국내.외 철도사고유형 분석을 통해 초기 사고발생 인식.전파를 위한 오감인지 대응연구 (The recognition response research of five sences for the first accident occurrence cognizance and spread through the analysis of railroad accident type at domestic and foreign)

  • This paper contains that the current emergency response procedure through the railroad accident type at domestic and foreign, and the response program which is more systematic as a result of improving weaknesses. Because the response program at home is less sufficient than developed country's, we have made an investigation into system of classification in America, British, Germany, Japan for organizing separate emergency response code. we have researched the recognition response of five senses for minimizing the accident damage in a way of spreading the emergency response type analyzed through the accident procedure according to the feature of five senses by the first recognizer. Based on the first recognitions response of five senses, the scenario has been established according to each types and the criteria of accident has been researched through classifying the recognition of five senses response level, early response level, self-response level, outside support level.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify and present suitable recognition types of policy alternative for before and after response, according to the recognition types of problems in response to violence. Methods: This study investigated 36 EMT's of 17 cities and provinces nationwide. The study was approved by the Kongju National University Institute Review Board (KNU_IRB_2021-17). Data were collected from May 1, 2021 to August 30, 2021 and analyzed by Q factor analysis using the PC-QUNAL program. Results: Recognition types of the problem in 119 EMT's response to violence were described as "I type; lack of professional manpower," "II type; inadequate policy on violence," and "III type; lack of awareness on the emergency field." Recognition types of policy alternative on response to violence by 119 EMT's were described as "Itype; training and public relations oriented," "II type; work environment improvement," "III type; violence handling specialization demand," and "IV type; recovery support seeker." Conclusion: This study provides the foundation required to develop and implement the policies regarding the response to violence; therefore, contributing to EMT's provision.

Effects of Smart Factory Quality Characteristics and Dynamic Capabilities on Business Performance: Mediating Effect of Recognition Response

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to confirm the strategic direction of the firm regarding the capabilities of the organization and its employees in order to increase the utilization and business performance of employees by that introduce smart factories in the domestic manufacturing industry. Research design, data, and methodology: This study derived a structured research model to confirm the mediating effect of recognition responses between the quality characteristics of smart factories and dynamic capabilities. For the analysis, a total of 143 valid questionnaires were used for 200 companies that introduced smart factories from domestic SME's. Results: Quality Characteristics of Smart Factory and Dynamic Capabilities had a statistically significant effect on Usefulness. Recognition Response had a statistically mediating on the relationship between quality characteristics of smart factory and business performance. Recognition Response had a statistically significant effect on business performance. Conclusions: It suggests that firms introducing smart factory reflect them in their empowerment strategic because the recognition responses of its employees differ according to the quality characteristics and dynamic capabilities of smart factories. It also means that the information derived from the smart factory system is useful and effective to business performance and employees.

PC User Authentication using Hand Gesture Recognition and Challenge-Response

  • The current PC user authentication uses character password based on user's knowledge. However, this can easily be exploited by password cracking or key-logging programs. In addition, the use of a difficult password and the periodic change of the password make it easy for the user to mistake exposing the password around the PC because it is difficult for the user to remember the password. In order to overcome this, we propose user gesture recognition and challenge-response authentication. We apply user's hand gesture instead of character password. In the challenge-response method, authentication is performed in the form of responding to a quiz, rather than using the same password every time. To apply the hand gesture to challenge-response authentication, the gesture is recognized and symbolized to be used in the quiz response. So we show that this method can be applied to PC user authentication.

Novel Method for Face Recognition using Laplacian of Gaussian Mask with Local Contour Pattern

  • We propose a face recognition method that utilizes the LCP face descriptor. The proposed method applies a LoG mask to extract a face contour response, and employs the LCP algorithm to produce a binary pattern representation that ensures high recognition performance even under the changes in illumination, noise, and aging. The proposed LCP algorithm produces excellent noise reduction and efficiency in removing unnecessary information from the face by extracting a face contour response using the LoG mask, whose behavior is similar to the human eye. Majority of reported algorithms search for face contour response information. On the other hand, our proposed LCP algorithm produces results expressing major facial information by applying the threshold to the search area with only 8 bits. However, the LCP algorithm produces results that express major facial information with only 8-bits by applying a threshold value to the search area. Therefore, compared to previous approaches, the LCP algorithm maintains a consistent accuracy under varying circumstances, and produces a high face recognition rate with a relatively small feature vector. The test results indicate that the LCP algorithm produces a higher facial recognition rate than the rate of human visual's recognition capability, and outperforms the existing methods.

