  • The purpose of this paper is developing a PML server which is capable of saving and managing effectively the information of vehicles using RFID technology in the logistical and distributive environment. The PML server logs and manages the real-time static and dynamic information about the vehicles in EPC code format which is represented by XML schema and transmitted by the RFID reader to the server. It receives information from SAVANT the RFID middleware and transmits the data to the traffic information management application The main system we developed consists of the EPC data registry, query processor, data converter, vehicle product and instance data storage, system management tool and application API parts.

  • Recently, cyber terror has been occurred frequently based on advanced persistent threat(APT) and it is very difficult to detect these attacks because of new malwares which cannot be detected by anti-virus softwares. This paper proposes and verifies the algorithms to detect the advanced persistent threat previously through real-time network monitoring and combinatorial analysis of big data log. In the future, APT attacks can be detected more easily by enhancing these algorithms and adapting big data platform.

  • 본 논문은 실시간성 서비스인 버스트 트래픽을 갖는 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode)망에서 실시간 연결 수락 제어를 위한 종단간의 지연보장을 알고리즘을 이용하여 실시간 서비스 트래픽 서비스 품질의 성능에 대해 분석하였다. 셀 손실 확률은 QoS(Quality of Service)의 기준이 되므로 제안된 실시간 알고리즘은 일정한 버퍼 메모리 크기와 연결 요청에 대한 수락 여부 즉, 연결 수락 여부의 결정을 위한 하나의 큐잉 서비스를 필요로 한다. 이러한 트래픽 소스 각 타입에 대한 초과된 셀에 대한 셀 손실 확률은 트래픽 소스 타입 전체에 하나만 존재하더라도 요구를 충족시킬 수 없으므로, 본 논문에서 제안된 버스트 트래픽 특성에 따라 지연보장 알고리즘을 이용한 큐 서비스 방식은 기존의 종단간 지연 보장 알고리즘들에서 사용하던 씬 정렬을 이용하지 않고 몇 개의 FIFO 큐로 구성된 라운드로빈 큐를 이용하여 복잡성을 크게 감소시켰으며 실시간 서비스와 비실시간 서비스의 서비스방식을 효과적으로 결합하여 다양한 QoS를 보장해야 하는 ATM망에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있고 제안된 알고리즘에 산출되는 각각의 셀 손실 확률에 충분한 상한선을 제공하는 전형적인 매개변수를 사용하여 성능을 분석한다.

A Study on Standardization Activities of Internet with ATM (Internet과 ATM의 통합 표준화 동향 분석)

  • Recently, growing Internet traffic have come to mandate the speed-up of Internet links. Also, emerging real-time services generally require QoS (Quality of Service) guarantees in networks. ATM is considered to be the most promising subnetwork technology to meet these requirements efficiently. In this paper, we first analyze recent protocol standardization activities in IETF and ATM Forum for integrating Internet with ATM. This includes brief reviews of protocols such as IETF's IP/ATM, NHRP, RSVP and IS/ATM, as well as ATM Forum's LAN Emulation and MPOA. We then identify two types of integration methodologies, and suggest a classification of the integration. Our work might be helpful to outlook better the future direction of standardization in this field.

  • 최근 효율적인 교통 흐름 제어 및 교통정보 서비스 제공을 위한 ITS(Intelligent Transport System)에 대표적인 서비스로는 수집된 정보를 바탕으로 도로의 소통정보를 모니터링하고 이용자들에게 웹이나 지역에 설치된 VMS를 통해 정보를 제공하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 서비스를 위한 GIS가 OpenGIS와 같은 표준화 단체에서 제안하고 있는 구조를 따르지 않고 있으며, 지리정보의 표현도 검증 없이 자체적으로 GIS정보를 이용함으로 인해 서비스의 성능과 품질 저하는 물론 정보통합의 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 OpenGIS에서 공간정보 표현에 권고되고 있는 GML을 기반으로 도로망에 구축되어진 각종 교통정보 기기로부터 ITS로 수집된 실시간 교통정보를 이용하여 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 이를 반영하여 모바일 기기 또는 웹서비스를 통해 교통상황을 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 시스템은 GML을 기반으로 한 지리정보 DB와 각종 교통정보 기기로부터 수집된 실시간 교통정보의 통합을 통해 모바일 기기나 웹을 통해 공통적으로 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 Client/server 시스템에 주안점을 두고 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 설계된 시스템은 전용 공간데이터를 구축하지 않고, 표준화된 공간정보인 GML을 이용한 변환 메커니즘을 통하여 서비스를 제공함으로써 비용과 시간을 절약할 수 있으며, 이 기종의 시스템에 서비스가 가능하도록 하였다.

