  • The contents of RF test set which can be used for checking the function and performance of 13m antenna installed in KARI site are described in this paper. For the purpose of considering RF test set as the transceiver in COMS, it is designed to retransmit the LRIT and HRIT in L-Band after receiving them in S-Band from 13m antenna. Additionally, this set has a function to turnaround raging tone used for the measurement of distance between satellite and 13m antenna. The required all equipments of RF test set are summarized with configuration. Measurements of several equipments which have already been delivered are described in this paper. The assembled RF test set will be used for the verification of 13m antenna

  • The RF4Control stack is used with microcontrollers and IEEE(R) 802.15.4 transceivers. This paper explains the setup and power consumption measurements for the transceiver based remote controller and target node. It is assumed the reader of this paper has knowledge about RF4CE. The current consumption measurements are made using the ZigBee Platform included with the RF4Control stack. he current consumption measurements are presented, and battery life time is calculated for an remote controller. Note that the results presented in this paper are intended as a guideline only. A variety of factors will influence the battery life calculation and final measurements and calculations should be performed on ZigBee RF4CE Certified Platform.

Multi-Gbit/s Digital I/O Interface Based on RF-Modulation and Capacitive Coupling

  • We present a multi-Gbit/s digital I/O interface based on RF-modulation and capacitive-coupling over an impedance matched transmission line. The RF-interconnect(RFI) can greatly reduce the digital switching noise and eliminate the dc power dissipation over the channel. It also enables reduced signal amplitude(as low as 200 ㎷) with enhanced data rate and affordable circuit overhead. This paper addresses the system advantages and implementation issues of RFI. A prototype on-chip RFI transceiver is implemented in 0.18-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS. It demonstrates a maximum data rate of 2.2 Gbit/s via 10.5-㎓ RF-modulation. The RFI can be very instrumental for future high-speed inter- and intra-ULSI data links.

  • This paper presents a single antenna radar sensor with a Ku-band radar transceiver IC realized by 130 nm CMOS processes. In this radar receiver, sensitivity time control using a DC offset cancellation feedback loop is employed to achieve a constant SNR, irrespective of distance. In addition, the receiver RF block has gain control to adjust high dynamic range. The RF output power is 9 dBm and the full chain gain of the Rx is 82 dB. To reduce the direct-coupled Tx signal to the Rx in a single antenna radar, a stub-tuned hybrid coupler is adopted instead of a bulky circulator. The maximum measured distance between the horn antenna and a metal plate target is 6 m.

  • 본 연구에서는 자기공명영상에서 인체에 에너지를 주고, 신호를 받는 transceiver 역할을 하는 RF(Radio Frequency) 코일을 제작하여 phantom의 영상을 얻었다. 코일의 종류는 high-pass 타입의 birdcage형으로 제작을 하였으며, 영상을 얻는데 사용한 자기공명영상진단장비는 주 자기장의 세기가 1.5T인 GE사의 시스템이다. 이 시스템을 이용하여 phantom의 축방향과 축방향에 수직인 두 방향의 영상을 얻었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 WCDMA 규격[1,2]에 근거하여 WCDMA 기지국 무선부 설계 파라미터들로서, 수신기 잡음 지수(NF:Noise Figure), IIP3(Input 3$^{rd}$ order Intercept Point), ACS(Adjacent Channel Selectivity) 와 Blocking 특성을 만족하기 위한 여파기의 감쇠 특성 및 송신기 전체의 ACLR 특성을 만족하기 위한 송신기 구성 소자의 ACLR 특성 등을 고찰하였으며, 이와 같은 무선부 설계 파라미터를 기본으로 구현한 무선부의 시험 결과를 기술하였다.

  • This paper deals the application of sensor network system to fabricate wireless nodes. This node includes a CPLD(XC2C256), FPGA(XC3S1000) a RF module(Bim-433-F), a Hall Sensor and I also develop the CPLD(EPGA) controlling with Verilog-HDL using ISE. The network was consisst of a PC, a Sink node as a gateway, and three Sensor nodes. This sensor network can reaches 40 m with RF interface using by multi-path network.

  • 본 논문은 무선 음성/영상 송수신용 RF모듈 설계 및 제작하였다. RF 주파수는 정보통신부에서 고시한 영상전송용 2410, 2430, 3450, 2470MHz 사용하였으며 IF 주파수는 479.5MHz를 사용하였다. 설계 및 제작된 RF 모듈은 FR-4 재질인 유전체 4.6, 두게 0.8mm, 양면구조의 기판을 사용하여 50mm x 40mm 크기로 제작되었다. 설계된 송신기 모듈은 +5V 단일전원으로 9±1dBm의 출력과 주파수허용편차 50×10/sup -6/이하, 스퓨리어스 발사강도 기본주파수의 평균전력보다 40dB이하의 성능을 만족하였다. 수신기 모듈은 +5V 단일 전원으로 -80dBm이하의 수신감도로 만족할만한 성능을 보였다.
