압축기소음과 냉장고소음의 관계 규명 (압축기 정음화에 의한 냉장고 정음화) (The search for relations betwwen compressor noise and refrigerator noise)

  • Noise radiated from refrigerator is mainly decided by compressor noise. If the compressor is silent then the refrigerator could be silent. But In some case this tendency is not true. Because there is uncertain relations between compressor noise and refrigerator noise. And the refrigerator noise is affected by the cycle-matching in the refrigerating system using compressor. In this research it was studied that the compressor noise which didn't affect some refrigerator models could affect other refrigerator models. The methods which could reduce the refrigerator noise was studied and ultimately the methods which could change the characteristics of compressor noise was presented.

  • Numerical simulation has been made on the performance of an oil free air compressor for automotive electronic air suspension system. Calculation results on the flow rate at various air supply pressures were reasonably well compared to the experimental data. With the aid of the computer simulation program, parametric study on the compressor design parameters has also been carried out for the compressor performance improvement: Increase in the discharge port diameter or discharge valve stiffness was found to be effective to increase the flow rate per unit compressor input for the present compressor model.

  • High pressure, pressure ratio, refrigerating effect, heat transfer from the condenser and the power of the compressor etc. of a self-made refrigeration equipment for R-12 are investigated when R-12 and R-134a are used as the coolants. The comparison between the performance for R-12 and that for R-134a is made. As a result, R-134a is better than R-12 in the view of high pressure, refrigerating effect and the coefficient of performance and vice versa in the view of pressure ratio, exit gas temperature from the compressor and heat transfer from the condenser.

  • Orbiting scroll mass center is different from the basic circle's for the normal involute profile. As for the orbiting scroll balanced conditions, the dynamic modeling are set up. The influences on sealing, reaction forces between the moving elements and forces from the moving elements to the compressor frame are analyzed in this paper. The simulation and experiment results are presented.

  • This paper discusses the applicability of a compact rolling piston refrigeration compressor to portable refrigerators. The capacity of this compressor is 1 cc. Using a 12 V BLDC motor, the compressor is driven from 2500 rpm to 6000 rpm. The height of the compression module and motor is approximately 56 mm, and their weight is approximately 374 g. We confirmed the effective operation of the compressor components by evaluating their compression and cooling performance.

  • An experimental study was conducted on the effect of compressor capacity control range of heat pump on the seasonal energy efficiency ratio with variation of the maximum and minimum compressor input frequencies. To obtain seasonal energy efficiency ratio, steady state test at the maximum, minimum and intermediate compressor speed and cyclic test at the minimum compressor speed should be conducted. Maximum input frequency was varied to 95Hz, 105Hz, and 115Hz, and the minimum input frequency was varied to 35Hz, 45Hz, and 55Hz. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio increased as the input frequency of the compressor decreased. The maximum input frequency had only slight effects on the SEER.

  • Thermodynamic modeling of low-pressure scroll compressor was developed by combining continuity and energy conservation equation. Suction gas heating was considered using energy balance inside the low pressure shell. Pressure, temperature and mass of refrigerant-22 as a function of orbiting angle were calculated by solving the governing equations using fourth order Rung-Kutta scheme. Motor efficiency was taken by experiments with a variation of frequency. The developed model was applied to the analysis of an inverter driven scroll compressor with a variation of frequency, pressure ratio and operating conditions. The model was verified with the experimental results at the same operating conditions. The developed model was adequate to predict performance of the inverter driven scroll compressor as a function of operating conditions. Calculated parameters from the model were discharge temperature, mass flow rate, power input, COP, and thermodynamic properties with respect to orbiting angle. To enhance the performance of a scroll compressor, it is essential to diminish leakage at low frequency level and improve the mechanical efficiency at high frequency level.