  • We studied the problem of driver's low vigilance state which is related to the one reason of traffic accidents. In this paper, we developed the drowsiness warning system for a drowsy driver. To extract the eyes and mouth from the driver's facial image in real time, a computer vision method was used. The eye blink duration and yawning were used as measurement parameters of drowsiness detection. When the drowsy state of a driver was detected, the driver was refreshed by the scent generator and the alarm. Also, the driver's bio-signal was acquired and analyzed to measure the vigilance state.

  • Due to the rapid increase in data, various studies are being conducted to efficiently manage the data. In 2025, the total amount of data will increase to more than 163 ZB, and more than a quarter of the data will be a real-time data. As mass storage devices is changed from HDD to SSD, SSD needs own way to manage their data effectively. In this paper, we study the SSD system structure and deduplication management methods of data management related to Flash-SSD. We also propose an application level user file system using deduplication. It is anticipated that it saves storage capacity and minimize reducing performance by unnecessary traffic.

  • In this study, we propose a new approach to impliment autonomous travelling of mobile robot based on obstacle avoidance and voice command. Obstacle Avoidance technology of mobile robpot. It has been used in wide range of different robotics areas to minimize the risk of collisions. Obstacle avoidance of mobile robots are mostly applied in transportation systems such as aircraft traffic control, autonomous cars etc. Collision avoidance is a important requirement in mobile robot systems where they all featured some kind of obstacle detection techniques in order to avoid colliding. In this paper it was illustrated the reliability of voice command and obstacle avoidance for autonomous travelling of mobile robot with two wheels as the purpose of application to the manufacturing process by simulation and experiments.

  • IP address lookup is a function to determine nexthop for a given destination IP address. It takes an important role in modern routers because of its computation time and increasing Internet traffic. TCAM-based IP lookup approaches can exploit the capability of parallel searching but have a limitation of its size due to latency, power consumption, updatability, and cost. On the other hand, multibit trie-based approaches use SRAM which has relatively low power consumption and cost. They reduce the number of memory accesses required for each lookup, but it still needs several accesses. Moreover, the memory efficiency and updatability are proportional to the number of memory accesses. In this paper, we propose a novel architecture using an Indexed Multibit Trie (IMT) which is based on combined TCAM and SRAM. In the proposed architecture, each lookup takes at most two memory accesses. We present how the IMT is constructed so as to be memory-efficient and fast updatable. Experiment results with real-world forwarding tables show that our scheme achieves good memory efficiency as well as fast updatability.

ETLi: Efficiently annotated traffic LiDAR dataset using incremental and suggestive annotation

  • Autonomous driving requires a computerized perception of the environment for safety and machine-learning evaluation. Recognizing semantic information is difficult, as the objective is to instantly recognize and distinguish items in the environment. Training a model with real-time semantic capability and high reliability requires extensive and specialized datasets. However, generalized datasets are unavailable and are typically difficult to construct for specific tasks. Hence, a light detection and ranging semantic dataset suitable for semantic simultaneous localization and mapping and specialized for autonomous driving is proposed. This dataset is provided in a form that can be easily used by users familiar with existing two-dimensional image datasets, and it contains various weather and light conditions collected from a complex and diverse practical setting. An incremental and suggestive annotation routine is proposed to improve annotation efficiency. A model is trained to simultaneously predict segmentation labels and suggest class-representative frames. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm yields a more efficient dataset than uniformly sampled datasets.
