Transabdominal Augmentation of Contralateral Breast in TRAM Breast Reconstruction (횡복직근 피판을 이용한 유방 재건시 복부 절개선을 통한 반대측 유방 확대술)

  • Purpose: Introduction of the mammary implant through the abdominal route has been well known since late 1960s, but the use of transabdominal route for contralateral breast augmentation in transverse rectus abdominis musculocutaneous (TRAM) flap breast reconstruction patients has not been reported in Korean literature. The authors report their experience with technical points as well as the selection of the appropriate patients. Methods: Simultaneous contralateral augmentation mammaplasty through transabdominal route was performed in 11 patients who underwent TRAM breast reconstruction from August 2003 to May 2008 with a mean follow up of 27 months. The pocket was created under direct vision: 3 subglandular, 7 subpectoral, and 1 dual plane was dissected. Eight saline and 3 silicone gel implants were used with an average volume of 165 cc. Results: There were no complications such as infection, hematoma, implant displacement, and capsular contracture. The result was well maintained throughout the follow up period. Conclusion: Transabdominal route could be recommended in selected patients for contralateral augmentation in TRAM breast reconstruction.

Tree based Route Optimization in Nested NEMO Environment (중첩 NEMO 환경에서 트리 기반 라우트 최적화 기법)

  • This paper propose the issue of connecting nested NEMO (Network Nobility) networks to global IPv6 networks, while supporting IPv6 mobility. Specifically, we consider a self-addressing including topology information IPv6-enabled NEMO infrastructure. The proposed self-organization addressing protocol automatically organized mobile routers into free architecture and configuration their global IPv6 addresses. BU(binding update) to MR own HA and internal rouging, hosed on longest prefix matching and soft state routing cache, are specially designed for IPv6-based NEMO. In conclusion, numeric analysis ore conducted to show more efficiency of the proposed routing protocols than other RO (Route Optimization) approaches.

A Routing Metric to Improve Route Stability in Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks

  • The hop count routing metric is widely used in routing protocols of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) due to its simplicity and effectiveness. With a lower hop count route, fewer transmissions are required to send a packet from the source to the destination. This can improve the throughput of a network because fewer transmissions results in less channel contention and interference. Despite this, the hop count routing metric may not be ideal for mobile scenarios where the topology of a network changes constantly and rapidly. In this paper, we propose to increase route stability in mobile WSNs by discovering paths that are more stable during route discoveries using routing metrics. Two routing metrics were proposed, the true beauty of these routing metrics lies in the fact that they can even be used even without specialized hardware such as GPS and other sensors. We implemented the proposed routing metrics in the AODV routing protocol and found that they are highly effective and outperform other stability-based routing metrics and the hop count routing metric.

  • The depth electrode technique, especially using the occipito-temporal route is widely used in the clinic, since it is known to be the most precise method about the invasive study of the mesial temporal lobe epilepsy. The depth electrode with the occipito-temporal route has been applied with manual calculation of MR images. Inherently there are some factor causing significant errors due to geometrical axis alignment, such as miss alignment of horizontal or vertical cutting line. In order to correct it in manually, it takes a long time. In this study, authors has developed the software for automate calculation of MRI wording for instance calculation and for the no time delaying operation. Authors could show that this software is useful for the clinic after applying if for 33 cases of the patients.

  • This study is about current operating system and development process if remote island route. 14 companies are providing safe transportation service for remote island residents with total 30 boots on Z7 routes. Each route transit analysis shows tint the number of passenger tends to increase every year. In order to enhance customer satisfaction, more constructive improvement is demanded, such as implementing operation evaluation on each charter service provider.1he result obtained from this study is to be utilized as basic document for remote island route development process in semi-long run basis.

  • VE of the scripture season enterprises and it respected LCC analyzes from the research which it sees and to use AHP techniques and definite LCC techniques and probabilistic LCC techniques selects the optimum route the case study which it executed. It presented the quality rating model in about the resultant most route lascivious at the time of VE evaluation, in order to select the alternative of optimum AHP techniques which are one in decision-making technique and an evaluation item by weight and a grade it applied the mountaintop it did. Also the definite LCC analyzer law departments of existing together it applied the probabilistic LCC techniques which use Monte Carlo Simulation in about analytical prices and reliability height boil. The economical efficiency was excellent with VE/LCC analytical resultant route and facility size abridgment, the rivers most it will be able to minimize an environmental effect with short distance traverse, the selection this hit preparation LCC which separates from the land use side decreased, the value (V) above 22.0% with the fact that it improves. And, the reliability of the probabilistic LCC analytical resultant analytical results in compliance with Monte Carlo Simulation with 90.3% was very analyzed with the fact that it is a high level.

  • In this study, the improved large-scale synthetic route for epinastine hydrochloride, the second-generation antihistamine, was developed. The original synthetic route involves the synthesis of an aminomethyl derivative, the main intermediate, and in this process hazardous materials such as very toxic phosgene and sodium cyanide along with the explosive and expensive aluminum chloride and lithium aluminum hydride were used. In order to improve the synthetic route, we developed industrially very useful process to prepare the aminomethyl intermediate by the synthesis of the phthalimidomethyl derivative first and easy removal of the phthalyl group using hydrochloric acid or methyl hydrazine, and hazardous materials and expensive reagents were excluded in this process.

  • The amount of home deliveries are increasing day by day owing to the increment of the on-line market. This environment brings along generating many delivery companies and keen competition with each other in its customer hold Therefore, this study aims at the development of a shortest delivery route search demonstration system using Ant Algorithm. The developed system reduces the time consumption significantly in search of delivery path and time of the products for the novice delivery driver as well as experienced driver. Ultimately, the developed system will give the customer reliability and satisfaction, knowing a delivery route in advance.

  • In Mobile Ad-hoc Network, link failure and packet loss may occur frequently due to its nature of mobility and limited battery life. In this paper, an enhanced robust routing protocol based on AODV(Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing) by monitoring variation of receiving signal strength is proposed. New metric function that consists of node mobility and hops of path is used for routing decision. For preventing route failure by node movement during data transmission, a new route maintenance is presented. If the node movement is detected, the routing agent switches local path to its neighbor node. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed routing scheme is superior to previous AODV protocol.

  • Cable is very essential material for ship operation as connecting element for whole electrical facilities of ship. The material cost and installation man-hour increment caused by re-installation is unavoidable if cable route has some problem. The purpose of this study is to suggest methods to implement the cable visualization functionality for verifying whether cable route is accurate or not in design phase. This functionality is conducted by representing color of 3D model for strong visibility by refer to textual cable routing information. The electrical engineer can provide cable route information more accurate and on time for cable installation department. As a result, the material cost and installation man-hour reduce due to decreasing ratio of re-installation.
