인체에 투사된 스트라이프 파형의 HMM을 이용한 인식방안 (Recognition method of stripe waves projected to bodies using HMM)

  • 레이저 스트라이프 신호를 물체에 투사하고 그 반사파형을 비전 카메라를 통하여 입력하면 물체의 입체적 정보를 갖는 파형이 나타나게 된다. 이를 활용하여 물체의 3차인 입체정보를 저장하고 활용하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구는 사람에 대해 적은 수의 스트라이프 신호를 투사하고 반사된 입체적 스트라이프 파형을 분석하였으며 사람에 대한 특징적 패턴 파형을 추출하고 푸리에 서술자를 이용하여 이러한 패턴을 분류 저장하였다. Baum-Welch 알고리즘을 통하여 저장된 특징 파형을 학습시키고 HMM을 이용하여 사람의 형상에 대한 스트라이프 신호를 컴퓨터에 입력하고 사람의 형상을 인식할 수 있는 지를 실험하였으며 푸리에 서술자를 통한 인식방법과 비교하였다. 실험을 통해서 특정 파형으로 학습 후 인체의 형상을 인식할 수 있음을 확인하였으며, HMM을 통한 인식방법이 우수함을 알 수 있었다.

센서융합을 이용한 부정지형 적응형 이동로봇의 장애물 회피 (Sensor Fusion based Obstacle Avoidance for Terrain-Adaptive Mobile Robot)

  • The mobile robots to rescue a life in a disaster area and to explore planets demand high mobility as well as recognition of the environment. To avoid unknown obstacles exactly in unknown environment, accurate sensing is required. This paper proposes a sensor fusion to recognize unknown obstacles accurately by using low-cost sensors. Ultrasonic sensors and infrared sensors are used in this paper to avoid obstacles. If only one of these sensors is used alone, it is not useful fer the mobile robots to complete their tasks in the real world since the surrounding environment in the real world is complex and composed of many kinds of materials. So infrared sensor may not recognize transparent or reflective obstacles and ultrasonic sensor may not recognize narrow obstacles, far example, columns of small diameter. Therefore, I selected six ultrasonic sensors and five infrared sensors to detect obstacles. Then, I fused ultrasonic sensors with infrared sensors in order that both advantages and disadvantages of each sensor are utilized together. In fusing sensors, fuzzy algorithm is used to cope with the uncertainties of each sensor. TAMRY which is terrain-adaptive mobile robot is used as the mobile robot for experiments.

MHI의 형태 정보를 이용한 동작 인식 (Gesture Recognition using MHI Shape Information)

  • 본 논문에서는 MHI(Motion History Image)의 형태학적 정보를 이용하여 동작을 인식하는 제스처 인식(Gesture Recognition) 시스템을 제안한다. 입력되는 영상으로부터 동작에 관한 정보를 제공하는 MHI를 획득하고, 이 MHI로부터 x, y 각각의 좌표에 대한 기울기(gradient) 영상을 추출한다. 각각의 기울기 영상에 형태 문맥기법(shape context method)을 적용하여 형태 정보를 추출하고, 추출된 형태 정보 값들을 특징 값으로 사용한다. 이렇게 획득한 특징값들을 최종적으로 SVM(Support Vector Machine) 분류기로 학습 및 분류하여 동작을 인식한다. 제안하는 시스템은 MHI의 형태학적인 정보들을 사용함으로써 동작의 방향성을 인식할수 있고 다수 사람의 동작 인식이 가능하다. 뿐만 아니라 간단한 특징 추출 방법으로 높은 인식률의 시스템을 구현하였다.

도형표현도의 과소추정과 판독능력에 관한 연구 -중학생을 대상으로- (An Analysis of the Middle School Students' Abilities to Recognize the Proportional Symbol Maps)

  • 본 연구에서는 설문조사를 통해 중학생들의 도형표현도 인지 능력을 알아보려 했다. 분석 결과 3가지 사실을 확인할 수 있었는데, 우선 과소추정 경향은 지수함수로 나타나며, 선기호, 사각기호, 원기호, 입체기호 순으로 과소추정 정도가 증가하였다. 둘째, 범례의 수(3, 5, 7개), 범례 표현방법(나열, 포섭), 기호 크기 척도 체계(비례적, 심리적)에 따라 기호의 크기가 상이하게 인지되고 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 범례에 비해 기호의 크기를 과대추정 하는 경향이 있었고, 1학년과 3학년의 기호 인지 능력에서는 차이를 보이지 않았다.

공간구문분석을 위한 공간형상 인식 및 관리 방법 (Methods to Recognize and Manage Spatial Shapes for Space Syntax Analysis)

  • Although Space Syntax is a well-known technique for spatial analysis, debates have taken place among some researchers because the Space Syntax discards geometric information as both shapes and sizes of spaces, and hence may cause some inconsistencies. Therefore, this study aims at developing methods to recognize and manage spatial shapes for more precise space syntax analysis. To reach this goal, this study employed both a graph theory and binary spatial partitioning (BSP) tree to recognize and manage spatial information. As a result, spatial shapes and sizes could be recognized by checking loops in graph converted from spatial shapes of built environment. Each spatial shape could be managed sequentially by BSP tree with hierarchical structure. Through such recognition and management processes, convex maps composed of the fattest and fewest convex spaces could be drawn. In conclusion, we hope that the methods developed here will be useful for urban planning to find appropriate purposes of spaces to satisfy the sustainability of built environment on the basis of the spatial and social relationships in urban spaces.

