도서관 정보이용교육: Cyber 강좌 개발과 실제 운영 (Cyber Learning Program of a University Library's Information Literacy Education: Its Development and Course Management)

  • 숙명여자대학교에서는 2004학년도 2학기부터 1학년 교양필수 과목인 "글쓰기와 읽기" 과목을 수강하는 모든 학생들이, "도서관 정보이용교육: Cyber 강좌"를 수강한 후 온라인 퀴즈문제를 풀고 과제물을 제출하여 인증을 받도록 하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 "도서관 정보이용교육: Cyber 강좌"의 개발 및 시행을 주관하고 있는 숙명여대 도서관의 강좌 개발배경 및 개발과정, 내용구성 및 구현방법 그리고 실제 운영현황을 서술함으로써, 이 cyber 강좌가 빠르게 그리고 성공적으로 숙명여대의 특화 프로그램으로 정착한 요인을 분석하였다. 또한 cyber 강좌 학습관리시스템(LMS: Learning Management System)의 제반 기술적 문제점과 cyber 강좌 시행의 실제적인 문제점 등을 분석하여 향후 개선책을 제시하였다.

소아에서 말 언어장애 (Speech and language disorders in children)

  • Developmental language disorder is the most common developmental disability in childhood, occurring in 5-8% of preschool children. Children learn language in early childhood, and later they use language to learn. Children with language disorders are at increased risk for difficulties with reading and written language when they enter school. These problems often persist through adolescence or adulthood. Early intervention may prevent the more serious consequences of later academic problems, including learning disabilities. A child's performance in specific speech and language areas, such as phonological ability, vocabulary comprehension, and grammatical usage, is measured objectively using the most recently standardized, norm-referenced tests for a particular age group. Observation and qualitative analysis of a child's performance supplement objective test results are essential for making a diagnosis and devising a treatment plan. Emphasis on the team approach system in the evaluation of children with speech and language impairments has been increasing. Evidence-based therapeutic interventions with short-term, long-term, and functional outcome goals should be applied, because there are many examples of controversial practices that have not been validated in large, controlled trials. Following treatment intervention, periodic follow-up monitoring by a doctor is also important. In addition, a systematized national health policy for children with speech and language disorders should be provided.

English Sounds to Japanese Ears

  • For the learners of English as a foreign language, oral repetition of model sentences is an e essential practice to improve their listening and speaking abilities of English. Skill training of both speech perception and production is involved in this practice. This paper reports on an observation of production e$\pi$ors in such practice made by Japanese college students in my class. The teaching material used is intended for acquainting the learners with basic English rhythm and intonation p patterns. The students were required to repeat each sentence in a series of conversations after a model reading. Although the vocabulary and expressions were rather limited, I monitored different kinds of errors in their repetition. Putting aside intonation, their difficulties are classified into five types; 1. Omission of words or morphemes, 2. Addition of unnecessary words or morphemes, 3. Replacement of words, 4. Japanization of English sounds, 5. Wrong rhythm caused by improper stress assignment. Accurate listening, especially to weakly stressed syllables and to assimilated sounds, as has often been pointed out, is the most difficult part in perception for them. Japanese sound system interferes in production of English sounds. More often than not their knowledge of grammar or the context does not work at all to guess the words they are hearing

효율적인 특허정보 조사를 위한 분류 모형 (A Novel Classification Model for Efficient Patent Information Research)

  • A patent contains detailed information of the developed technology and is published to the public. Thus, patents can be used to overcome the limitations of traditional technology trend research and prediction techniques. Recently, due to the advantages of patented analytical methodology, IP R&D is carried out worldwide. The patent is big data and has a huge amount, various domains, and structured and unstructured data characteristics. For this reason, there are many difficulties in collecting and researching patent information. Patent research generally writes the Search formula to collect patent documents from DB. The collected patent documents contain some noise patents that are irrelevant to the purpose of analysis, so they are removed. However, eliminating noise patents is a manual task of reading and classifying technology, which is time consuming and expensive. In this study, we propose a model that automatically classifies The Noise patent for efficient patent information research. The proposed method performs Patent Embedding using Word2Vec and generates Noise seed label. In addition, noise patent classification is performed using the Random forest. The experimental data is published and registered with the USPTO among the patents related to Ocean Surveillance & Tracking Network technology. As a result of experimenting with the proposed model, it showed 73% accuracy with the label actually given by experts.

