Real-time Dangerous Driving Behavior Analysis Utilizing the Digital Tachograph and Smartphone

  • In this paper, we propose the assistance method to enable safe driving through analysis of dangerous driving behavior using real-time alarm by vehicle speed, azimuth data and smartphone. For this method, smartphone is receiving driving data from digital tachograph using communication. Safe driving habit is a very important issue to commercial vehicle because that driver's long time driving than other vehicle type driver. Existing methods are very inefficient to improve immediately dangerous driving habits during driving because proceed driving behavior analysis after the vehicle operation. We propose the new safe driving assistance method that can prevent traffic accidents by real-time and improve the driver's wrong driving habits through real-time dangerous driving behavior analysis and notification the result to the driver. We have confirmed that the method in this paper will help to improve driving habits and can be applied through the proposed method implementation and simulation experiment.

비행시험통제컴퓨터용 실시간 데이터 융합 알고리듬의 구현 (Implementation of a Real-time Data fusion Algorithm for Flight Test Computer)

  • This paper presents an implementation of a real-time multi-sensor data fusion algorithm for Flight Test Computer. The sensor data consist of positional information of the target from a radar, a GPS receiver and an INS. The data fusion algorithm is designed by the 21st order distributed Kalman Filter which is based on the PVA model with sensor bias states. A fault detection and correction logics are included in the algorithm for bad measurements and sensor faults. The statistical parameters for the states are obtained from Monte Carlo simulations and covariance analysis using test tracking data. The designed filter is verified by using real data both in post processing and real-time processing.

A Systems Engineering Approach to Real-Time Data Communication Network for the APR1400

  • Concept development of a real-time Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)-based switched Ethernet data communication network for the Man-Machine Interface System (MMIS) is presented in this paper. The proposed design discussed in this research is based on the systems engineering (SE) approach. The design methodology is effectively developed by defining the concept development stage of the life-cycle model consisting of three successive phases, which are developed and discussed: needs analysis; concept exploration; and concept definition. This life-cycle model is used to develop an FPGA-based time-triggered Ethernet (TTE) switched data communication network for the non-safety division of MMIS system to provide real-time data transfer from the safety control systems to the non-safety division of MMIS and between the non-safety systems including control, monitoring, and information display systems. The original IEEE standard 802.3 Ethernet networks were not typically designed or implemented for providing real-time data transmission, however implementing a network that provides both real-time and on-demand data transmission is achievable using the real-time Ethernet technology. To develop the design effectively, context diagrams are implied. Conformance to the stakeholders needs, system requirements, and relevant codes and standards together with utilizing the TTE technology are used to analyze, synthesize, and develop the MMIS non-safety data communication network of the APR1400 nuclear power plant.

  • 최근 들어 전자상거래 데이터의 실시간 공급이 가능해지면서, 전자상거래 데이터를 실시간으로 분석하고자 하는 요구가 급증하고 있다. 이를 위해서는 전자상거래 데이터 스트림과 디스크에 저장된 대규모 릴레이션 간의 연속 조인 질의를 효율적으로 처리하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래 데이터 스트림과 디스크에 저장된 다수 릴레이션 간의 효율적인 연속 조인 질의 기법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 기존 방법에 비해 서비스율을 크게 향상시키는 한편, 메모리 사용량을 크게 줄인다. 분석과 다양한 실험을 통해, 제안 방법은 기존 방법에 비해 서비스율과 메모리 사용량에서 더 효율적임을 보인다.

  • 무선센서네트워크 시스템들은 응용 어플리케이션에서 많은 노드들이 처리하고 분석하기 위해 요청한 실시간 센서 데이터를 수집하고 분석한다. 본 논문에서는 전라북도 군산시 지역에 여러 요소의 무선센서네트워크 클러스터를 구축하였다. 구축된 시스템을 이용하여 측정된 실시간 데이터를 도형화하고 분석하여 변화의 결과를 도출하고자 한다. 결과로 나온 분석 내용은 데이터의 시간적인 변화량과 공간적인 변화량 그리고 진행 방향성에 대해 시각적으로 나타내어 해석하기 쉬운 형태의 데이터를 생성한다. 이러한 분석 방법은 무선센서네트워크를 사용하여 분석하는 많은 사람들에게 보다 편리하게 해 줄 것이다.

