Service Model Development for Art Education Platform (예술교육 매칭 플랫폼 구축을 위한 서비스 모델 개발)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the needs of art education suppliers and consumers and develop service models for an art education platform. In order to overcome the limitations of existing services limited to instructor-student customizing functions, our services take into account comprehensive relationships among various stakeholders and activities that constitute the art ecosystem Design/methodology/approach We reviewed the relevant reference and conducted interviews and surveys with stakeholders of art education market, so that identified the demand and functional priorities. Findings We identified the demand and functional priorities for customizing to as to develop major service models(i.e. service models for lessons, cubes, and businesses) for the art education platform.

A Study on the Effects of Users' Use Patterns and Their Recognition of Service Benefits on the Value Assessments of University Library Services (이용자의 이용행태 및 혜택에 대한 인식이 대학도서관 서비스의 가치 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • This research investigated the effects of university library users' use patterns and their recognition of service benefits on the magnitude of service value assessments derived from users' statements using contingent valuation method (CVM). Library users' use patterns were operationalized by the number of library visits, library website visit counts and the degree of dependence on their own libraries. User benefits variables were measured by the level of satisfaction on the benefits of library use for teaching & instruction, research & writings, and employment & external activities. University library services were divided into circulation, journal articles (domestic & foreign), reference service, user education, reading room service and WTPs for each service were measured. The results from hypotheses testing show that the number of library visits affect WTP amounts for circulation, foreign article use, reference service and user education. The degree of library dependence seems to affect WTP amounts for circulation and user education. With regards to the hypotheses related to the recognition of library service benefits, the degree of satisfaction for teaching & instruction benefits seems to affect WTP amounts for reading room use.

DGPS service analysis in the korean coastal ferry route (국내 연안 여객선 항로에서의 DGPS 서비스 분석)

  • Based on the DGPS radio wave measurement in the coast of the yellow-sea, south-sea and east-sea, the DGPS service regions in the korean coastal ferry route are analyzed in this paper. The impact of obstacles on the propagation due to the archipelago and island regions are measured and analyzed in the point of service region. The ocean-based DGPS reference stations provide the wide DGPS ocean service regions with signal strength more than $40dB{\mu}V/m$ and signal-to-noise ratio more than 10 dB. Based on the overlapping of the service regions between the DGPS reference stations, the DGPS services with good quality are provided in the coastal ferry route segments. In case of regions where the propagation obstacles are scattered, the increasingly good service can be provided under conditions of output power reinforcement and antenna efficiency enhancement.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study a scheme to ITS service which enables the data (spatial, non-spatial and image) sharing among heterogeneous system (various environment) with employing the concept of object orientedness and to show Location Reference Technique of ITS Space DB for interoperability. Data warehouse service, query object service, interface object service, and naming object service have been identified for this. In addition, a metadata management object service and persistent object service based system framework has been devised. The proposed skeletal framework would be expected to be functioning well for ITS data sharing environment and for the interoperability support.

  • Recently, as the dissemination of the Internet and development of computer network technology, Research is actively underway for realization of the next-generation computing paradigm called Ubiquitous Computing. For realization of Ubiquitous computing, The data recognized from each sensors must be collected on real-time and transferred to applied service so that they may be used as data for providing service to users. However, there are several problem for realization. First, there is no standardization of sensor metadata, interface and event definition. Second, applied service has weak point that difficult of approaching to the data. Third, none interoperability with each platform and protocol. In this paper, we designed Sensor Service Description Language based on XML to resolve problem above. This Language expresses the measurement of the sensor and Service Metadata in the form to be standardized. In addition, we have proposed and development a reference model for USN application service.