비즈니스 영어 업무 능력에 대한 TOEIC의 예측 타당도 검증과 델파이 연구 (A Study on the Development of Business English Tests Based on an Analysis of the Predictive Validity of the TOEIC and a Delphi Study of Working Skills in English to be Assessed)

  • The TOEIC has widely used to evaluate business English proficiency in Korea, but those who achieved high scores still often face difficulties in performing their duties in English at work. This implies that the test may not evaluate business English proficiency effectively enough. With an ultimate goal of proposing an effective way of assessing business English proficiency, therefore, his study analyzed the predictive validity of the TOEIC. A correlation analysis was conducted between TOEIC scores of 64 office workers of multinational companies and their working skills in English evaluated by themselves, and their colleagues and seniors. Its results illustrated a significant correlation between their listening and reading scores and their working skills measured by all the groups, but not between their scores and their working skills in speaking and writing. In addition, the study did a delphi study to identify working skills in English to be assessed in business English tests and a contents analysis of the TOEIC. The results suggest business English tests should be able to assess working skills by work types and more direct testing of working skills in speaking and writing is needed.

기하 증명 읽기 이해 모델의 적용 효과

  • In mathematics, the education of the geometry proof has been playing an important role in promoting the ability for logical thinking by means of developing the deductive reasoning. However, despite of those importance mentioned above, considering the present condition for the education of the geometry proof in middle schools, it is still found that most of classes are led mainly by teachers, operating the cramming system of eduction, and students in those classes have many difficulties in learning the geometry proof course. Accordingly this thesis suggests the other method that is distinguished from previous proof educations. The thesis of Kai-Lin Yang and Fou-Lai Lin on 'A Model of Reading Comprehension of Geometry Proof (RCGP)', which was published in 2007, have various practical examples based on the model. After composing classes based on those examples and instructing the geometry proof, found out a problem. And then advance a new teaching model that amendment and supplementation However, it is considered to have limitation because subjects were minority and classes were operated by man-to-man method. Hopefully, the method of proof education will be more developed through performing more active researches on this in the nearest future.

읽기 장애와 주의력 결핍/과잉 운동 장애아동의 주의력 과제와 음소 변별 과제 수행 비교 - 청각 과제를 중심으로 - (A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON AUDITORY ATTENTION AND PHONEME DIFFERENTIAL ABILITY AMONG CHILDREN WITH READING DISABILITY AND WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT/HYPERACTIVITY)

  • 목 적:본 연구에서는 읽기 장애 아동들(Reading Disability)은 빠르게 제시되는 언어 자극을 처리하는데 핵심적인 문제를 갖고 있으며, 주의력 결핍/과잉 운동 장애 아동들(ADHD)은 반응의 억제에 어려움을 보인다고 가정하였다. 읽기 장애와 주의력 결핍/과잉 운동 장애 그리고 공존 장애 아동 집단을 대상으로 핵심적인 인지 특성을 밝혀보고자 시각/청각 주의력과 음소 변별 검사에서 세 집단의 수행 차이를 비교하였다. 방 법:1차 연구에서는 ADHD 아동 28명과 RD+ADHD 아동 16명에게 주의력의 차이를 평가하기 위해 개별적으로 전산화된 주의력 장애 진단 검사(ADS)를 실시한 후 시각적 주의력과 청각적 주의력의 집단 간 수행 차이를 전체 지능의 영향을 통제하고 비교하였다. 2차 연구에서는 RD+ADHD/RD 아동 13명과 ADHD 아동 13명, 정상 아동 12명에게 전산화된 음소 변별 검사를 실시한 후 지능의 영향을 통제하고 세 집단의 수행 차이를 비교하였다. 결 과:시각적 주의력에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 청각적 주의력에서는 RD+ADHD 집단이 유의하게 어려움을 보였으며, 반응시간의 변산성이 증대되는 경향성이 나타났다. 음소 변별 검사에서는 RD 수반 집단과 ADHD 집단이 모두 정상 통제 집단에 비해 오류를 더 많이 보였고, RD 수반 집단과 ADHD 집단간에 다른 수행 패턴을 보였다. 논 의:ADHD들은 RD의 수반여부에 상관없이 반응 억제와 일관적인 주의력 유지에 어려움을 보였고 RD가 공존하는 경우 청각적 주의력의 문제가 증폭되었다. 음소 변별 검사에서 RD가 목표반응에 정확하게 반응하는데 어려움은 나타났으나, ADHD와는 유의한 수행 차이를 나타내지 않았다.

