PC 카메라에서 추출한 이미지를 이용한 수화인식 (Recognition of Finger Language using Image from PC Camera)

  • Finger language is a typical tool for deaf persons. But learning the finger language for non-handicapped persons is very difficult. To overcome these difficulties, a new communication method using visual function is developed recently. Even though the developed system uses the visual function, it needs expensive equipments such as camera and computer. To be used in the real environments, the cost of equipments is a critical factor. If the recognition system for the finger language can be developed with low price equipments, the system can be used in the notebook or cellular phone. The image captured by PC camera was processed by preprocessing algorithm. To recognize the finger language, the resulting image was divide into $5{\times}5$ sections. The recognition system uses a similarity method and position information. The simulation results shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

A standardization model based on image recognition for performance evaluation of an oral scanner

  • PURPOSE. Accurate information is essential in dentistry. The image information of missing teeth is used in optically based medical equipment in prosthodontic treatment. To evaluate oral scanners, the standardized model was examined from cases of image recognition errors of linear discriminant analysis (LDA), and a model that combines the variables with reference to ISO 12836:2015 was designed. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The basic model was fabricated by applying 4 factors to the tooth profile (chamfer, groove, curve, and square) and the bottom surface. Photo-type and video-type scanners were used to analyze 3D images after image capture. The scans were performed several times according to the prescribed sequence to distinguish the model from the one that did not form, and the results confirmed it to be the best. RESULTS. In the case of the initial basic model, a 3D shape could not be obtained by scanning even if several shots were taken. Subsequently, the recognition rate of the image was improved with every variable factor, and the difference depends on the tooth profile and the pattern of the floor surface. CONCLUSION. Based on the recognition error of the LDA, the recognition rate decreases when the model has a similar pattern. Therefore, to obtain the accurate 3D data, the difference of each class needs to be provided when developing a standardized model.

  • 자동 주행 차량을 구현하기 위해서는 장애물 인식, 차선 인식 및 변경 등 많은 기능들이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 자동차 주행에 필요한 '차선 인식'의 범위를 확장시킨 '색깔 인식' 개념을 도입 적용시키기 위해 3가지 코스를 주행하는 시스템을 구현하였다. RC car의 크기와 비례하게 축소 제작한 각 코스에서 주행에 필요한 검지선의 위치, 기울기 및 차량의 속도를 고려하여 조향 제어를 하였고, 브레이크 기능이 없는 RC car를 제어하기 위해 차량의 속도와 검지선의 위치를 고려하였다.

군 병원코디네이터에 대한 역할인식과 서비스 요구도 (Service Needs and Role Awareness of Military Hospital Coordinator)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the service needs and role awareness of military hospital coordinator to provide basic data for establishing the role of military hospital coordinator and facilitating efficient, systematic work performance. Questionnaires were used to survey military hospital out patients for 25 days from July 13 to August 11. 2011. The subjects were 616 outpatients. Research results, the recognition of higher awareness of the military hospital coordinator to perform the work to know if the work performed was low awareness of the present in the generally. High service needs was generally presented among outpatients that perceived the work performed by the military hospital coordinator, and most of the work preformed in the service needs was higher, showed a high needs. The results of this study showed that military hospital outpatients presented low role awareness but high level of service needs for military hospital coordinator. Establish roles of military hospital coordinator and provide for systematic performance if so can military hospital will contribute to improving service satisfaction.

감정 인식을 위한 Interactive Feature Selection(IFS) 알고리즘 (Interactive Feature selection Algorithm for Emotion recognition)

  • 본 논문은 일반적으로 많은 특징들을 갖고 있는 패턴 분류 문제인 감정 인식을 위한 새로운 특징 선택 방법을 제안한다. '특징 선택'은 패턴 인식 성능의 향상에 기여하고 '차원의 저주'문제에도 좋은 해결책으로 많이 사용되는 방법이다. 그래서, 본 논문에서는 강화학습의 개념을 사용한 상호 작용에 의한 특징 선택 방법인 IFS(Interactiv Feature Selection)를 고안하였고 이 알고리즘을 사용하여 선택된 특징들을 감정 인식 시스템에 적용하여 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 또한 기존의 특징 선택 방법과의 비교를 통하여 본 알고리즘의 우수성을 확인하였다.

STEAM 교육에 대한 초등교사의 인식과 요구 (The Recognition and Needs of Elementary School Teachers about STEAM Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 STEAM 교육에 대한 초등교사의 인식과 요구를 조사 분석하는 것이다. 이 연구를 수행하기 위하여 군집표집 방법으로 전국의 초등교사 533명을 표집하여 연구대상으로 하였고, 우편 및 이메일을 통하여 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사는 STEAM 교육의 필요성에 대하여 긍정적으로 공감하고 있었으나 STEAM 교육에 대한 인식은 보통 수준이었다. 둘째, STEAM 교육을 적용한 경험이 있는 초등교사의 비율이 매우 낮았다. STEAM 교육 적용에 대한 어려움은 STEAM 교육 자료 준비의 어려움이 가장 높았으며, STEAM 교육에 대한 이해 부족 개발된 STEAM 교육프로그램의 보급 부족, STEAM 교육 실현을 위한 교수 학습 방법 부족 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등교사는 STEAM 교육의 교육방향에 대하여 현실생활과 밀접한 관련이 있는 교육, 창의적인 사고능력 및 문제해결능력 향상을 위한 교육, STEAM 교과의 흥미 있는 교육, STEAM 교과의 학업능력 향상을 위한 교육 순으로 요구하였다. 넷째, 초등교사는 STEAM 교육에 적합한 통합 방식에 관하여 현실생활과 관련한 활동 중심의 통합, 현실생활과 관련한 주제 중심의 통합, 학생의 필요와 흥미 중심의 통합, 문제 중심의 통합 순으로 요구하였다. 다섯째, 초등교사는 STEAM 교육을 통해 함양해야 할 능력에 관하여 창의적인 설계, 문제해결 능력, 학업수행능력, 대인관계 능력 순으로 요구하였다. 마지막으로 초등교사는 STEAM 교육 활성화를 위해 STEAM 교육프로그램 개발 및 보급, STEAM 교육에 대한 교사의 이해, 다양한 교수 학습자료 보급, 교사 연수, 교사 협동, 교육과정 개선 등이 이루어져야 함을 요구하였다.

