철도종사자 안전교육훈련 실행을 위한 지침 개발 (Development of Guideline for railway operations safety education and training execution)

  • The considerable numbers of accidents have been occurred in railway industrials due to human errors by the railway operators, and we recognised that the design of work and the working environment influence the way people behavior. Human factors are a significant contribute to the occurrence of incidents, and that safety education and training guideline need to be designed to railway safety. In order to develop the education and training program guideline for railway operators, we performed investigation not only existing internal training programs and external railway and other industrial's training programs but also education engineering theory and expert interview. As a result we make up guideline to education and training program. The guideline are composed 10 section.

  • When it essentially designs and develops the Railway Signal System H/W and S/W, It requires base to build an environment which the safety of the complete system can be certified objectively. It is not rational choice to progress the safety certification of each of the subsystems to ensure reliability from an economic point of view. Furthermore, Even though H/W and S/W already certificated the safety, In case of changing subsystem to comprise relevant system, The safety certification of its parts newly must proceed. This study to solve these problems covers safety H/W platform which is commonly applicable to composition plan at Ground railway signaling systems such as CBTC, ETCS, CBI and safety-based modeling approach with S/W development tools (SCADE) and certificated O/S (Pike) to build the development environment. In addition, When it designs and develops safety S/W, This study explains structure to separate the data section which for logical operations and logical operations itself and provides guideline to support the certification through minimizing changes to the software.

  • 정거장 또는 차량기지 구내에서 이루어지는 입환은 국내 관련 법규에서 정의, 구분 및 방법이 명확하게 제시되어 있지 않다. 이로 인하여 입환시 충돌사고가 철도차량운전사고 중 가장 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 따라서 입환 운전시 충돌사고를 줄이면서 효율적인 운영을 위해서는 체계적인 철도차량 안전운전 원칙의 제시가 필요하다. 입환시 충돌사고를 줄이기 위한 연구의 일환으로서, 본 연구에서는 열차운전방식과 입환의 특징을 비교하고, 열차안전운전원칙에 따른 구내운전 안전원칙을 제시하였다. 새로 제안 된 접근 방법은 안전과 효율성의 개선 분석 및 현장 응용 프로그램에서 확인하였다.

  • High speed and large transfer capability of railroad has been an important issue in Korean since KTX opening at 2004. Improvement projects for railway electrification are progressed in the conventional line as well as high speed line because various operation plan is performed such as interaction between high speed line and conventional line and operation of tilting train etc. Especially, railway electrification has many advantages which are cost effective and eco-friendly. But it also has some problems such as construction costs and accidents due to electrification. Therefore this paper developed measuring index of electrification railway benefit. By comparing between diesel and electrical locomotive, the operations of before and after the electrification and measurements quantitative index such as energy efficiency, enlargement of transfer capability, environmental pollution and maintenance and efficiency of operation is presented. In the future, Overall benefit and cost of railway electrification will be analyzed.

  • In railway signalling system, there are several kinds of signal system such as signals, signs, marker. The signals allows train to go or not, the signs permit to communicate between railway men, and the marks indicate status of railway lines. In KNR, the application of the signal systems are defined in railway operational regulations, operational related regulation, Operation safety critical system manipulation manual, and so on. In this paper, we extracted regulations for signalling system operation from related regulations, reviewed compatibility and contradiction for signalling system operations. We tried to check logical integrity of informal signalling operation regulation using formal method.

  • Recently, a double deck train is considered as the one of solutions for efficient and comfortable railroad transportation systems on busy lines without any big investment on existing railroad infra-structures in many countries. However, prior to the operations of double deck trains on existing lines, careful investigations should be performed since the double deck trains have big cross sections, high mass centers and no enough spaces for mounting electric equipments. In this paper, several operational cases of double deck trains in other countries have been reviewed for preparing double deck train operations in Korea.

