  • Rosae laevigatae Fructus extract (RLF) was tested for the effects on the urethral nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity and Antioxidation in streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats. RLF was treated firstly into samples, and then STZ induced diabetic rats were set with them. In vitro, the urethral NOS activity was not noted but the type O activity and type conversion ratio of xanthine oxidase and the level of urethral lipid peroxide were decreased in the level of Dose of extract prepared from RLF. In vivo, after the extract was administered to the animal model for fifteen days, the urethral NOS activity increased in STZ induced diabetic rats to the level of normal rats. The content of urethral nitrite and glutathione followed by RLF pre-medicating administration, increased as highly as normal group in compare with the group treated with STZ. The type O activity and type conversion ratio of xanthine oxidase and the level of urethral lipid peroxide followed by RLF pre-medicating administration, decreased as lowly as normal group in compare with the group treated with STZ. In conclusion, the extract of RLF will be able to restore erectile dysfunction of STZ induced diabetic rats.

  • Objective: This study aimed to screen and identify the target genes of miR-375 in pig Sertoli (ST) cells and to elucidate the effect of miR-375 on the proliferation of ST cells. Methods: In this study, bioinformatics software was used to predict and verify miR-375 target genes. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect the relationship between miR-375 and its target genes in ST cells. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) of rearranged L-myc fusion (RLF) and hypoxia-induced gene domain protein 1A (HIGD1A) was performed on porcine ST cells, which were transfected with a miR-375 mimics and inhibitor to verify the results. Dual luciferase reporter gene assays were performed to assess the interactions among miR-375, RLF, and HIGD1A. The effect of miR-375 on the proliferation of ST cells was analyzed by CellTiter 96 AQueous One Solution Cell Proliferation Assay (MTS). Results: Five possible target genes of miR-375, including RLF, HIGD1A, colorectal cancer associated 2, POU class 3 homeobox 1, and WW domain binding protein 1 like, were found. The results of quantitative PCR suggested that mRNA expression of RLF and HIGD1A had a negative correlation with miR-375, indicating that RLF and HIGD1A are likely the target genes of miR-375. The ELISA results revealed that RLF and HIGD1A were negatively correlated with the miR-375 protein level. The luminescence results for the miR-375 group cotransfected with wild-type RLF and HIGD1A vector were significantly lower than those of the miR-375 group co-transfected with the blank vector or mutant RLF and HIGD1A vectors. The present findings suggest that RLF and HIGD1A are target genes of miR-375 and that miR-375 inhibits ST cell proliferation according to MTS analysis. Conclusion: It was speculated that miR-375 affects cell proliferation through its target genes, which play an important role in the development of testicular tissue.

  • This study was carried out to determine the response of the rice yield and grain quality by rice leaf folder (RLF, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis G.) and identify the damages caused by different transplanting dates, nitrogen amounts and chlorophyll amounts (SPAD value) of rice leaf. As the damage degree of RLF was getting severer, the ripened grain rate and 1000-grain weight were decreased and due to the increasing of chalky rice rate the rate of head rice was reduced. Therefore, the yield of head rice was decreased by 36% in heavily damaged rice plant. Among the physicochemical characteristics, protein content of rice grain was increased but amylose content was reduced, consequently, the palatability was deteriorated in heavily damaged rice by RLF. The degree of damage of RLF was getting serious as transplanting date was delayed and as the amount of nitrogen was increased. In the relationship between the SPAD value and the damage degree of RLF, as the SPAD value was increased by nitrogen fertilizing, the damage degree was also increased exponential functionally.

  • In this study, changes in testicular tissues of rats subjected to xylene and formaldehyde inhalation were evaluated. Three experimental groups were included in the study. Each group of rats was exposed to formaldehyde (6 ppm), technical xylene (300 ppm) or a combination of these two agents (150 ppm+3 ppm) for 8 weeks (8 h/d). Control groups were maintained for a period of eight weeks under the same conditions. Staining methods (triple staining, strep ABC method) were applied to examine histometric changes and relaxin like factor (RLF) expression in the testicular tissue. Immunostaining for RLF showed that density of staining for RLF decreased in rats exposed to formaldehyde. Formaldehyde or a combination of formaldehyde and xylene led to a decrease in seminiferous epithelial height. In conclusion, exposure of rats to formaldehyde and xylene-formaldehyde combinations adversely affects Leydig cells (RLF) and seminiferous epithelium of testicular tissue.