플래그쉽스토어의 VMD 감성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on VMD Emotional Evaluation of Flagship Store)

  • For commercial inner space, studies about brand communication and VMD to inform brand identity to customers are very important. Accordingly, the study conducted questionnaire survey about 'emotional reaction, brand recognition, brand communication and satisfaction on VMD expressional elements' of customers and brand-related personnel on the ZARA flagship store. Through analysis of difference of evaluation on surveyed items between customers and brand personnels, importance of direction of VMD design applying brand communication which can satisfy customers and application of brand communication was verified. Specific results of the research are as follows: First, comparing brand personnel's expectation of recognition of their brand from customers, substantial level of recognition of brand by customers was lower. It is necessary for improvement through consumer analysis in order to raise brand recognition. Second, as the result of analysis of emotional reaction on VMD, it needs to lead customers to positive emotional reaction close to the brand plan intention by inducing 'exciting and sensational' brand concept to emotional reactions through comprehensive VMD image management and leading to 'free and convenient' emotional reaction and then communications with customers and minimizing emotional differences. Third, for brand communication and creation of 'interest', intention of ZARA, it needs to get maximum communicative effects with 'young' VMD design. Fourth, for satisfaction survey on VMD expressional elements, customers was less satisfied than brand personnel. Accordingly, in order to raise customers' satisfaction, show windows, entry, mannequins and objets should be planned with priority and it should also satisfy customers through communications with customers including advertisement and marketing.

GMM 지원을 위해 k-means 알고리즘을 이용한 어휘 인식 성능 개선 (Vocabulary Recognition Performance Improvement using k-means Algorithm for GMM Support)

  • 일반적인 CHMM 어휘 인식 시스템은 어휘 인식에 대한 모델들의 관측 확률 인식률이 낮고, 일부 단위 음소 모델에만 적용되어 제한적으로 사용되는 문제점이 있다. 또한, 어휘 탐색에서 어휘의 의미가 다양하여 탐색된 어휘가 사용자의 요구에 부합되지 않는 문제점을 가진다. 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위해 GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model)을 이용한 음소인식을 수행하고, 개선된 k-means 알고리즘을 이용하여 어휘 특성에 따른 제한적인 탐색 문제점을 해결하였다. 성능 실험은 기존의 시스템과 비교하여 정확도와 재현율로 대변되는 효과성을 측정하였으며, 성능 실험 결과 정확도는 83%, 재현율은 67%로 나타났다.

전남의 친환경농산물 유통실태 및 개선방안 (Marketing and Improvement of Environmental-Friendly Agricultural Products in Jeonnam)

  • Recently, with the improvement of national income, the increase of int e rest in the consumers, health, and the enhancement of recognition of environment the demands of environmental-friendly agricultural products(EFAPs) are on the rise rapidly. The demand in the market for EFAPs increases rapidly, and the sales amount increases by 30~40% every year. But, it is in situation that the EFAPs arc not distributed well between the producers and consumers now. That is, the producers of EFAPs can not End th e ir markets. And, the consumers do not trust the EFAPs. Also, it is in situation that it is difficult to promote the demand because of relatively higher prices than the general agricultural products. To solve these problems, it may be summed up as follows. First, it needs to reduce the distribution cost by the construction of stable supply basis. Second, it needs to improve the distribution system of EFAPs. Third, it needs to enhance the differentiation and improve the consumers, reliability. Fourth, it needs to make in brand and extend the various publicities. Fifth, it needs to construct the supporting system and enhance the cooperation with the related institutions. Sixth, it needs to End new demand and introduce the procurement system by the government.

대전지역 중학교의 기술.가정교과 "식생활단원"교육에 대한 교육실태 및 학습요구도 (Educational Status and Students' Educational Needs on the Food and Nutrition Section of Technology.Home Economics Subject at Middle Schools in the Daejeon Area)

  • This study investigated the educational status, students' recognition, educational needs and degree of difficulty on the food and nutrition section of Technology Home economics subject in middle schools. It was carried out through questionnaires. The subjects were 503(boys; 246, girls; 257) middle school students in 3rd grade in the Daejeon area. The results were as follows. The students' preference for food and nutrition section was 58.5% of boys and 72.0% of girls. On the educational status of this section, The highest cooking frequency was once a year(52.3%), but 12.9% of students had never done cooking practice. Generally, practice education was not enough in subjected schools. The education of food and nutrition section was mainly conducted by lecture. For the behavioral change of students after learning this section, 'I can cook some simple foods' was the most(36.8%) than the other. The contents of high educational needs in this section were 'cooking foods' and ‘basic cooking methods'. A average degree of difficulty in this section was 2.89 points of the likert scale(1~5 point), particularly, 'change of food components by cooking' was the highest at 3.17 points of likert scale(1~5 point) in this degree. In relation to demographic background, the difficult degrees of this section were significantly higher than the other, when their parent's education was under middle school and their fathers' had no occupation. It suggests an increase in cooking frequency, complementing contents needed in life and using various audio-visual education aids are necessary for the education of food and nutrition section.
