This study reviews previous studies about the effects of RFID capabilities on strategic supply chain competence and business performance in the Chinese context. This study introduces a new perspective that measures the degree to which RFID capability levels contribute to business performance. Such an assumption is based on the fact that companies build their own capabilities through RFID capabilities and that these capabilities provide a competitive advantage for enterprises. Data on all sorts of logistics, distribution, and manufacturing companies that introduced RFID system in China were collected for data analysis. This study analyzes the structural equation modeling using Smart-PLS 2.0 program. This study confirms that internal reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity are satisfied. The hypothesis test result on the relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence and strategic supply chain competence and company results is partially adopted. This study aids in establishing a RFID system construction strategy to enhance supply chain competence by suggesting guidelines for the successful introduction of RFID system through identifying the causal relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence. This study also suggests the influence of RFID competency on visibility, agility, flexibility, and collaborations.

최근 기업의 경영환경은 매우 급격히 변화하고 있으며 지속적인 고객가치 향상에 대한 압력을 받고 있다. IT투자의 가장 중요한 목표는 더 이상 단순히 생산비용을 낮추는 것이 아니고 최적화된 대량 생산을 위해 디지털로 연결된 세상에서 고객들과 파트너들에게 기업의 유용성을 높이는 데 있다. 따라서 기업들은 BPM을 통해 확장된 기업의 프로세스를 자동화 하고, 통합하고 최적화하기 위해 모든 역량을 집중하고 있다. 또한 RFID 응용시스템을 통해 기술적 측면에 접근하여 비즈니스 확장을 위한 시스템 개발에 주력하고 있다. 그러나 기술적 측면, 비즈니스 프로세스적인 측면 조직적인 측면을 함께 고려하여야 성공적인 기업 역량을 이룰 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 BPM 에 RFID 시스템을 통해 비즈니스 프로세스에 대한 접근 모델을 제안하였다. 이 방법론을 통해 비즈니스 프로세스 분석에서부터 시스템 분석 및 설계에 따른 시간 비용, 품질, 및 고객의 만족 수준에 혁신적인 개선을 이끌어내는 접근 방법론을 기대할 수 있다.

최근 정부는 IT839 전략을 발표하여 IT 산업의 새로운 서비스 도입과 신규 수요 창출에 역량을 집중하고 있으며, 신규 서비스로서 RFID/USN 도입을 강력히 추진[1][2]하고 있다. 또한 RFID/USN 활성화를 위한 새로운 시도의 일환으로 핸드폰에 RFID 리더기능을 접목시킨 모바일 RFID 구조를 제안[3]하여 기존의 RFID 리더기가 가지는 시공간 제약을 완화함으로서 더욱 다양한 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 초석을 세우고 모바일 RFID 포럼을 설립하여 다양한 서비스모델들을 검토중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 모바일 RFID 개념을 한단계 더 진화시켜 진정한 유비쿼터스 정보처리를 가능하게 해주는 모바일 USN 을 제안한다. 모바일 USN 은 RFID 태그를 진화시킨 USN 노드와 RFID 리더 내장형 휴대폰(줄여서 RFID 폰)을 개선한 USN 기능 내장형 휴대폰(줄여서 USN 폰)으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 또한 USN 노드와 USN 폰 간의 정보전달을 위하여 사용되는 소비에너지에 대하여 분석해보고 USN 노드와 USN 폰의 유지보수 비용을 대폭 개선하는 USN 노드-USN 폰간의 에너지 절감형 이벤트 전송 프로토콜을 제안한다.

All countries are fostering and developing RFID/USN Technology as a key growth industry due to not only the possibility of application to all industries but the expected profits through it. However, in case of RFID/USN domestic companies, as most of them are small or medium sized, with a weakness of technology and services, promotion policy and strategies are necessary to be established. In this study, we try to contribute to establishing the Policy for the RFID/USN industry promotion by analyzing the world companies which lead RFID/USN and by presenting the strategies which is optimized for overseas expansion and which can be applicable to the industry.

2002년 소비자 보호 및 기업의 제품 역량 강화를 위해 대두된 제조물 책임법으로 제품에 대한 소비자의 관심이 증대되고 제품 결함에 대한 기업의 책임이 강화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전기 전자 산업에서 제조물 결함에 의해 나타나는 기업 및 소비자의 손해 배상에 대한 분석과 제품 흐름별 PL법 사례를 제시한다. 또한, 신속한 기업 PL 예방과 대응을 위한 RFID 적용 전, 후 PL법 대응 프로세스 분석을 통해 RFID 적용 PL법 대응 방향을 제시한다. 더불어, PL법 대응 시스템 설계 시 접근 방향과 제품 라이프 사이클에서 제시되는 데이터 흐름 및 상세적용 정보를 제시하여 효과적인 PL법 대응 프로세스 구축 방향을 제시하고, 전기 전자 산업 사례 적용을 통하여 전기 전자 산업의 PL법 대응 프로세스 및 핵심 정보를 제시하고자 한다.

최근에 정부는 IT839 전략을 발표하여 IT산업의 새로운 서비스 도입과 신규 수요 창출에 역량을 집중하고 있으며, 신규 서비스로서 RFID/USN도입을 강력히 추진하고 있다. 이런 추세에 발맞추어 본 논문에서는 기존 passive RFID의 단점을 개선한 RFID/USN의 동향을 알아보고 USN활성화를 위한 범용 대국민 서비스, 공공 인프라서비스 등의 킬러서비스 드라이브 전략을 제시한다. 또한 이런 서비스들을 제공하기 위한 실용적인 USN구조를 설명한다. 현재 우리나라의 휴대폰 보유율은 3000만대를 넘어섰다. 이 모바일 휴대폰 각각은 훌륭한 USN단말기 역할이 가능하기에 모바일 휴대폰을 기반으로 하여 적은 투자로도 구축가능한 AnyTime, AnyWhere USN망을 제안한다.

Since 2004, the Korean government has been engaged in u-IT new technology verification projects in an effort to level up the industries. Recently, cases are reported that RFID/USN technology has been adopted and applied to business processes, mainly by large enterprises. However, further policies and support for the industries have been restrained because of unavailability of essential data for policy making. Therefore, the study examined the level of satisfaction among the actual recipient organizations from the 27 pilot projects to draw implications from the study result. Accordingly, the level of satisfaction was assessed in four project phases from RFID/USN building, utilization (technical quality), utilization (business quality), to maintenance. The study result showed that the technical stability reached a significant level but the level of satisfaction in the maintenance phase for the utilization and proliferation of the technology remained at the lowest. It suggested that a more specified policy support is needed in the maintenance phase to include inexpensive supply of tags and devices, a maintenance establishment of consortium to maintain reliability and continuity of service, strengthening internal competence of the beneficiary organizations for utilization of RFID/USN.

The application of ubiquitous technology offers many chances for improving construction management technologies. Currently the Construction System Integration Lab (CSIL) at Pusan National University is executing research on applying ubiquitous technology for better communication in the construction process. One of the research area is the implementation of RFID for monitoring the concrete pour process. The objective of this study is to collect data occurring in the process and use the data be properly planning concrete pour activities. Case study has been done on an actual concrete work. For the study a user environment was developed interfacing on internet with RFID devices that were installed in a batch plant and a construction site. The result of the test demonstrated that the RFID-based concrete monitoring can be a feasible approach for improving the communication in the construction process.
