Parameter estimation in a readjustment procedure in the multivariate integrated process control (다변량 통합공정관리의 재수정 절차에서 모수추정)

  • This paper considers the multivariate integrated process control procedure for detecting special causes in a multivariate IMA(1, 1) process. When the multivariate control chart signals, the special cause will be detected and eliminated from the process. However, when the elimination of the special cause costs high or is not practically possible, an alternative action is to readjust the process with approximately modified adjustment scheme. In this paper, we estimate parameters in the readjustment procedure after having a true signal in the multivariate integrated process control.

  • Although readjustment of monitoring system for existing fill dam maintenance is needed by the sustainable increasing of the abandonment rate of monitoring devices by malfunction through the life-cycle of dam, monitoring plans for long-term dam safety has relied on the experience and the opinion of minor expert group without systematic and quantitative analysis on the failure modes and the priority order of monitoring devices on maintenance. In this study the priority order of monitoring devices of existing 5 fill dams was evaluated quantitatively based on the preceding study (Andersen et al, 1999) and the result recommended the establishment of real-time monitoring system for seepage, pore pressure and crest settlement as the readjustment plan for existing fill dam monitoring system. This readjustment plan matches well with the recommendation of PWRI (1984), JCOLD (1986) and the results from Bagherzadeh-Khakkahali and Mirghasemi (2005).

Survey on Residents' Awareness of Housing Environment in Old Housing Districts Created by the Land Readjustment Project in the Modern Age - Focused on Uam-Dong in Cheongju City - (근대기 토지구획정리사업지구 내 노후 주거지의 주거환경에 대한 거주자의 인식 조사 - 청주시 우암동을 대상으로 -)

  • This study is about the research of living environment in residential areas created by the land readjustment projects in the modern era, and recently lifted from Residential Environment Improvement district at the same time. The five criteria for evaluating the residential area are safety, health, convenience, comfort, and sustainability. The level of resident satisfaction in general is as follows. [completely dissatisfy as 5.30%, dissatisfy as 16.29%, neutral as 49.62%, satisfy as 16.29% and completely satisfy as 6.82%]. The results of the five survey items on the residential areas show that residents are aware of the area not as an old residential area to be demolished, but as a comparatively excellent residential area, namely very different results from the designation criteria of the redevelopment area designated by the Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act. If the road conditions and the deterioration of the buildings are judged to be designated as the redevelopment area and to be removed these settlements, the residential areas with social sustainability could demolished. Based on this study, it is necessary to conduct the research to find out the reason for deriving the results of each evaluation item in the succeeding study. These studies are needed to rediscover, to develop and manage the value of many old residential areas scattered in the city centers of local areas.

A Study on the Block Structure of the Land Readjustment Project Districts Focused on the case study of Cheongju City in the 1970's (토지구획정리사업지구의 가구(街區)체계에 관한 연구 -1970년대 청주시 사례를 중심으로-)

  • This study examined the characteristics of a district through the concept of a block system in the physical aspect of the four land readjustment project districts of Cheongju City in the 1970s. The results of this study are as follows. First, the local road system for accessing the main road network and blocks was well established compared with the current urban development standards. On the other hand, since the access roads to the individual lots in the block were not equipped properly, it was difficult to improve a house. Second, according to the characteristics of the block, the Aspect Ratio of blocks was 1: 2 on average and most of those directions was east-west. The area of block from the 1st to 3rd districts was increasing, but districts 4 were decreasing. This also was changed to the shape of a contemporary block system. The larger the size of the block area, the lower the Jeobdoyul. Third, in terms of the characteristics of the lot array, blocks with a multi-row system of $4{\times}4$ or more were lots up to the 1st to 3rd district, but 4th district was improved greatly. Because blocks close a square shape have become excessively poor with Jeobdoyul, it was judged that it is difficult to improve the residential environment. Moreover, as the type of the residential development by the land readjustment project is standardized considerably and this type of land area is extensive, it can be an alternative to control the urban sprawl of suburbs if it finds the way to improve this type of the residential area considering this characteristic.

Major Issues and Tasks of Restructuring Public Records Appraisal System (공공기록 평가제도의 구조와 쟁점 과제)

  • Unless the records appraisal system is properly overhauled, there is no future for public records management. This study aims to highlight challenging issues and present improvement tasks necessary for the readjustment of the public records appraisal system at the national level. First, public records appraisal policies are divided into five categories: i) statements on appraisal policy and selection criteria, ii) appraisal tools such as disposition authorities, iii) subject of appraising, iv) appraisal procedures, and v) responsibility and authority in appraisal and disposition process. Second, the domestic situation is identified for each category. Third, policies of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada are compared, and implications are derived for each category. Fourth and last, the tasks for the readjustment of the public appraisal system are proposed based on these analyses.

