적외선 센서용 VOx/ZnO/VOx 박막 증착 및 특성 연구

  • 비냉각 적외선 검출기는 산업용 군사용으로 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 이는 주야간 빛이 없는 곳에서도 사물의 열을 감지할 수 있어 인체감지 및 보안감시, 에너지 절감 등에 응용될 수 있는 핵심부품이다. 비냉각 적외선 검출기로는 재료의 저항의 변화를 감지하는 마이크로볼로미터형이 가장 많이 사용된다. 감지재료로는 비정질 실리콘(a-Si)과 산화바나듐(VOx)이 가장 많이 사용된다. VOx 박막은 일반적으로 RF sputtering 방법으로 증착이 되며, 저항이 낮고, 저항의 온도변화 계수(TCR)가 크며 신호 대 잡음 특성이 우수한 반면 산소(oxygen) phase가 다양하여 갓 증착된 상태의 박막은 재현성이 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 V 타겟을 사용한 VOx 박막을 증착하는 방법을 개선하여 ZnO 나노박막을 중간에 삽입하여 저항 특성을 조절할 뿐만 아니라 열처리에 의해 TCR 값을 향상시키고, VO2 phase 가 주로 나타나는 박막 증착 및 공정 방법을 소개한다. RF sputtering 장비를 이용하여 산소와 아르곤 가스의 혼합비를 4.5로 하였으며, VOx 증착 시 플라즈마 Power는 150 W 로 하여 상온에서 증착하였다. 갓 증착된 VOx 다층박막의 XRD 스펙트럼은 V2O5 피크가 주된 상을 이루고 있었으며, 산소열처리에 의해 VO2 상이 주로 나타남을 알 수 있었다. TCR 값은 갓 증착된 샘플에서 -0.13%/K의 값을 얻었으며, $300^{\circ}C$에서 50분간 열처리 후 -3.37%/K 으로 급격히 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 저항은 열처리 후 약 100 kohm으로 낮아져 검출소자를 위한 조건에 적합한 특성을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 산소열처리의 온도 및 시간에 따라 TCR 및 표면 거칠기 특성을 조사하였으며, 최적의 열처리 조건을 얻고자 하였다.

  • RFID technology using the smart tag technology as a part of the sensor network is currently in the spotlight. But there are still many problems in applying the technology in a ubiquitous environment, induding at the point when anybody can read the tag information and the authentication between the tag and the reader, and security problems in very low-cost smart tag implementation. The proposed scheme is designed to enhance security and efficiency related to various services required in RF networks, based on the reliable peripheral devices for users of passive RFID tag. Using passive RFID tag, which has been applied to authentication transactions in existing papers, this study also proposed an appropriate management scheme that is suitable for a dynamic environment and setting a temporary group to provide various services. also proposed scheme is support RFID grouping, temporary group of service and security servicce, improved efficiency of communication.

  • As computer network and wireless technology continue to grow rapidly, a wide range of remote application has been applied to medical field such as remote medical consulting and remote patient monitoring. This research aims to design RF telecommunication-based healthcare application to collect and manage patient's physiological data, and describe the overall procedure of experiment. MySQL database is designed to record patient's physiological data including temperature, blood pressure and heart rate and save information about medical behaviors such as doctor's prescription for patients. Therefore, users approved by healthcare application can query patient's data and collected data can be used to reorganize data for clinical test. As a result, temperature and humidity of patient's room which must be checked frequently can be processed automatically through ubiquitous sensor network. The information entered from mobile phones or web is saved in database, ensuring systematical management through computer. Moreover, patient's family members can easily access hospital data, improving their experience with medical service.

  • In order to satisfy the graduation requirements, the graduation work should be presented as an engineering dissertation system of the produced work and an outline of the procedure made by the major unit in accordance with the graduation thesis submission rules, and suggests necessary matters for improvement. The design content relates to a small unmanned aerial vehicle configuration for detecting personnel or objects in a disaster area. It is equipped with an infrared sensor and a GPS in the drone, the drone is control by using Blutooth communications. The drones detect the target and use the GPS to determine the location. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to detect the structure object within the range of 3~4 m, confirm the transmission of the position value in real time, and increase the communication distance by using RF communication.

