스핀스레이법 의한 $Fe{3-X}-Ni_XO_4$ 페라이트 박막의 제작과 그 특성 (The Properties and Manufacturing of $Fe{3-X}-Ni_XO_4$Films by Spin-Spray Ferrite Method)

  • We have performed spin-spray ferrite plating of $Fe{_3}{-X}-Ni_XO_4$(X=0.17~0.26) films in the temperature region $T=80~95[^{\circ}C]$. A reaction solution and an oxidizing solution were supplied to a reaction chamber by supply pump. The solubility limit of Ni increases as the substrate temperature increase, from X=0.17 at $80[^{\circ}C]$ to X=0.26 at $95[^{\circ}C]$. All the films are polycrystalline with no preferential orientation, and the magnetization exhibits no definite anisotropy. Grain size in the films increases as X increases, reaching $0.87[\mu{m}]$ at X=0.26.

Analysis of Peroxide Curing Agents in EVA Compounds and Vulcanizates

  • Poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) compounds and vulcanizates containing dicumyl peroxide (DCP) (HD) were prepared, and the curing agent and reaction products were analyzed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Samples containing trially cyanurate (TAC) and DCP (HDT) were also prepared and analyzed. Some raw DCP were decomposed in the injector region of GC to produce acetophenone. DCP was detected in the HD compound but was not observed in the HD vulcanizate, and instead acetophenone and 2-phenyl-2-propanol were detected. Both DCP and TAC were observed in the HDT compound but not in the HDT vulcanizate, where acetophenone and 2-phenyl-2-propanol were detected. Thus, some of the DCP decomposed during the compounding process. The formation mechanism for acetophenone and 2-phenyl-2-propanol during the crosslinking reaction was identified, and differences in the crosslinking reactions of HD and HDT compounds were discussed.

EPs-TFP 마이닝 기법을 이용한 단백질 Disorder/Order 지역 분류 (Protein Disorder/Order Region Classification Using EPs-TFP Mining Method)

  • 단백질은 서열의 disorder 구역이 생물학적 반응을 일으켜 order로 변하는 과정에서 그 기능을 하게 되므로 서열 데이터에서 disorder 구역과 order 구역을 분리하는 것은 단백질의 3차 구조 및 특성을 예측하는데 반드시 필요하다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 효율적인 disorder와 order 구역 분류를 위해서 단백질의 특정 특징에 치우치지 않는 분류 결과를 얻으면서, 분류 속도를 향상 시킬 수 있도록 서열 데이터를 이용한 분류/예측 기법을 제안한다. 출현패턴 기반의 EPs-TFP 기법은 중복 출현패턴이 제거된 필수 출현패턴만을 이용하는 분류/예측 기법이다. 이 분류 기법은 disorder 구역의 서열 출현패턴들을 발견하며, 이러한 서열 출현패턴은 disorder 구역에서는 빈발하지만 order 구역에서는 상대적으로 빈발하지 않는 패턴들이다. 또한 제안 알고리즘의 성능 향상을 위해서 기존의 P-tree, T-tree 개념의 TFP 기법을 확장하여 분류/예측 기법으로 적용하였다. EPs-TFP 기법의 성능평가를 위해서 Disprot 4.9와 CASP 7 데이터를 활용하였고, disorder/order 구역을 분류한 결과, 민감도 73.6, 특이도 69.5, 정확도 74.2를 보였다.

  • 化學發癌物質인 縮合炭化水素, 헤테로고리化合物 그리고 디메틸아미노아조벤젠 및 그의 유도체들의 電子狀態를 HMO로 調査하고 그들의 發癌活性을 論議하였다. K-領域의 두 原子와 그의 이웃한 L-領域의 原子들의 親核反應의 프론티어 전자밀도의 合의 값이 0.5 以上인 化合物들은 發癌活性에 있어서 實驗結果와 一致함을 알았다. 따라서 K-領域과 L-領域이 發癌作用의 첫단계로서 化學發癌物質과 生體成分과의 結合이 얻어진다는 것이 보고되어 있는 分子錯物의 形成에 重要한 役割을 한다고 생각한다.

  • Glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) are a group of intermediate filaments that are distributed in the cytoplasm of many type of glial cells. The purpose of this study was to determine change of GFAP immunoreactivity(GFAP-IR) in rat trigeminal ganglion satellite cells in response to pulp exposure. The immunohistochemistry was carried out using the avidinbiotin-peroxidase complex(ABC) method and subsequently stained with AEC(3-aminoethyl-9-carbasol). 1. Contol group; Central root astrocytes had strong GFAP-IR, but ganglion satellite cells occasionlly had GFAP-IR. This reaction patterns of ganglion satellite cells was not concenturated in any specific region of trigeminal ganglion. 2. Three day pulp exposure group; There was a highly GFAP-IR in satellite cells of trigeminal ganglion in maxillary region. GFAP-IR in neighboring mandibular and ophthalmic regions was less intense compared to maxillary region. 3. Seven day pulp exposure group; In this group, GFAP-IR that was increased compared to control group was seen in the maxillary region. But GFAP-IR was less intense compared to three day pulp exposure group. These results suggest that GFAP in satellite cell increase in specific region of trigeminal ganglion after pulp exposure and offer useful tool in trigeminal pain research.

도시 규모의 대기오염 농도 예측 (Simulation of Atmospheric Pollutants Concentration in the Urban Scale)

  • To predict the effects of air pollutant in the coastal region, we have developed the air pollutant model, the reaction model and the deposition of NO, $NO_2, and O_3$. And the numerical model of air pollutant concentration employed the nested technique to calculate with the higher resolution for the area. The nested technique used two grid systems, one for the large scale calculating region with the coarse mesh grid (CMG) and the other for the small scale region with the fine grid (FMG). In other to prove the validity of the simulation model the calculations were conducted for the present situation. The results of them reasonably agree with the observed data and proved the validity of the model.

  • The purpose of this study is to find through the algorithm of traditional region theory how nature has been recognized and occupied and harmoniously used by human beings. As seen Korean traditional villages, the natural elements such as mountains and streams in Yongdam are more remarkable than the artificial elements. The people in the village regards a radius of 4-12 km as their territory and an ideal space harmonized with natural landscape. The landscape structure of Yongdam shows traditional fengshui form and has a all the characteristics that Korean rural villages have. The landscape elements, such as mountains, rivers, plains, trees, soil color, etc. characterize Yongdam village and make the landscape of Yongdam a unique place. Traditional region theory is to study an emotional reaction to the quality of life, and landscape of a settlement. And it should be a basic theory to understand the whole landscape.

Secretion of escherichia coli $\beta$-lactamase from bacillus subtilis with the aid of usufully constructed secretion vector

  • The secretion vector with promoter and signal sequence region of neutral protease gene (npr) from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens was constructed by the technique of polymerase chain reaction (PCR). A unique restriction iste was introduced into the 3' of the signal coding region by the synthesis of PCR primer. To demonstrate the function of cloned promoter and signal sequence, we used the E. coli .betha.-lactamase structural gene as a foreign gene. The signal sequence of .betha.-lactamase gene was deleted by Bal31 exonuclease and only mature region was introduced into the secretion vector. Bacillus subtilis cells transformed by the recombinant vector synthesized the fusion protein and were also capable of removing the signal peptide from the original fusion protein, as judged by the assay of .betha.-lactamase activity and secretion into the growth medium by western blotting.
