Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing workplace spirituality instrument. Methods: Using 44 preliminary items which were developed in a former study, a survey was done with 469 nurses working in 2 city general hospitals. Data were collected from September 19 to October 10, 2014 and were analyzed using statistical packages SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results: The finalized Nursing Workplace Spirituality instrument consisted of 32 items and 6 sub factors: meaning of nursing, relationship with colleagues, transcendency through nursing service, inner self, interaction between the workplace environments, and harmony between individual and organization. A seven-point Likert scale was employed, and achieving a higher score in a particular factor and sum of all scores indicated high factor and Nursing Workplace Spirituality. Conclusion: Findings indicate that with this instrument, it is possible to understand nursing organization's workplace spirituality. Therefore this instrument is recommended for use in hospitals.

Nowadays, the disabled are increasing because of industrial injuries and traffic accidents. The attention of the disabled is flourishing along with growing concerns about social participation of tile disabled. The purpose of this study is to investigate the interior design factors for the disabled in public libraries. Four public libraries in seoul since 2000 were investigated. The findings of this study are as follows: The legal items are adequate. But many recommended items are inadequate. Generally, moving facilities are adequate, but direction and refuge facilities are inadequate. Cubicle and lending table are inaccessible for the disabled.
Purpose: The process of designing a questionnaire is complicated. Many questionnaires on nursing phenomena have been developed and used by nursing researchers. The purpose of this paper was to discuss questionnaire design and factors that should be considered when using existing scales. Methods: Methodological issues were discussed, such as factors in the design of questions, steps in developing questionnaires, wording and formatting methods for items, and administrations methods. How to use existing scales, how to facilitate cultural adaptation, and how to prevent socially desirable responding were discussed. Moreover, the triangulation method in questionnaire development was introduced. Results: Steps were recommended for designing questions such as appropriately operationalizing key concepts for the target population, clearly formatting response options, generating items and confirming final items through face or content validity, sufficiently piloting the questionnaire using item analysis, demonstrating reliability and validity, finalizing the scale, and training the administrator. Psychometric properties and cultural equivalence should be evaluated prior to administration when using an existing questionnaire and performing cultural adaptation. Conclusion: In the context of well-defined nursing phenomena, logical and systematic methods will contribute to the development of simple and precise questionnaires.

Recommender systems, which predict and recommend items that may possibly draw users' interests, have been applied in various fields as e-commerce systems are widespread. Collaborative filtering, one of the major methodologies of recommender systems, recommends either items similar to those preferred by the user, or items preferred by the other similar user. Therefore, two problems determine its performance; one is correct estimation of similarity and the other is predicting the real rating of the recommended item. This study addresses the latter problem. Previous studies predict the real rating based on the mean of the ratings, but this study proposes a prediction based on the range of the ratings and investigates its performance through experiments. As a result, it is demonstrated that the proposed method improves the mean absolute error significantly, compared to the previous method.
Purpose: This study was done to develop a reliable and appropriate evaluation tool for sexual educational materials and to apply it to video materials for recommendation of excellent materials. Method: The items of the content for evaluation were based on the previous studies on the sexual education and evaluation tools. After testing validity and reliability of tool, final evaluation tool for sexual educational materials was developed. The evaluation tool was applied to 84 video materials and the excellent materials were recommended. Result: The final evaluation tool for sexual educational materials which consisted of two parts was developed. One is the evaluation of basic information which includes 8 items: target population, type of materials, producer, year of production, subject, theme, running time, and guide book. The other is the evaluation of content which includes 36 items related to characteristics of material, purpose, efficiency and scope of content. After applying the tool to 84 video materials, 39 excellent sexual education materials were suggested. Conclusion: The systematic development of materials for sexual education appropriate to the specific subjects should be done. Producers should describe the basic information on the outside of materials. For recommending the excellent materials, the periodical standardized evaluation of sexual educational materials should be done, and the database of the excellent materials should be provided for further utilization.
The kinds of traits and behaviors studied most frequently in the early leadership research included physical characteristics, personalities, abilities, skills, behaviors and so forth. Researchers who studied leadership emphasized the important role of cultural, counter-insurgent, stability operational and clinical leadership traits and behaviors to perform the special mission of Overseas Forces The purpose of this study was to examine effective leadership traits, behaviors and skills for special mission of ROK Overseas Forces and to find out the differences on leadership traits, skills and behaviors among officers, noncommissioned officers(NCO) and enlisted men of the army. In order to achieve this purpose, a number of literature reviews and survey researches were conducted. The data for the analysis were collected through the questionnaire which consisted of 94leadership traits, skills and behaviors items Subjects were composed of 43 officers, 144 NCOs and 109 enlisted men Although the ranking order of leadership traits, skills and behaviors items among the groups for each analysis did not show much difference, the results of one-way analysis of variance revealed that a few items had a significant statistical difference among the groups. Implications of comparative results were also discussed in this study. In conclusion, this study would be useful basis for further improvement on effective leadership traits, skills and behaviors of ROK Overseas Forces, and some further researches were recommended.
Identifying the selection criteria of wedding planners, who are the main human resource that contribute to the overall satisfaction level of a wedding's preparation, can produce important data for the wedding industry as it faces a transition period. To develop a scale for wedding planner selection criteria, preliminary items were prepared based on in-depth interviews with an experienced wedding planner group and a comprehensive review of previous studies, such as studies on selection criteria in the wedding industry and service work similar to wedding planners and wedding planner selection criteria. The preliminary items were tested for content validity using a focus group interview, comprising people in the wedding industry, and were refined accordingly. Then, the definitive quantitative questionnaire items were developed after conducting a preliminary survey. The main survey for this study was conducted using the responses of 295 consumers taking an Internet questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and confirmatory factor analysis were adopted to develop the scale, which was tested for convergent validity and discriminant validity. This study is academically significant in that it developed a selection criteria scale tailored to wedding planners to address an area that has not been covered in previous studies. It is recommended that future studies conduct empirical analyses using the selection criteria developed in this study to compare influential variables that could affect behavior intention.
The purpose of this study is to incorporate telemarketing processes to improve telemarketing performance. For this application, we have attempted to mix the model of machine learning to extract potential customers with personalisation techniques to derive recommended products from actual contact. Most of traditional recommendation systems were mainly in ways such as collaborative filtering, which predicts items with a high likelihood of future purchase, based on existing purchase transactions or preferences for products. But, under these systems, new users or items added to the system do not have sufficient information, and generally cause problems such as a cold start that can not obtain satisfactory recommendation items. Also, indiscriminate telemarketing attempts can backfire as they increase the dissatisfaction and fatigue of customers who do not want to be contacted. To this purpose, this study presented a multi-purpose hybrid recommendation algorithm to achieve two goals: to select customers with high possibility of contact, and to recommend products to selected customers. In addition, we used subscription data from telemarketing agency that handles insurance products to derive realistic applicability of the proposed recommendation system. Our proposed recommendation system would certainly solve the cold start and scarcity problem of existing recommendation algorithm by using contents information such as customer master information and telemarketing history. Also. the model could show excellent performance not only in terms of overall performance but also in terms of the recommendation success rate of the unpopular product.