건축의 시각적 환경에 대한 지능형 인지 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Artificial Recognition System on Visual Environment of Architecture)

  • This study deals with the investigation of recognition structure on architectural environment and reconstruction of it by artificial intelligence. To test the possibility of the reconstruction, recognition structure on architectural environment is analysed and each steps of the structure are matched with computational methods. Edge Detection and Neural Network were selected as matching methods to each steps of recognition process. Visual perception system established by selected methods is trained and tested, and the result of the system is compared with that of experiment of human. Assuming that the artificial system resembles the process of human recognition on architectural environment, does the system give similar response of human? The result shows that it is possible to establish artificial visual perception system giving similar response with that of human when it models after the recognition structure and process of human.

  • The major cell wall components of bacteria are lipopolysaccharide, peptidoglycan, and teichoic acid. These molecules are known to trigger strong innate immune responses in the host. The molecular mechanisms by which the host recognizes the peptidoglycan of Gram-positive bacteria and amplifies this peptidoglycan recognition signals to mount an immune response remain largely unclear. Recent, elegant genetic and biochemical studies are revealing details of the molecular recognition mechanism and the signalling pathways triggered by bacterial peptidoglycan. Here we review recent progress in elucidating the molecular details of peptidoglycan recognition and its signalling pathways in insects. We also attempt to evaluate the importance of this issue for understanding innate immunity.

Kinect Sensor- based LMA Motion Recognition Model Development

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest that the movement expression activity of intellectually disabled people is effective in the learning process of LMA motion recognition based on Kinect sensor. We performed an ICT motion recognition games for intellectually disabled based on movement learning of LMA. The characteristics of the movement through Laban's LMA include the change of time in which movement occurs through the human body that recognizes space and the tension or relaxation of emotion expression. The design and implementation of the motion recognition model will be described, and the possibility of using the proposed motion recognition model is verified through a simple experiment. As a result of the experiment, 24 movement expression activities conducted through 10 learning sessions of 5 participants showed a concordance rate of 53.4% or more of the total average. Learning motion games that appear in response to changes in motion had a good effect on positive learning emotions. 냄새 인식을 위한 최적의 센서 결정 방법 (A Method of Optimal Sensor Decision for Odor Recognition)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 센서를 선택하는 냄새 인식 시스템에서 최적의 센서 조합을 선택하기 위하여 통계적 분석 기반의 센서 사이의 상관계수를 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 센서 결정 방법은 금속 산화물 반도체(Metal Oxide Semiconductor : MOS) 센서 어레이를 사용하여 냄새 데이터를 획득한 후 획득한 냄새의 상관도를 기반으로 적합한 센서를 결정한다. 우선 측정 대상이 유사한 MOS 가스센서 중 응답의 크기가 작고 변화가 낮은 센서를 제외하여 총 16개의 센서를 선별한다. 입력되는 냄새로부터 16개의 센서를 사용하여 냄새 DB를 구축하고 각 센서별 상관계수를 계산한 후 상관도가 낮은 센서를 선택한다. 선택된 센서는 유사한 응답 특성을 갖는 센서를 제거한 것이며 제안한 방법으로 최적의 센서를 결정 할 수 있다. 제안된 센서 결정 방법의 성능 평가를 위해 꽃 냄새 인식 시스템에 적용하였다. 상관계수를 이용한 꽃 냄새 인식 시스템에 제안한 방법을 적용한 결과로 16개의 센서를 사용할 경우 95.67%의 인식률을 보이는 반면 제안한 센서 결정 방법을 적용한 꽃 냄새 인식 시스템은 6개를 사용한 경우 94.67%, 8개의 센서를 사용한 경우 96%의 인식률을 도출하는 것을 확인하였다.

외식산업의 위험 커뮤니케이션이 소비자의 심리적 반응과 태도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Risk Communication on Consumers' Psychological Response and Attitude in the Foodservice Industry)

  • 본 연구는 외식산업의 위험 커뮤니케이션에 대한 소비자들의 심리적 반응과 태도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적을 두고 검증하였는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위험 커뮤니케이션과 정보 신뢰간 관계에서는 위험 커뮤니케이션의 안전성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 정보 신뢰는 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 위험성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 정보 신뢰는 윤리성에 대한 지각이 높아지며 정보 신뢰는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 위험 커뮤니케이션과 위험 지각간 관계에서는 위험 커뮤니케이션의 안전성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 위험 지각은 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 위험성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 위험 지각은 환경성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 위험 지각은 윤리성에 대한 지각이 높아지면 위험 지각은 0.234 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 위험 커뮤니케이션에 대한 정보 신뢰와 위험 지각간 관계에서는 위험 커뮤니케이션에 대한 정보 신뢰가 높아지면 위험 지각은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 정보 신뢰와 소비자 태도간 관계에서는 만족도에 있어 정보 신뢰가 높아지면 만족도는 0.681 낮아지는 것으로 나타났고, 구전 의도에 있어 정보 신뢰가 높아지면 구전 의도는 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다.