  • 2004년 시행된 철도구조개혁은 철도산업의 생산성에 대한 효율성을 높이기 위하여 철도운영과 철도시설관리를 이원화 하였다. 그러나 본래의 취지와는 달리 기존 시설물 유지관리에 관한 인력의 대부분이 운영기관에 귀속되어 있어 실질적인 유지관리 업무는 철도운영자에 의하여 수행되고 있다. 철도시설관리자의 역할은 철도운영자가 유지보수 업무에 따른 비용 산정에 관한 업무만 국가로부터 위탁을 받아 행정적인 처리만 수행하고 있다. 이러한 불완전한 구조개혁은 향후 철도환경변화에 따라 다수의 운영자가 존재할 경우 철도 시설관리에 대한 역할과 책임 구분이 불명확한 문제가 발생하여 철도 운행의 안전을 위협할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 동일 시설물을 다수의 철도운영자가 사용한다는 가정 하에 철도운행 안전 확보를 위하여 철도시설관리자가 철도시설물 유지보수 업무를 효율적으로 수행 할 수 있는 유지보수 업무 및 조직 설정 방안을 제시하였다.

데이터 큐브 모델과 SVM을 이용한 철도 선로전환기의 교체시기 탐지 (Replacement Condition Detection of Railway Point Machines Using Data Cube and SVM)

  • 철도 선로전환기는 열차의 진로를 현재의 궤도에서 다른 궤도로 제어하는 장치이다. 선로전환기의 노후화로 인한 이상 상황은 탈선 등과 같은 심각한 문제를 발생할 수 있기 때문에, 선로전환기의 적절한 교체시기를 결정하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 철도 현장에서 획득한 선로전환기의 전류신호로부터 다차원 데이터 큐브를 구성하고 OLAP(On-Line Analytical Processing) 분석을 통하여 체계적으로 "교체가 필요한 데이터"와 "교체 시점이 아닌 데이터" 집합을 정제하여 분류하였다. 또한 선로전환기의 교체시기 탐지 문제를 이진 분류 문제로 해석하여 이진 분류기의 대표적 모델인 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 탐지기로 설계함으로써 선로전환기의 노후화에 따른 적절한 교체시기를 탐지하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이때, 입력되는 전류 신호를 DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform)와 PCA(Principal Components Analysis) 기법으로 고차원의 특징벡터 신호를 정보의 손실을 최소화하면서 저차원의 특징벡터로 변환한다. 실제 국내에서 운행 중인 선로전환기의 이상상황 정보가 포함된 대규모의 전류 신호를 이용하여 제안하는 시스템의 성능을 실험적으로 검증한 바 98%를 넘는 탐지 정확도를 확인하였다.

Raynoise를 이용한 철도소음의 예측에 관한 연구 - 예측식과 Raynoise모델링의 비교 - (A Study on Prediction of Railway Noise Using Raynoise Modeling - A comparison of predicting expressions and Raynoise simulations -)

  • With the rapid industrial development, railways have become a main traffic means of transportation. However, rail traffic noise and vibration have become a major problem in urban areas which is a very serious issue for the living environment. Especially, railway noise induced by rail operations has influenced on the residents living near railway tracks. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Raynoise modeling in railway applications. Generally, my acoustics have been used to investigate the effectiveness of noise barriers in railway applications and barriers are modeled using the commercial software Raynoise. A-weighted sound pressure level have been measured at six locations, 4m from the track and are compared with experimental values. Based on the analysis of the results, Comparison between numerical and experimental values are within 1dB (A). Also, when a train is m through the Raynoise modeling, the general influential sphere of railway noise can be determined. Therefore, this study will be using basic data in establishing effective railway noise prevention plans far the future. Also, we could know that is applicable of Raynoise modeling at railway noise.

에너지저장시스템의 서울메트로 2호선 적용 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect of Applying Energy Storage System on SeoulMetro Line 2)

  • The recent environmental protection trend requires more strict energy saving, therefore every transportation system should reduce energy consumption to the minimum value. High-efficiency operation system, energy saving and CO2 emissions shall be addressed as important issue in railway system. These issues are the most essential factors of railway, compared to major public transportation system. Recently, saving energy in the electric railway system has been studied. For such new energy saving, the Energy storage system is considered for saving energy. Energy saving is possible by efficient use of regenerated energy. Regenerated energy is recycled amongst vehicles by mean of charge and discharge corresponding to powering and braking of electric vehicle operations. This energy saving contributes to cut CO2 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling regenerated energy demonstrate significant effect on peak cut of consumption energy in railway substation. Absorption of excess energy avoids regeneration failure due to high traction voltage. This paper presents effects by applying the energy storage system to SeoulMetro Line 2.