Geodetic Survey Campaigns and Maintenance Plan for KASS Reference Station Antenna Coordinates

  • The Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) system is a Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) under development to provide APV-I SBAS service in the Republic of Korea. The KASS ground segment generates correction and integrity information for GPS measurements of KASS users using the accurate positions of KASS Reference Station (KRS) antenna phase centers. For this reason, the accuracy of KRS reference points through geodetic survey campaigns is one of the important factors for providing the KASS service in compliance with the required navigation performance. In order to obtain accurate positions, two geodetic survey campaigns were performed at several reference points, such as Mark, Center of Mast at Ground Level (CMGL), and Center of Hole in Top Plate (CHTP), of each KRS site using three different survey methods, the Virtual Reference Station (VRS), Flächen Korrektur Parameter (FKP), and raw data post-processing methods. By comparing and analyzing the results, the computed coordinates of the reference points were verified and Antenna Phase Center (APC) positions were calculated using KRS Antenna Reference Point (ARP) data, and the first KASS Site Acceptance Test (SAT#1) was performed successfully using the verified APC coordinates. After the first site survey activities, the KASS operators should maintain the coordinates with the required performance such that the overall KASS navigation performance commitment is guaranteed during the lifetime of 15 years. Therefore, the maintenance plan for the KRS antenna coordinates should be developed before the commissioning of KASS operation planned after 2023. Therefore, this paper presents a geodetic survey method selected for the maintenance activities and provides the rationale for using this method.

The Effect of Reference Price Advertisements of Service on Consumers' Perception (서비스의 준거가격광고가 소비자 지각에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is as follows; First, the reference price ads are to investigate how the price cues and prior knowledge of service products have an effect on consumers' perception by the type of information. Second, this study suggests some marketing strategy guides to service marketing managers for price promotion strategy. To achieve these research goals, the hypothesis was established through reviewing the previous studies and the data collected from the experimental design. The experiment of this study was a 2$\times$2$\times$2 among the subject factorial design in which the factors were present in price cue presentation (presentation/non- presentation), the level of prior knowledge(high/low), and the type of information(positive/negative). The major findings of this research can be summarized as follows; First, there are some significant statistical differences in the consumers' perception value by level of price cues(hypothesis 1). Second, there are some significant statistical differences in the consumers' price-quality perception by level of price cues(hypothesis 2). Third, there are some significant statistical differences in the price-quality perception by the level of prior knowledge and the type of information(hypothesis 3).

  • This study aims at developing subject guides for the disabled to provide service effectively. Subject guide and service models are developed on the basis of reference, case study, and user requests analysis and information types in areas are determined. Information types for collecting and building information resources are classified into types are subordinate and also metadata by information types are developed. Subject guides based on customized services contain information, disability type, service target, life-cycle, media type, and organizations.

  • In recent years, smart technology has been applied to various information system fields. Especially, traditional library service area is changing to Smart-Library from Digital-Library. In this environment are need to library service software platform for supporting variety content, library services, users and smart-devices. Due to this, existing library service has a limitation that inhibits semantic interoperability between different heterogeneous library systems. In this paper, we propose Linked-Open-Data based smart library as an archetype of future-library system that provide a variety content and system interaction and integration of services. It is an innovative system of the cutting-edge information intensive. Therefore, we designed system environments according to various integration requirements for smart library based on Linked-Open-Data. And, we describe the functional requirements of smart-library systems by considering the users' demands and the eco-systems of information technology. In addition, we show the reference framework, which can accommodate the functional requirements and provide smart knowledge service to user through a variety of smart-devices.

  • The purpose of web-sensor is to transmit the measured sensor data and the related information to remote user. Since the user exists at remote place, the sensor information must be trustworthy, and the diagnosis for sensors should be easy to handle. To make sure of these issues, IEEE 1451 for smart sensor had been presented in the past. This research proposes the smart web sensor. The proposed smart web sensor is based on IEEE 1451.0, therefore most of the sensor interfaces are able to be used, and could realize the smart sensor by using TEDS information. Also it has the user-friendly web-service by using XML so that the remote user can handle easily the every possible information related to sensor. This research presents reference model for smart web sensor, and to prove how valuable it is, web-service using gas sensor is implemented.
