  • The purpose of this was to investigate the relationship institutionalized childrens ego-identities and internal locus of control to behavior problems. The subjects were 119 5th and 6th graders(58 boys, 61 girls) who were institutionalized in Seoul. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) The institutionalized childrens internal locus of control and ego-identity were not significant difference in gender, reason for entering the institution and duration in he institution. The institutionalized childrens internal locus of control was significantly related to their ego-identity. The more internal locus of control, the higher ego-identity. 2) The institutionalized childrens behavior problems were not significant difference in gender and duration in the institution, but were significant difference reason for entering the institution. The children who were institutionalized by parents absence were more likely to have behavior problems than children by economic problem or marital conflict. The institutionalized childrens behavior problems were significantly related to their ego-identities and internal locus of control. The less internal locus of control, the more behavior problems, and the less ego-identities, the more behavior problems.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate if the instruction using GSP to 4th graders for them to explore 'rectangles and making them' have an influence of understanding and retention of the knowledge, generation of the knowledge which is not dealt with during experimental treatment, and if they can reason based on what they have learned about it and about what has not been learned. According to the result from the data gained, learners in the experiment group show that they can retain, generate, reason better than ones in the comparison group.

  • This study is on the philosophy and medical science of Lee Gyu Jun, who is the author of SoMunDaeYo and UiGamJungMa. Lee Gyu Jun proposed that Providence is made of Ki, and the Pure Good of Ki is the composing principle of the universe. The Ki could be Pure Good because it embraces Reason of Law inside itself, as a part of itself. This developed as a result of absorbing the ideas from Han and Tang Dynasty's' Ki-Philosophy trend, the latter half of the Joseon Dynasty's Heart Nature Doctrine centered Ri(理:reason)-Monism trend, and Sim (心:heart) centered teachings of Wang Yang Ming, etc. Later, his philosophical Ki-Monism(氣一元 GiIlWon) and SimAngKiReon(心陽氣論) appears exactly in medical science and continues on to Ki-Monism(氣一元 GiIlWon) and SimHwaReon(心火論).

  • Most parts of facilities in domestic petroleum plants and power plants are needed to be abandoned, repaired or replaced, because in Korea they were built in the 1960s and, they have been used under severe conditions and exposed corrosive environments. 2.25Cr- lMo steels have excellent high-temperature mechanical properties. Therefore, the material have been widely used as heat exchanger tubes, boiler headers and its tubes in such industries. But, those microstructural evolutions in high temperature such as precipitation and carbide coarsening give a reason to degrade the material. Especially, in case of this material, carbides induced embrittlement(CIE) is the primary reason for degrading mechanical properties at over 50$0^{\circ}C$. In this paper, we introduce a electrochemical polarization method for detecting CIE quantitatively.

  • The purpose of this study was to predict the spatial housing demand of households in Seoul with the use of residential choice probabilitics. An multinomial legit model is developed using socio-demographic and housing characteristics. SAS package was utilized to estimate this model. This study used the data obtained by the Korea Rosearch Institute for Human Settlemente in 1989. The sample size was 3941 households in Seoul. The residential choice probability varicd depending upon the residential area, head age, head age, tenure and work place. The households with students were more likely to choose kangnam are. The households without young children had higher probability to choose new town near Seoul. Prime reason of this two results were considered the chi Id education and their better housing, Kangnam area was known to be the first consideration for residential choice regardless of work place. Low level of choice probability of kangman area for future residences however, was evidenced. Prime reason of such seemingly contradicting phenomenon is suspected for higher housing prices and limited affordability of people surveyed.

  • There are many reason for unsafety action without safety operation. The reason is no standard safety operation in company or the workers never get a enough education. Standard safety operation is prepared by paper for accurate directions and orders and operators must read the paper to prevent an error of action. Also an essential particular is safety of equipment and machine must be assumed to establish standard safety operation then safety of operations will be possible.

  • An industrial injury prevention has a basis on fundamental spirit of human respect rather than only injury prevention in company. The employer should recognize employee as a core part of an industrial management and use as a starting point of safety and health management rather than means of production. • The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is well suited to group decision making and offers numerous benefits as a synthesizing mechanism in group decisions. To date, the majority of AHP applications have been in group settings. One reason for this may be that groups often have an advantage over individual when there exists a significant difference between the importance of quality in the decision and the importance of time in which to obtain the decision. Another reason may be the best alternative is selected by comparing alternative solutions, testing against selected criteria, a task ideally suited for AHP. In general, aggregation methods employed in group AHP can be largely classified into two methods: geometric mean method and (weighted) arithmetic mean method. In a situation where there do not exist clear guidelines for selection between them, two methods do not always guarantee the same group decision result. We propose a simulation approach for building group consensus without efforts to make point estimates from individual diverse preference judgments, displaying possible disagreements as is natural in group members'different viewpoints.