  • Ant Colony System(ACS) Algorithm is new meta-heuristic for hard combinational optimization problem. It is a population-based approach that uses exploitation of positive feedback as well as greedy search. Recently, various methods and solutions are proposed to solve optimal solution of graph coloring problem that assign to color for adjacency node($v_i, v_j$) that they has not same color. In this paper introducing ANTCOL Algorithm that is method to solve solution by Ant Colony System algorithm that is not method that it is known well as solution of existent graph coloring problem. After introducing ACS algorithm and Assignment Type Problem, show the wav how to apply ACS to solve ATP And compare graph coloring result and execution time when use existent generating functions(ANT_Random, ANT_LF, ANT_SL, ANT_DSATUR, ANT_RLF method) with ANT_XRLF method that use XRLF that apply Randomize to RLF to solve ANTCOL. Also compare graph coloring result and execution time when use method to add re-search to ANT_XRLF(ANT_XRLF_R) with existent generating functions.

  • Studies were conducted to investigate the incidense of insect pests in transplanted and direct seeded paddy fields in southern region of Korea. Population dencities of the rice green leafhopper (RGLH: Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler) and rice leaffolder (RLF: Cnaphalocroch medinalh Guenee) were higher in machine transplanted than in direct seeded, but the brown planthopper (BPH: Nilaparvata lugens Stal) and smaller brown planthopper (SBPH: Laodelphax striatellus Fallen) were abundant in direct seeded. However, no significant difference was found between machine transplanted and direct seeded fields in the incidense of rice stem borer (RSB: Chilo suppressalis Walker), whiteback planthopper (WBPH: Sogatella furcifera Horvath), and rice stem magot (RSM: C'hlorops oryzae Matsumura). Occurrence of rice key pests were affected more by transplanting time than other cultural practices. Later transplanting induced higher populations of BPH, WBPH, SBPH, RGLH. However, RSB and RLF caused higher damage in earlier transplanted paddy field.

  • These studies were carried out to investigate the occurrence of rice insect pests related to different transplanting times and N-P-K-fertilizer levels of paddy field in Southern region of Korea. The population densities of brown planthopper (BPH: Nilaparvata lugens Stal), whitebacked planthopper (WBPH: Sogatella furcifera Horvath), small brown planthopper (SBPH: Laodelphax striatellus Fallen), green rice leafhopper (GRLH: Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler), rice stem maggot (RSM: Chlorops oryzae Matsumura), striped rice borer (SRB: Chilo suppressalis Walker), and rice leaffolder (RLF: Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee) were affected more by transplanting time than the fertilizer levels. The later transplanting time induced the higher population densities of BPH, WBPH, SBPH, GRLH, RSM, whereas SRB and RLF were affected by earlier transplanting time in paddy field. The major pests except GRLH and SRB were increasingly induced by higher N-fertilizer level in the late transplanting.

  • In this paper, we propose a deployment and operation scheme of UxNB network toward mobile IAB. By operating a UxNB network based on SDN(Software Defined Network), UxNBs are deployed in areas where mobile communication services are desired. After deploying UxNB in the service area, IAB can be set up to perform mobile communication services. For this purpose, this paper first proposes a UxNB Network Controller consisting of a UAV Controller and an SDN Controller, and proposes the necessary functions. Next, we present a scenario in which a UxNB network can be deployed and operated in detail step by step. We also discuss the location of the UxNB network controller, how to deliver control commands from the UAV controller to the UxNB, how to apply IAB for UxNB networks, optimization of UxNB networks, RLF(radio link failure) recovery in UxNB networks, and future research on security in UxNB networks. It is expected that the proposed UxNB Network Controller architecture and UxNB network deployment and operation will enable seamless integration of UxNB networks into Mobile IAB.