국내 시각장애인의 의약품 안전사용 실태에 대한 심층면접조사 (Qualitative Study for Medication Use among Visually Impaired in Korea)

  • Objective: The visually impaired have limited access to health care services and related information, and thus, they can have serious hurdles against properly taking medications. Despite that it is important to improve self-care ability of the visually impaired for correct medication use, there have been few studies investigating their needs for health care services in Korea, particularly focusing on proper medication usage. This study is to explore safety-related issues regarding mediation usage among the visually impaired based on in-depth interview. We particularly focus on any obstacles for safe use of medicines including experience on medication-related adverse effects in order to provide preliminary evidence for policy measures to improve proper medication use among the visually impaired. Methods: Study sample was visually impaired individuals who resided in Seoul area and were registered in the National Association of Visually Impaired. The association helped the process of recruiting the study participants. In-depth interview for each study participants was conducted. Each interview was recorded and later converted into a written script to extract core contents for the analysis. Results: The study participants comprised of three women (42.9%) and four men (57.1%). One was in his 20's, and there were four participants in 30's and two in 40's. Fully impaired participants were majority (5 out of 7). Limitation to physical access to health care providers and health information were the key factors to hamper safe medication utilization among the study participants. Difficulty reading medication information and may take the wrong medication or incorrect doses of medication, resulting in serious consequences, including overdose or inadequate treatment of health problems. Visually impaired patients report increased anxiety related to medication management and must rely on others to obtain necessary drug information. Pharmacists have a unique opportunity to pursue accurate medication adherence in this special population. This article reviews literature illustrating how severe medication mismanagement can occur in the visually impaired elderly and presents resources and solutions for pharmacists to take a larger role in adherence management in this population. Conclusion: The visually impaired had difficulties reading medication information and identifying medicines, and took incorrect doses of medications. Public support for safe medication use and medication management among the visually impaired is necessary.

챈트 및 읽기 발화조건에 따른 한국어 모음 포먼트 비교 (A comparison of Korean vowel formants in conditions of chanting and reading utterances)

  • 모음의 조음은 발화 시 자음과 결합하여 인접한 자음의 조음에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 정확한 조음위치를 형성하고 적절한 구강개방을 이루는 것이 중요하나 언어병리 분야의 다양한 대상자들은 이에 어려움을 보인다. 따라서 이들을 위한 치료를 위해서 언어의 특성을 적절히 반영하고 있는 노래(챈트)가 효과적인 도구로 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 챈트조건과 읽기조건에 따른 모음 특성을 비교하여 챈트조건이 모음 발화 강화의 수단으로 적절한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 한국어를 모국어로 하는 20~30대 일반 성인 60명(남 30명, 여 30명)이었으며, 모음 /이/, /아/, /우/가 포함된 챈트 및 읽기 과제를 각 4회씩 반복 발화하도록 하여 녹음한 뒤 음성 자료를 분석하였다. 음향 변수를 분석한 결과, 읽기조건과 비교해 챈트조건 발화에서 F1, F2 값이 더 커지고, 모음 삼각형 무게중심의 이동 방향이 전방화, 하강화 된다는 의미 있는 결과를 확인하였다. 남녀 비교 시 여성의 값이 유의하게 컸고, 4회 반복 발화 간에 차이를 보이지 않아 결과의 신뢰도를 높였다. 발화조건 중 단어 수준과 구 수준에 따른 차이는 대부분 보이지 않았으며, 챈트조건의 음악요소에는 악센트가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 챈트의 사용이 웅얼거리는 듯한 발화를 하는 대상자들에게 적절한 구강개방을 이루도록 도울 수 있으며, 후방화된 조음 위치로 인해 오조음을 보이는 이들에게 모음의 무게중심을 이동시키는 효과적인 방법이 될 것임을 시사한다.

자기보고식 음성장애 설문지 문항의 가독성 평가 (Evaluation of the readability of self-reported voice disorder questionnaires)

  • 음성장애 평가 시, 음성문제로 인해 개인이 느끼는 불편감, 삶의 질 등의 주관적인 자기보고식 평가의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 자기보고식 설문은 대상자가 직접 읽고 실시하는 것이므로, 대상자가 문항을 충분히 이해하지 못하면 평가 결과에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 현재 임상에서 사용되고 있는 한국어판 음성장애 자기보고식 설문지 11가지(KVHI, KAVI, KVQOL, K-SVHI, K-VAPP, K-VPPC, TVSQ, K-VDCQ, K-VFI, K-VTDS, K-VoiSS)를 선정하여 텍스트 등급 및 복잡도, 어휘 빈도 및 등급, 어휘 다양도의 가독성 분석을 실시하였다. 추가적으로 한국어판과 대응하는 원판 설문지와 아동용 설문지에 대한 가독성 평가를 실시하여 한국어판 성인용 설문지와의 결과 차이를 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 한국어판 성인용 음성장애 설문지는 문해력이 낮은 집단에게 사용하는 것에 어려움이 없을 것으로 밝혀졌다. 평가자는 대상자의 읽기 수준에 따라 평가를 진행해야 하며, 추후 개발 및 수정에도 읽기 난이도를 고려할 필요가 있다.
