This paper proposes the novel investment priority decision method for distribution facilities considering the potential failure rate and the influence of customer caused by faults in distribution networks. The Proposed method decides the investment priority of the facilities combining, by the fuzzy rules, the KEPCO's priority decision for investment and the priority decision considering SAIFI(System Average Interruption Frequency Index) and SAIDI(System Average Interruption Duration Index). To verify the performance of the proposed method, these works utilized the projects for weak facility reinforcement planned in KEPCO in the Busan region in 2003 and 2004. The evaluation results showed that the reliability of the KEPCO in the Busan region using the proposed method can be enhanced more than using the conventional KEPCO's method.

본 논문에서는 AWGN 채널에서 특정 판정영역 내에 수신된 샘플들을 이용해 DD(Decision Directed) 방식으로 SNR을 추정하는 경우에 발생하는 SNR 추정 오차에 대해서 분석하였다. 수신기에서 특정 성좌점에 해당하는 기준 판정영역에 수신된 샘플들로 이상적인 수신점과의 에러벡터를 이용하여 SNR을 추정하는 경우, 다른 판정영역에 대응되는 송신심볼이 잡음의 영향으로 기준 판정영역으로 넘어온 샘플들까지 포함되므로, 추정된 신호 성좌점의 평균치가 이동함으로써 DD방식의 SNR 추정이 부정확하게 이루어진다. 이러한 현상을 변형된 확률밀도 함수를 기반으로 설명하고 실제 SNR과 추정 SNR과의 오차를 유도하여 정량적으로 분석하였다. 또한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 SNR 추정오차가 이론적으로 유도된 SNR 추정오차와 일치하고, 제안한 보정기법을 통해 SNR 추정 성능을 크게 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

본 논문은 결정 트리(Decision tree) 구조를 기반으로 한 표정 인식 방법을 제안한다. ASM(Active Shape Model)과 LBP(Local Binary Pattern)를 통해, 표정 영상들의 국소 특징들을 추출한다. 국소 특징들로부터 표정들을 잘 분류할 수 있는 판별 특징(Discriminant feature)들을 추출하고, 그 판별 특징들은 모든 조합의 각 두 가지 표정들을 분류시킨다. 분류를 통해 얻어진 정인식의 합을 통해, 정인식 최대화 기반 국소 영역과 표정 조합을 결정한다. 이 가지 분류들을 종합하여, 결정 트리를 생성한다. 이 결정 트리 기반 표정 인식률은 약 84.7%로, 결정 트리를 고려하지 않은 방법보다, 더 좋은 인식 성능을 보였다.

Tourism has always played an important role in socio-economic development in Vietnam and in many countries around the world. Tourism is also an industry that has attracted a large number of workers in the past two decades in Vietnam in general and territories in particular. Over the past two decades, tourism in the southern Red River sub-region has created thousands of jobs for local workers and neighboring provinces. The study aims to examine the factors affecting the employment decision of workers in the tourism industry in the South Red River sub-region. Using a pilot study surveying 10 workers in three provinces to adjust the questionnaire and a sample data of 193 observations were performed. The experimental results prove that the independent variables explain 64% of the variation of the dependent variable, and other reasons can explain the rest (36%). Research results show that four factors, namely, welfare (WE), working conditions (IN), the potential for tourism development (POT), and development policy (POL) have a positive impact on the employment decision of workers. Meanwhile, the two factors that are tourism cooperation (CO)and Education (EDU), have an insignificant impact on the employment decision of workers in the southern Red River sub-region.