The purpose of this study was to suggest development strategies of a village of Hwaseong-si where several programs using it's traditional items have been operated since 2003 according to the policy of Rural Traditional Thema Village Development implemented by Rural Development Administration(RDA). The village is located in Yodang-ri, Yanggam-myun, hwaseong-si in Gyounggi province. The village is called as 'Eunheng Namu Maeul' which means 'ginkgo tree village' since the tree is almost 350 years old and beautifully huge. Including this big tree there are much more traditional items such as organic dairy farming, hand-made cheese, legends and traditional plays. Using this items and government subsidies, the village has managed various tour programs and other income increasing projects. This study analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the current situation of the village with the related materials and data to find out development strategies for the village-based programs and projects. This study recommended the followings as a major result of this study. The huge ginkgo tree at the village could be a better traditional attractive item when paths and wood of ginkgo trees will be built up especially utilizing the original huge one around the village. Like this, the item of hand made cheese could be a much more valuable traditional item when there will be an advanced facility for the people's working together. The social actives of the village have been weakened because of few young dwellers living there, therefore there needs a special subsidizing project for the village to hire a young manager having some social skills and knowledges. The situation being urbanized in front of the village needs precisely checking and implementing the Hwaseong-si's urbanization policy so that the urbanization could be harmonized with the maintenance and development of the traditional items of the village.
A Survey was conducted to identify patrcis' eating behavior at the buffet styled restaurant during dinner time. The average frequency of taking food was 4.1±0.9 and this was statistically significant by age group. The frequency of taking food after satiety was 1.2±0.8. From the menu, 15 seafood items were the most popular which were chosen more than twice. The average of consumed food items was 24.9±8.9 out of 198. The average seafood items which were chosen by each individual was 5.8, desert items was 4.5, salad items with dressing was 4.2. The total weight of the consumed food was 954±365.1g. Mostly gruel, soup and saled chosen the first time. Alcholic beverages and drinks were chosen also first time. Seafood was chosen the 1.2 times and meat was chosen the first, second, and third time. Rice and soup. bread and noodles were chosen the second and third time. Desert was chosen the third time. The consumption of calories and nutrients were compared with the Korean Recommended Dietary Allowances. The average consumption of calories was 49.6% Korean RDAs, protein 71.4%, vitamin A 65.0%, thiamin 74.3%, riboflavin 71.8%, niacin 89.8%, ascorbic acid 72.7%, iron 68.1%, and calcium 108.3%. In one meal, the data shows over eating. The caloric consumption of desert was 275.5Kcal and seafood was 174.1Kcal. The protein consumption of seafood was 23.5g and meat was 7.5g. According to this research, customers have a lot of good chances to be exposed to the variety of food. This is desirable to correct the food habits with a experience. On the other hand, excessive food consumption is a problem. Therefore we suggest the provision of nutrition information about desirable order of eating a meal and the health problems due to overeating. We expect other research of nutritional evaluation in a meal in the different foodservice systems to be made in the future.
