The study ecodesign process for EMU(Electrical Moto Unit) (철도차량을 위한 에코디자인 프로세스 연구)

  • Ecodesign is specific process integrating environmental aspect as a cost, quality, function into the stage of product development. Ecodesign is one of importance elements for sustainable development, a lot of company and institute have been tried to integrate environmental aspect into the stage of product development. But there's almost no endeavor to improve environmental aspects of electrical moto unit in korea. In this research, LCA was conducted for identifying environmental key issue of EMU. Also EQFD was conducted for analysis of stakeholder requirements. Combining each results from LCA and EQFD by using environmental strategy. Advancing to measure, task from environmental strategy. Finally, EMU was redesigned and we took ecology profile of redesigned EMU including eco-efficiency.

A Study on a S Box Redesign using DES Key Expansion (DES 키 확장을 이용한 S Box 재설계에 관한 연구)

  • We suggest a DES key expansion algorithm which is strong enough to overcome Differential Cryptanalysis(DC) and Linear Cryptanalysis(LC). Checking the weak points of DES, we found that the opened S box provide all information on the various kinds of attack. Using the key expansion we redesigned the S box which is not open to anybody who has no key. DC and LC can not be applied to the suggested algorithm without the redesigned S box information. With the computer experiments we show that the efficiency of this algorithm is almost the same as that of DES with respect to the crypto speed.

  • This paper presents a design and characteristics analysis of an SRM drive for EPS application. A rack mounted EPS system is considered in this paper. In the unrestricted design conditions, motor parameters are determined for sufficient torque and speed. For the smooth torque generation and simple circuit of power system, 12/8 motor drive is considered. With FEM and magnetic circuit analysis, redesigned motor is simulated to meet the requirement of specifications. Effectiveness of the suggested SRM drive for EPS application is verified by redesigned motor drive tests.

  • In this paper, we develop the intelligent digitally redesigned fuzzy controller for nonlinear systems. Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model is used to model the nonlinear systems and a continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller is designed based on the extended parallel-distributed-compensation(EPDC) method . The digital controllers are determined from existing analogue controllers. The proposed method provides an accurate and effective method for digital control of continuous-time nonlinear systems and enables us to efficiently implement a digital controller via the pre-determined continuous-time 75 fuzzy-model-based controller. We have applied the proposed method to the duffing forced oscillation system to show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.

  • In this study, in order to get the forming limit of AHSS sheet in the negative minor strain region, the shapes of die corner and drawbead are redesigned by employing the Taguchi's design of experiment method and the FEM forming simulation. With the redesigned FLD tool, the forming limit tests of automotive multi-phase(Dual Phase and Complex Phase) steel sheets which induce the normal fractures on the blank are performed.

  • A propeller as a propulsion system has been redesigned to improve performance of a target drone. The vortex theory has been applied for the propeller design method. Design variables have been the chord length along the direction of blade radius, the change of blade radius, and the geometric angle of the blade. The existing propeller has been redesigned and modified considering engine RPM change to get the improved thrust at both low and high speeds.

  • This paper presents the reasonable design parameters of a SRM for hybrid electric vehicle driving. For the design of SRM, the initial model is designed using the equivalent magnetic circuit method. In order to optimize the SRM for HEV. The initial model is redesigned by FEM with the variation of the stock length and turns of winding. This paper shows that a flat-topped current of a phase can be made from a change of the stack length and the number of turns for high efficiency, high average torque and a lower torque ripple. The change of current falling time as a variation of turn-off angle was shown by FEA. The iron loss and copper loss were described. The torque of the redesigned motor is suitable for low and high speed ranges to drive a HEV that was verified by the speed-torque curve.

  • This paper presents the reasonable design parameters of a switched reluctance motor to drive a hybrid electric vehicle by using the equivalent magnetic circuit method. The designed motor can be redesigned by using finite element analysis as a variation of the parameter for the purpose of improving performance. This paper shows that a flat-topped current of a phase can be made from a change of the lamination stack length for high average torque and a lower torque ripple. The change of current falling time as a variation of turn-off angle was shown by finite element analysis. The core loss and copper loss were described. The torque of the redesigned motor is suitable for low and high speed ranges to drive a HEV. which is verified by the speed-torque curve.

Optimum Support Pattern Design of the Tae-Gu Subway Tunnel (대구 지하철 터널의 적정지보패턴 선정에 관한 연구)

  • This is a Double-Track Railway tunnel in typical Tae-Gu black and gray shale forming part of the No.1 Line of the Tae-Gu Subway. The main fault zone at tunnel is a moderately to highly weathered and closely jointed zone, 0.5 m wide with associated paralled jointing which is slickensided and fractured. After excavation by blasting, the soft rocks should need to be reinforced with optimal supporting pattern which might be better redesigned through the consideration of the results of in-situ rock measurements at the field. Performances fo the field tests included Point Load Test, Schmidt Hammer Test, and field joint measurement gave the detail data for the optimum support design and safe excavation of the No.1 Line of Tae-Gu Subway at the No.1-7 consturction site adn the safety of this redesigned supports system was analysed by the FDM program FLAC.