본 논문은 손실값을 포함하는 불완전한 데이터를 처리하는 방법에 대해 논한다. 손실값을 최적으로 처리한다는 것은 학습 데이터가 가지고 있는 정보들에서 본래값과 가장 근사한 추정치를 구하고, 이 값으로 손실값을 대치하는 것이다. 이것을 실현하기 위한 방안으로 분류기가 정보를 분류하는 과정에서 완성되어가는 결정트리를 이용한다. 다시말해 이 결정트리는 전체 학습 데이터 중에서 손실값을 포함하지 않는 완전한 정보만을 C4.5 분류기에 입력하여 학습하는 과정에서 얻어진다. 이 결정트리의 노드들은 분류 변수의 정보를 가지는데, 루트에 가까운 상위 노드일수록 많은 정보를 포함하게 되고 말단 노드에서는 루트로부터의 경로를 통해 분류 영역을 형성하게 된다. 또한 각 영역에는 분류된 데이터 사건들의 평균이 기록된다. 손실값을 포함하는 사건들은 이러한 결정트리에 입력되어 각 노드의 정보에 따라 순회과정을 통해 사건과 가장 근접한 영역을 찾아가게 된다. 이 영역에 기록된 평균값을 손실값의 추정치로 간주하고, 보상 과정은 완성된다.

Many Victims and property damage are caused in fires. In this paper, an flame detection algorithm is proposed to early alarm fires. The proposed flame detection algorithm is based on 2-stage decision strategy of video processing. The first decision is to check with color distribution of input vidoe. In the second, the candidated region is settled as fire region with activity. As a result of simulation, it is shown that the proposed algorithm is useful for fire recognition.

Here we introduce so called Reference code-weighted sum of all PN codes used in the system-. We do inner product operation between received PN code and Reference code rather than locally generated PN code in the receiver. Acquisition process can be accomplished by only one inner product during full period of PN code. It's essential innovation against present method which can be viewed successive hypothesis test by inner product for entire candidate PH codes set. Well -defined decision region makes it possible. We suggest the. criterion fur designing the decision region and find a condition for weight (coefficient) of Reference code.

The objective of this study is to investigate a priority and selection of agricultural specialization items from Daegu and Gyeongbuk region by using analytical tools such as, the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and the Scoring Method. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Five major items were selected for each region based on Daegu and Gyeongbuk regional agricultural performances. 2) The results of AHP analysis, Daegu and Gyeongbuk's agricultural experts evaluated the weight of three decision-elements(objectiveness 0.35, efficiency 0.341, identity 0.309) and seven decision-elements. 3) Results of AHP and Scoring Method analysis, Investigated a priority of agricultural specialization 3 items in 25 cities and districts Daegu and Gyeongbuk regional agricultural performances. 4) Finally, The results of this study will provide basic information on agricultural specialization policy in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region.

In this paper, a method of the decision of the road direction for ALV(Autonomous Land Vehicle) road following by region-based segmentation is presented. The decision of the road direction requires extracting road regions from images in real-time to guide the navigation of ALV on the roadway. Two thresholds to discriminate between road and non-road region in the image are easily decided, using knowledge of problem region and polygonal approximation that searches multiple peaks and valleys in histogram of a road image. The most likely road region of the binary image is selected from original image by these steps. The location of a vanishing point to indicate the direction of the road can be obtained applying it to X-Y profile of the binary road region again. It can successfully steer a ALV along a road reliably, even in the presence of fluctuation of illumination condition, bad road surface condition such as hidden boundaries, shadows, road patches, dirt and water stains, and unusual road condition. Pyramid structure also saves time in processing road images and a real-time image processing for achieving navigation of ALV is implemented. The efficacy of this approach is demonstrated using several real-world road images.

본 연구의 목적은 지역마케팅이 국내외 기업유치에 미치는 영향 요인을 살펴보는데 있다. 선행연구 및 과거사례를 근거로 본 연구를 위한 가설을 설정하였고, 도시태도 및 투자결정에 영향을 미치는 변수를 경영환경, 생활환경, 시장성, 투자지원환경으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 시장성과 투자지원환경 도시태도와 투자결정에 정의(+)의 결과를 보였으며, 도시태도 역시 투자결정에 정의(+)결과를 보였다.
