항만개발 프로젝트를 수행하고 있는 중국과 자국항만의 경쟁력 회복을 위해 획기적인 항만정책을 도입하고 있는 일본의 움직임 상황을 감안할 때 우리나라도 이에 대한 선도적, 능동적 대책마련이 절실하고 시급한 과제라고 사료된다. 본 연구는 문헌연구의 방법을 통해서 먼저 Hub-Port의 개념과 조건을 제시하고, 동북아 경쟁국의 Hub-Port 발전전략을 논술하며, 이를 위해서 부산항과 일본의 혼슈(시모노세키항)와 규수(키타규수항) 사이에 위치하는 한 일해협경제권의 발전 잠재력과 전략적 협력을 통한 한 일 공동 발전을 모색하는 것이 본고의 목적이다.

본 연구의 목적은 관광자원의 지역경제 활성화 방안에서 관광자원, 관광정책 그리고 지역경제 활성화간의 상관관계를 분석하여 관광정책의 방향성을 제시하는데 있다. 설문조사는 2010년 7월 1일부터 30일까지 충청지역과 경상도지역의 국 공립 연구원 전문가를 대상으로 실시하여 최종 283부의 연구샘플이 수집되었고, 통계 처리는 SPSS 15.0과 AMOS 6.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지역관광자원이 풍부할수록 지원제도와 유치전략에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 지원제도는 유치전략에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 관광정책이 지역경제 활성화에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었으며, 유치전략에 의한 효과보다 지원제도에 의한 간접적 영향이 더 큰 것으로 확인 되었다. 그러나 관광자원이 지역경제 활성화에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 의외로 기각되었는바, 우수한 지역관광자원의 보유와 무관하게 관광정책이 구체적으로 시행되지 않으면 지역경제에 무익하다는 것을 입증하고 있다. 따라서 정부는 관광특구, 지역축제, 문화재의 지정 등을 통한 관광자원의 지속가능한 개발과 패키지화를 추구하되, 개발 및 선정기준의 업그레이드와 지속적인 평가관리를 통해 지자체에 의한 남발과 중복투자를 막고 관광부문의 질적 발전을 유도해야 할 것으로 보이며, 5+2광역경제권이 출범한 상황에서 관광분야의 광역연계협력사업이나 초광역적 연계협력사업을 적극적으로 시도하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to classify the regional structure of Pusan based on socio-economic phenomena in 1979 and 1991, and to analyze correlations between the regional structure change and traffic demend. To formalize the land-use by each zone, the Principal Component Analysis were performed by using 15 socio-sconomic variables. As a result of the analysis, five land-use factors(i.e., official, residential, commercial, manufactural, and other functions) in 1979 and four factors(i. e., residential, 3rd industrial, manufactural, and other functions) in 1991 were extracted as main regional structure components. It was proved that there is strong correlations between the regional structure change and traffic demand by using Quantification Theory II and also by testing correlation coefficient.
