유휴간호사를 위한 재취업 교육과정이 간호전문직관과 간호업무 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Refresher Program for Inactive Nurses on Nursing Professionalism and Nursing Clinical Self-Efficacy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of a refresher program for inactive nurses on nursing professionalism and nursing clinical self-efficacy. Method: A pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest was used. The refresher program consisted of 150 hours and was provided to inactive nurses who were recruited from a refresher program at S institute. Eighty inactive nurses participated in the study. Data were collected between June and November 2009. To evaluate the effectiveness of the refresher program, researchers explored participants' nursing professionalism and nursing clinical self-efficacy through self-evaluation questionnaire before and after the refresher program. Result: The refresher program was effective in increasing nursing clinical self-efficacy for inactive nurses (p<.001). However, no significant increase was found in nursing professionalism after completing the program. Conclusion: The refresher program had a positive impact on increasing the nursing clinical self-efficacy for inactive nurses.

전문성이 강화된 지속가능한 요양보호사 제도 연구 (Study for a Sustainable Program of the Professional Long-term Care Workers)

  • 본 연구는 요양보호사의 전문성 강화와 중장기적으로도 지속가능한 양성교육체계 논의모형을 하나의 사고실험차원에서 대안적으로 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저, 요양보호사 자격취득자 및 취업자의 인구사회학적 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 현행 요양보호사 양성교육과정과 병행하여 전문대학교에서 국가직무능력표준을 기반으로 한 요양보호사 양성교육과정 개설, 양성교육 의무시간 확대, 경력과 전문성이 강화된 가칭 '전문요양보호사' 제도 도입과 제공기관에서의 의무고용, 보수교육의 법정 의무화와 보험자의 보수교육강화 등으로 구성된 전문성이 강화된 지속가능한 대안적 요양보호사 양성교육체계를 제안하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 이를 실현하기 위한 정책과제들도 제시하였다.

산업안전교육의 효용성 제고방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness Raise of Industrial Safety Training)

  • Every safety and health activity relies to some extent on education and training. Through effective education and training, people learn how to recognize safety and health hazards and how to control them. Thus, in most cases education and training is the first step in an accident prevention program. In this study, we analyzed safety training course-compare with Industrial Safety & Health Act, KISCO and KISA's rules,-and applied to workplace. In the safety training of workplace on the ground of the Industrial Safety & Health Act, the ratio of periodic employee refresher training to the total training subjects is only 25% and it of supervisor training is 16.7%. The ratio of training implemented in workplace about Knowledge, Skill, Attitude is as follows Periodic update training ; 15.1% : 7.5% : 64.2% New employees training ; 15.7% : 5.9% : 58.8% Job-change training ; 32.6% : 23.2% : 39.5% Specific safety & health training : 34.8% : 8.7% : 45.6%.

일부지역 치과위생사의 의료관광에 관한 인식 조사 (A recognition study on tourism of dental hygienist in parts areas)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to suggest an effective future development direction of dental medical tourism in Korea by examining dental hygienists' perception of medical tourism and factors which are necessary to boost medical tourism. Methods : The subjects in this study were the dental hygienists who worked in Seoul. The study was conducted on 189 people who participated in refresher training, which was held in November 2010, by the Seoul Dental Hygienist Association. Self-administered questionnaire surveys were used. Results : 1. 106 people (56.1%) responded that medical tourism is "a tour to treat illness" and 73 (39.5%) responded that the introduction of medical tourism is "timely." 2. opposition against the introduction of medical tourism accounted for the highest proportion (61.6%) and the reason for it was "concern for mushrooming of untested types of medical treatment." 3. 131 people (71.6%) responded that they are willing to participate in medical treatment of medical tourism and 172 (93.0% of participants) cited "communication" as a most difficult issue. 4. Those who recognized medical tourism proved to have higher intentions to invest time and money to prepare for it (p<.002). Conclusions : In order to boost medical tourism, a unified treatment program for foreigners and training program for medical staff throughout the hospitals should be established.