Formation of Don-am district and Adaptation of Hanok Area in Seoul (돈암지구 가구(街區)의 형성과 도시한옥의 적응)

  • The Don-am district is a residential area that was supplied in 1936 as a land readjustment project(Tojiguhoekjeongri). The Don-am district was newly supplied with residential areas and urban hanoks were built in large numbers. The Don-am district was influenced by urban planning and legislation at that time. These affected in the layout and plan of urban hanok. Residential block in the Don-am district were developed sequentially from the late 1930s to the 1960s. Residential block were divided by modern construction company and sold by individual lots. The blocks supplied to the Don-am district made uniformly the corner out-off(Ga gak) for creating a vehicle-centered road. So urban hanoks located in the corner plot was transformed in response to the road. Residential blocks in Don-am district was divided into three to four rows. Therefore, alleys were created inside the block. Newly made alleys consist of a privately owned road(Sa-do), a public road(Gong-Do), and open space in the site. And the alleys were used as an entry space for sharing with neighboring. Urban hanoks of Don-am district have had changed and adapted to the formation of these alleys.

Automatic Extraction of the Land Readjustment Paddy for High-level Land Cover Classification (토지 피복 세분류를 위한 경지 정리 논 자동 추출)

  • To fulfill the recent increasement in the public and private demands for various spatial data, the central and local governments started to produce those data. The low-level land cover map has been produced since 2000, yet the production of high-level land covered map has started later in 2010, and recently, a few regions was completed recently. Although many studies have been carried to improve the quality of land that covered in the map, most of them have been focused on the low-level and mid-level classifications. For that reason, the study for high-level classification is still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, we suggested the automatic extraction of land readjustment for paddy land that updated in the mid-level land mapping. At the study, the RapidEye satellite images, which consider efficient to apply in the agricultural field, were used, and the high pass filtering emphasized the outline of paddy field. Also, the binary images of the paddy outlines were generated from the Otsu thresholding. The boundary information of paddy field was extracted from the image-to-map registrations and masking of paddy land cover. Lastly, the snapped edges were linked, as well as the linear features of paddy outlines were extracted by the regional Hough line extraction. The start and end points that were close to each other were linked to complete the paddy field outlines. In fact, the boundary of readjusted paddy fields was able to be extracted efficiently. We could conclude in that this study contributed to the automatic production of a high-level land cover map for paddy fields.

Relationship between Obesity, Social Readjustment Rating, Self-Esteem, Eating Attitude, Depression, Stress Response and Climacteric symptom in Korean Peri-menopausal Overweight Women (한국 과체중 갱년기 도시 여성의 비만도, 일상생활 스트레스, 자존감, 식이태도, 우울증, 스트레스 반응척도와 갱년기 증상의 연관성)

  • Objectives Obesity and climacteric symptom are affected by various cultural, social and psychological factors. This study is performed to recognize the relationship between obesity, climacteric symptom, and other social and psychological factors such as self-esteem, depression, eating attitude, stress response and social readjustment rating. Methods SRRS(social readjustment rating scale), SES(self-esteem scale), SRI(stress response inventory), BDI(Beck depression inventory), KEAT-26 (Korean Eating Attitude Test-26) and Kuperman index were given to 43 peri-menopausal women aged 45-55 and BMI ${\geq}23$. They were given written consent and this study is performed under the permission of institutional review board of Kyung Hee East-west Neo Medical Center. And height, body weight, waist circumference were measured. These variables were treated by correlation and regression analysis for finding effect factors of climacteric symptom. Result BMI and WC were not related to climacteric symptom. There were significant correlation between KEAT-26(r=0.4388, p=0.004), SES (r=-0.4748, p=0.001), SRI(r=0.6941, p<0.001), BDI(r=0.6354, p<0.001) and Kuperman index. In multiple regression, SRI was find to be a prediction factor of Kuperman index.(Kuperman index=19.033+0.7SRI($R^2$=0.490)). Conclusion Climacteric symptom is related to self-esteem, eating attitude, depression and stress response. And the most important prediction factor of climacteric symptom is stress response. So managing of stress response may be essential to treating climacteric syndrome. And it is necessary to study about climacteric symptom with many other effective factors of various peri-menopausal subjects.

  • Geo-spatial information system covers a wide range of applications and technologies and is of great potential interest to many users in government, industry and science. In many civil engineering problems it is necessary to model a landform in order to be able to removed or to be brought in to make the site ready for the proposed developed. The earthwork volume, could be calculated by the trapezoidal formula, Simpson's 1/3 and 3/8 rules. And slope is defined by a plane tangent to the surface as modelled by the digital terrain model at any given point and comprises two components namely, gradient, the maximum rate of change altitude, and aspect, the compass direction of this maximum rate of change. The thesis is the earthwork volume could be counted, readjustment height, slope and aspect analysis of various derived products can be obtained form geo-spatial informations.