  • As we recognize the space, humans will experience a process to synthesize elements of cognitive various methods, come to understand the environment. It is intended that on humans to recognize the space, it is intended to act directly under study how to recognize. Humans can know that the determining action based on the values and physical condition, based on the space in which they have been recognized, there are differences in the behavior of the human as a result. Social and arrangement of components - physical region that is cultural difficulties constitute experience specific areas therein. Space for human activities and human, can know that it is not a memory of human behavior, to have a closer relationship with human perception. That is, the description will be aware of the space via the perceptual phenomenon of man due to physical elements performed in the space, what acts about what happens. Through an understanding of the potential for this, and emotion space production consisting only of physical visual element future, and use act of the area to be expressed from his recognition, through the expansion of the perceptual elements, diverse experience richer and more it is a case where deemed necessary access space configuration capable of a broad depth study of this portion is happening, in order to constitute a space, a new interpretation for human behavior is progressing.

한국어 역사 소설에서 공간적 배경 인식 기법 (A Recognition Method for Korean Spatial Background in Historical Novels)

  • Background in a novel is most important elements with characters and events, and means time, place and situation that characters appeared. Among the background, spatial background can help conveys topic of a novel. So, it may be helpful for choosing a novel that readers want to read. In this paper, we are targeting Korean historical novels. In case of English text, It can be recognize spatial background easily because it use upper and lower case and words used with the spatial information such as Bank, University and City. But, in case Korean text, it is difficult to recognize that spatial background because there is few information about usage of letter. In the previous studies, they use machine learning or dictionaries and rules to recognize about spatial information in text such as news and text messages. In this paper, we build a nation dictionaries that refer to information such as 'Korean history' and 'Google maps.' We Also propose a method for recognizing spatial background based on patterns of postposition in Korean sentences comparing to previous works. We are grasp using of postposition with spatial background because Korean characteristics. And we propose a method based on result of morpheme analyze and frequency in a novel text for raising accuracy about recognizing spatial background. The recognized spatial background can help readers to grasp the atmosphere of a novel and to understand the events and atmosphere through recognition of the spatial background of the scene that characters appeared.

LIDAR 포인트 cloud로부터 분리된 포인트 군집간 인접관계 인식과 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Detecting Neighboring Relation Among Point Segments of LIDAR Point Cloud and its Application)

  • 본 연구에서는 선행 연구에서 제시한 스캔라인을 이용한 LIDAR 포인트 cloud의 분리과정 중 분리된 포인트 군집간인접 관계를 인식할 수 있는 기능을 추가하여 분리된 건물요소를 인식하고 재결합하였다. 아울러 군집간 인접 특성을 활용하여 지면 포인트 군집을 인식하기 위한 방법론을 제시하였다. 실험 결과 포인트 cloud 분리 과정에 군집간 인접 관계 인식 기능을 추가하더라도 처리 성능이 저하되지 않았으며 후처리를 통하여 건물 요소를 결합하여 온전한 형태의 건물 포인트 군집을 형성함과 더불어 지면 포인트 군집도 인식할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Recognizing F5-like stego images from multi-class JPEG stego images

  • To recognize F5-like (such as F5 and nsF5) steganographic algorithm from multi-class stego images, a recognition algorithm based on the identifiable statistical feature (IDSF) of F5-like steganography is proposed in this paper. First, this paper analyzes the special modification ways of F5-like steganography to image data, as well as the special changes of statistical properties of image data caused by the modifications. And then, by constructing appropriate feature extraction sources, the IDSF of F5-like steganography distinguished from others is extracted. Lastly, based on the extracted IDSFs and combined with the training of SVM (Support Vector Machine) classifier, a recognition algorithm is presented to recognize F5-like stego images from images set consisting of a large number of multi-class stego images. A series of experimental results based on the detection of five types of typical JPEG steganography (namely F5, nsF5, JSteg, Steghide and Outguess) indicate that, the proposed algorithm can distinguish F5-like stego images reliably from multi-class stego images generated by the steganography mentioned above. Furthermore, even if the types of some detected stego images are unknown, the proposed algorithm can still recognize F5-like stego images correctly with high accuracy.

초음파 센서 오차 감소를 위한 실내 환경의 거리 자료 분석 (Distance Data Analysis of Indoor Environment for Ultrasonic Sensor Error Decrease)

  • When a mobile robot moves around autonomously without man-made corrupted bye landmarks, it is essential to recognize the placement of surrounding objects especially for self localization, obstacle avoidance, and target classification and localization. To recognize the environment we use many Kinds of sensors, such as ultrasonic sensors, laser range finder, CCD camera, and so on. Among the sensors, ultra sonic sensors(sonar)are unexpensive and easy to use. In this paper, we analyze the sonar data and propose a method to recognize features of indoor environment. It is supposed that the environments are consisted of features of planes, edges, and corners, For the analysis, sonar data of plane, edge, and corner are accumulated for several given ranges. The data are filtered to eliminate some noise using the Kalman filter algorithm. Then, the data for each feature are compared each other to extract the character is ties of each feature. We demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method using the sonar data obtained form a sonar transducer rotating and scanning the range information around a indoor environment.