Evaluation of Provider Skills in Performing Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid in the Cervical Cancer Screening Program in the Meknes-Tafilalet Region of Morocco

  • Background: This study documented the performance of providers of visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) at primary health centers, assessing their compliance with the VIA skills checklist and determinants of non-compliance, and exploring their perceptions of VIA training sessions. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among VIA providers in the $Mekn\grave{e}s$-Tafilalet region of Morocco. Structured observation of their performance was conducted through supervisory visits and multiple focus group discussions (FGDs). Results: Performance of all the recommended steps for effective communication was observed in a low proportion of procedures (36.4%). Midwives/nurses had higher compliance than general practitioners (GPs) (p<0.001). All recommended steps for VIA examination were performed for a high proportion of procedures (82.5%). Compliance was higher among midwives/nurses than among GPs (p<0.001) and among providers in rural areas than those in urban areas (p<0.001). For pre-VIA counselling, all recommended steps were performed for only 36.8% of procedures. For post-VIA counseling, all recommended steps were performed in a high proportion (85.5% for VIA-negative and 85.1% for VIA-positive women). Midwives/nurses had higher compliance than GPs when advising VIA-positive women (p=0.009). All infection prevention practices were followed for only 14.2% of procedures, and compliance was higher among providers in rural areas than those in urban areas (p<0.001). Most FGD participants were satisfied with the content of VIA training sessions. However, they suggested periodic refresher training and supportive supervision. Conclusions: Quality assurance of a cervical cancer screening program is a key element to ensure that the providers perform VIA correctly and confidently.

선원 해상생존교육 실습시설 및 장비의 적정성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Suitability of Training Facilities and Equipment used on Seafarer's Sea Survival Training)

  • STCW협약에 따른 기초안전(재)교육 및 상급안전(재)교육 등과 같은 선원 해상생존교육은 해상에서 비상상황이 발생할 경우 선원들의 생존율을 증대시켜줄 수 있는 필수교육이다. 그리고 IMO 모델코스에 따른 선원안전교육을 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 선원들이 다양한 안전장비에 대한 이론 및 실습교육이 병행되는 것이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 이 연구는 IMO 모델코스에서 요구하는 해상생존교육과정에 근거한 실습시설을 파악하고, 국내외 교육기관의 운영 실례를 바탕으로 관련 시설을 비교 분석하여 선원 안전교육시설 개선방안을 다음과 같이 마련하였다. 첫째, 해상탈출설비(슬라이드, 슈트 등) 등과 같은 최신화된 교육장비를 비치하여, 선원들이 다양한 안전장비를 직접 체험할 수 있는 교육환경을 구축해야 한다. 둘째, 조파, 풍동, 강우, 암막장치 등과 같은 해상환경 재현시설의 설치하여 학습자가 현실적인 비상상황을 직 간접적으로 체험해 볼 수 있는 교육환경의 구축해야 한다. 셋째, 체험교육, 시청각교육, 시뮬레이터 교육과 더불어 가상현실 교육장비를 통한 층위별 맞춤교육을 개발하고 확대시킬 필요가 있다.

CIPP 평가모형을 적용한 어린이집 보수교육프로그램 평가 (The Evaluation of Day Care Center In-service Education Program Using the CIPP Evaluation Model)

  • 본 연구는 어린이집 유아교사의 질적 향상에 대한 발전방향을 모색하기 위해 CIPP 평가 모형에 기반하여 어린이집 유아교사가 이수한 보수교육에 대한 평가를 실시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 충남 및 대전광역시에 소재한 어린이집에서 근무하는 유아교사 203명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 어린이집 유아교사 대상 보수교육은 목표제시와 사전분석과 같은 교육상황은 다른 평가영역보다 긍정적이었으나, 유아교사 개인요인과 같은 교육과정은 상대적으로 수정과 보완이 필요한 영역으로 평가 되었다. 유아교사 개인의 특성을 반영하지 못한 획일적인 교육은 체계적이고 효과적인 교육이 이루어지는 데 한계가 있을 수 있으므로 교사의 현장과 실태를 고려하여 계획이 이루어져야 하고 교사의 현장요구가 반영되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 어린이집 유아교사 대상 보수교육의 평가를 통해 보수교육프로그램의 실정과 추후 보다 바람직한 어린이집 보수교육이 이루어지도록하기 위한 기초자료가 될 것이며, 보수교육 내실화를 위한 유아교사의 자질 향상 프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 사료된다.