  • In order to design a real time big data collection and analysis system of manufacturing data in a smart factory, it is important to establish an appropriate wired/wireless communication system and protocol. This paper introduces the latest communication protocol, OPC-UA (Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture) based client/server function, applied user interface technology to configure a network for real-time data collection through IoT Integration. Then, Database is designed in MES (Manufacturing Execution System) based on the analysis table that reflects the user's requirements among the data extracted from the new cutting process automation process, bush inner diameter indentation measurement system and tool monitoring/inspection system. In summary, big data analysis system introduced in this paper performs SPC (statistical Process Control) analysis and visualization analysis with interface of OPC-UA-based wired/wireless communication. Through AI learning modeling with XGBoost (eXtream Gradient Boosting) and LR (Linear Regression) algorithm, quality and visualization analysis is carried out the storage and connection to the cloud.

  • In this paper, a realization of a real-time train information system(TIS) is discussed. The requirements of TIS which satisfy real-time constraints are analyzed in view of data transfer. For efficient data communication in TIS, a new network system is suggested and its real-time characteristics are analyzed and compared with the standard network system. A local unit is designed based on VMEbus system.

  • In this paper, a real-time communication method using a PICNET-NP(Plant instrumentation and Control Network for Nuclear Power plant) is proposed with an analysis of the control network requirements of DCS(Distributed Control System) in nuclear power plants. The method satisfies deadline in case of worst data traffics by considering aperiodic and periodic real-time data and others. In addition, the method was used to analyze the data characteristics of the DCS in existing nuclear power plant. The result shows that use of this method meets the response time requirement(100ms).

  • 본 연구에서는 실시간 동적 GPS 측량의 응용을 위해 우선 전국에 분포된 상시관측점들의 공경기준계 성과를 도출하고, 후처리에 의한 연속 동적 GPS 방법과 실시간 동적 GPS 방법을 적용하여 육상과 해상지역에 대한 지형 해석을 시도하였다. 실시간 동적 GPS 측량을 위한 초기 조건과 관측 시간대를 고려한 다음, 후처리에 의한 연속 동적 GPS 측량과 실시간 동적 GPS 측량을 수행하였으며, 본 연구를 의해 실시간으로 GPS 관측자료를 저장할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하여 결과값을 동시에 저장하고 controller를 통해 관측 당시의 위성 상태를 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 실시간으로 관측된 GPS관측값의 위치 정확도는 후처리에 의한 정확도와 같은 정도로 획득할 수 있었으며, 항만의 매립, 준설공사나 하천에서의 유사량 변화 탐지등에 매우 높은 정확도로 수치지형모형을 구축할 수 있었고, 해안 지형의 특성해석에 유용하게 응용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • Real-Time Traversability should be analyzed from the equiped sensors' data in real time for autonomous outdoor navigation. However, it is difficult to find out such traversability that considers the terrain roughness and the vehicle dynamics especially in case of skid type vehicle. The traversability based on real time dynamic analysis was proposed to solve such problem but in navigation with strait driving path. To adapt the method into the navigation with curved driving path, a path following controller should be incorporated into the dynamic model even though it cause the real time problem. In this paper, a dynamic model is proposed to solve the real time problem in the traversability analysis based on real time dynamic simualtion. The dynamic model contains the control dummy which is connected to the vehicle body with a universal joint to follow the curved path without controller. Simulation and experimental results on $6{\times}6$ articulated unmanned ground vehicle demonstrate the method's effectiveness and applicability into the traversability analysis on terrain with bumps.
