  • Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex. It is important first of all that describe correctly system requirement until configuration of system, design, manufacture, installation and test verification so that the complicated urban transit system is to act safety and reliable and to display target Performance and function properly. The system requirement assist the system developer to comprehensive the performance and function of system in basic design. Therefore, In this paper wishes to study way to analyze system of system requirement and apply to Urban transit.

  • The Seoul Metro Line No.1 is a very complex service line which carries over 620 thousand passengers a day as a linked line to the satellites of the Seoul Metropolitan. Since the Line No.1 had its voyage service in 1974. it has been aged by the time, which resulted in the needs for the refurbishment to the new system, and as its system refurbishment was suggested to be implemented without any stop of the service, the signaling system interoperability was planned for this refurbishment, and finally it became a desirable reference of the metro signaling system overall refurbishment

  • Recent advances in computer technology have brought more dependence on software to train control systems. Hence, the safety assurance of the vital software running on the railway system is very critical task and yet, not many works have been done. While much efforts have been reported to improve the safety of electronic hardware, not so much systematic approaches to evaluate the safety of software, especially for the vital software running on board train controllers. In this paper, we propose the guide line of actually applicable software safety assessment in train control systems. And we demonstrate the results of developing a new tool based on web system version for software assessment management.

틸팅 차량용 시뮬레이터 적용을 위한 통제 및 가상현실 영상 시스템 개발 (Development of a Control and Virtual Realty Visual System for the Tilting Train Simulator)

  • This paper presents a development of the control and the virtual reality visual system for a tilting train simulator. The user of the tilting train simulator is able to set up the environmental and operating conditions through the user interface provided by the control system. In the control system, an arbitrary track which has user-defined curve radius, length and direction can be generated. The virtual reality visual system provides an artificial environment that is composed of several facilities such as station, platform, track, bridge, tunnel and signaling system. In order to maximize the reality, all of the 3D modeling were based on the real photographs taken in the Jungang line. A dome screen with 1600mm diameter was used to maximize the view angle. The hemispherical screen can ensure the view angle of the 170 degrees of vertical direction and 135 degrees of lateral direction.

  • LRT System Application Project is performed for the purpose of technical advancement and stabilization of K-AGT system from the viewpoint of practical use and commercialization. For those purpose, the performance test and evaluation procedure for signaling system have been developed, including the scheme of verifying the performance and function of signaling system under driverless multiple train operation environment. In this paper, multiple train operation scheme in K-AGT test line is presented. Test schemes for maintaining the safety distance between trains, operation scenario considering shunting and turning of train, and dia operation schemes in test line are reviewed while researching test vehicle features, route condition and running pattern. Additional equipments for testing each scheme are also reviewed.

  • The rubber type AGT system is operated by driverless that signaling is CBTC type. The system function is acomplished exactly to obtain the safety and reliability of system and the system is designed to minimize risk. In order to design the system, the functional analysis is performed. Recently functional analysis is performed by RDD-100 which is used and verified by aerospace, military, etc. Therefore, The design tool RDD-100 is used to perform functional analysis in AGT system development project.

  • 국내 철도의 관제는 신호, 전철전력, 통신, 설비 등 분야별로 고유한 시스템으로 구축되어 있다. 각 분야의 관제시스템은 현장 설비의 센싱 데이터를 중앙관제로 전송하는 매체와 프로토콜이 서로 상이하다. 안전관제시스템은 각 분야의 안전에 관련된 데이터를 모두 수집하여 철도 사고를 예측하고 예방하는 것을 목적으로 하며 표준 프로토콜을 사용한다. 안전관련 데이터는 기존 관제시스템의 현장 데이터 전송장치에서 데이터 수집이 필요하다. 이때 중요한 점은 기존 관제시스템 통신에 영향 없이 데이터를 수집하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 데이터를 수집하는 방법으로 네트워크 트래픽 감시나 보안용으로 사용되는 스니핑을 이용한다. 스니핑 장치를 사용할 때 야기되는 문제점을 설명하고 해결 방법으로 패킷 변환 노드를 제안하였다. 추가적으로 프로토타입을 개발하여 기능과 성능 테스트를 수행하여 S/W아키텍처와 패킷 변환 과정에 대해 검증하였다.

  • A Train control system is intended to assure train operation safety and to improve train operation efficiency. To perform these missions, the Train Control System consists of train safety space control part, train route control part and train operation management part. Train control technology changed from track circuit based to wireless based. And Wireless based train control technologies were developed by some railway signaling companies in Korea. To commercialize these control technologies, the development project is carried now. This project did analyze system requirements, and made the system development specification. Now this project finished system functions allocation, which will be performed by some subsystem. This paper describes roles of each function and the allocation of these functions to each subsystem.

  • Urban transit consists of signaling system, railway systems, power facilities systems, information and communication system and the other complicated facilities. There are many new technologies to analysis the requirement of for information and communication system. The more system is complicate, the more system design error occur frequently in development of information and communication system. Now, we need to reduce the error by analysis the behavior of the requirements of it. Thus in this paper, we suggest the way to analysis the behavior of the requirements by using the computer aided design tools.