마을건강원 역할 및 업무내용에 관한 고찰 (A Review on the Role and Functions of the Village Health Worker)

  • The objective of this study is to review the role and function of the village health worker in the wake of the recent social changes in Korea. The stud}' also aimed at' elucidating' the characteristics of the village health worker organizations developed through community participation in this country. The study methods employed were: a review of literature and other existing information related to VHW's activities ; the use of Questionnaire and interview with VHW's on their activities in one selected county in 1992. The major findings obtained are as follows: 1. So far the community health care activities have been carried out by medical colleges, foreign aid agencies and religious organizations with a view to improving health care for the population in rural area. 2. The VHWs employed by the local community health services received remuneratiorin cash or in kind. However, presently no remuneration is paid to VHWs employed by the government village health projects. The training for VHWs is organized by County Health Center once a year for 1-2days regardless of pre-employment or refresher. 3. The needs of care for maternal and child health and family planning has been decline due to the decrease of the target population, but on the other hand, the needs of care by VHW for prevention of infectious diseases, health of the aging, management of geriatric diseases, prevention of poisoning of pesticides and environmental sanitation has beer increased. 4. It was felt strongly that the training for VHWs should be strengthened by means of developing a problem-solving oriented educational program in order to improve practical skills of VHWs.

학교보건사업을 통한 건강증진 사업에 대한 연구 (A Study on School Health Promotion Services)

  • The study was designed to gain necessary basic data in order to grasp the health knowledge, attitude, and practice level of students and teachers of elementary, middle and high schools. This study was conducted through interviews of 3,400 students and 1,022 teachers attending 14 different schools large, middle and small cities and rural towns during a period of nine months (from Oct. 2 1995 to Jun. 30 1996). By the results of this study, the recommendations can be summarized as follows: 1. A school health development committee should be established of 10 members: school health related teachers (physical trainers, nurses, and teachers in charge of health), parents, persons related to health administration, local medical doctors, and student reprensentatives in order to support and immplement school health development plans. 2. Like advanced countries, a health class of 2~4 hours should beplaced in middle and high schools. A nurse majoring in health from a university should be the teacher. 3. A curriculum of health should contain the following: education on health, sex, alcohol, tabacco, the misuse of the drugs, the structure and function of human body, the growth of the body, mental health, safety and emergency care, the prevention of disease, proper eating habits and nutrition, daily health life, family health education, society health, community health, environmental pollution and individual responsibility. 4. Create a school health promotion center, with a nurse's office, and a sports center which has health machines (bars, aerobics, training, twist machine, belt massage, running machine, bench press, chest waist, hack hip extension machine) as well as a physical strength measuring machine (muscular strength, alertness, flexibility, endurance, lung functions and so on), so that the teaching staff and students can use them and train their bodies. 5. Through a refresher education program, urge teachers to understand school health promotion services. 6. Regulate a standard and establish a system of monitoring the physical enviroment of the school (the height of desks and chairs, illumination facilities, ventilation facilities, safe drinking water). 7. Create a check list of health to evaluate improvement.

사회복지사의 일터에서 나타난 무형식학습 사례연구 -제주지역 종합사회복지관을 중심으로- (The Case Study on Informal Learning in the Workplace for Social Workers -Based on Social Welfare Centers in Jeju-)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지사의 일터에서 나타나는 무형식학습 방법을 분석하고, 인적자원개발 및 관리 차원에서 사회복지사의 역량강화를 위한 무형식학습 촉진방안을 탐색하는 것이 목적이다. 연구방법은 제주지역 소재 종합사회복지관에 근무하는 사회복지사 20명을 대상으로 한 질적 사례연구이다. 연구결과 사회복지사의 일터에서 일상적인 무형식학습 방법은 '상사의 피드백, 지인접촉, 회의참여, 자료 검토' 등이었다. 업무숙련 과정에서 가장 많이 활용된 무형식학습은 '상사의 피드백과 지인접촉'으로 인적자원과의 소통에 중점을 두었다. 이에, 사회복지기관에서는 사회복지사의 역량강화를 위해 보수교육과 같은 제도적인 형식학습 지원뿐 아니라 개인학습 지원, 비공식모임, 멘토링, 슈퍼비전, 동료와의 상호작용 등 무형식적 활동을 촉진하는 업무환경 조성이 필요하다는 제안을 하였다.