  • Long-term use of digital screens in daily life can lead to computer vision syndrome including symptoms such as eye strain, dry eyes, and headaches. To prevent computer vision syndrome, it is important to limit screen usage time and take frequent breaks. There are a variety of applications that can help users know the screen usage time. However, these apps are limited because users see various screens such as desktops, laptops, and tablets as well as smartphone screens. In this paper, we propose and evaluate machine learning-based models that detect the screen device in use using color, IMU and lidar sensor data. Our evaluation shows that neural network-based models show relatively high F1 scores compared to traditional machine learning models. Among neural network-based models, the MLP and CNN-based models have higher scores than the LSTM-based model. The RF model shows the best result among the traditional machine learning models, followed by the SVM model.

  • At the current camera-based technology level, sensor-based basic life pattern recognition technology has to suffer inconvenience to obtain accurate data, and commercial band products are difficult to collect accurate data, and cannot take into account the motive, cause, and psychological effect of behavior. the current situation. In this paper, radar technology for life pattern recognition is a technology that measures the distance, speed, and angle with an object by transmitting a waveform designed to detect nearby people or objects in daily life and processing the reflected received signal. It was designed to supplement issues such as privacy protection in the existing image-based service by applying it. For the implementation of the proposed system, based on TI IWR1642 chip, RF chipset control for 60GHz band millimeter wave FMCW transmission/reception, module development for distance/speed/angle detection, and technology including signal processing software were implemented. It is expected that analysis of individual life patterns will be possible by calculating self-management and behavior sequences by extracting personalized life patterns through quantitative analysis of life patterns as meta-analysis of living information in security and safe guards application.

  • In this study, two different types of complementary electrochromic devices using amorphous $WO_{3}$ films as a working electrode, $V_{2}O_{5}$ film and NiO film as counter electrodes respectively were investigated. For the devices using amorphous and crystalline $V_{2}O_{5}$ films of $100{\sim}150nm$ thickness with $ITO/WO_{3}/LiClO_{4}-PC/V_{2}O_{5}/ITO$ structure, an optical modulation of $50{\sim}60%$ were obtained at a potential range of $1{\sim}2V$. It has been shown that transmittance and reflectance of light could be electrically controlled by low applied voltage. For the devices with $ITO/WO_{3}/LiClO_{4}-PC/NiO/ITO$ structure in which NiO film was deposited by a RF reactive sputtering, the optical modulation in visible light region (${\lambda}=550nm$) and in near infrared light region (${\lambda}=850nm$) were 25% and 30%, respectively.

  • Normally, aero photography using UAV uses about 430 MHz bandwidth radio frequency (RF) modem and navigates and remotely controls through the connection between UAV and ground control system. When using the exhausting method, it has communication range of 1-2 km with frequent cross line and since wireless communication sends information using radio wave as a carrier, it has 10 mW of signal strength limitation which gave restraints on life my distance communication. The purpose of research is to use communication technologies such as long-term evolution (LTE) of smart camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other communication modules and cameras that can transfer data to design and develop automatic shooting system that acquires images to UAV at the necessary locations. We conclude that the android based UAV filming and communication module system can not only film images with just one smart camera but also connects UAV system and ground control system together and also able to obtain real-time 3D location information and 3D position information using UAV system, GPS, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and magnetic measuring sensor which will allow us to use real-time position of the UAV and correction work through aerial triangulation.

Characteristics of a-Si:H Multilayer for Contact-type Linear Image Sensor (밀착형 1차원 영상감지소자를 위한 a-Si:H 다층막의 특성)

  • We have fabricated a-Si:H multilayer for contact-type linear image sensor by means of RF glow discharge decomposition method. The ITO/i-a-Si:H/Al structure has relatively high dark current due to indium diffusion and carrier injection from both electrodes, resulting in low photocurrent to dark current. To suppress the dark current and to enhance interface electric field between ITO and i-a-Si:H film we have fabricated ITO/insulator/i-a-S:H/p-a-S:H/Al multilayer film with blocking structure. The photocurrent of ITO/$SiO_{2}(300{\AA})$/i-a-Si:H/p-a-Si:H($1500{\AA}$)/Al multilayer sensor with 5V bias voltage became saturated at about 20nA under $20{\mu}W/cm^{2}$ light intensity, while the dark current was less than 0.1nA. To increase the light generation efficiency we have adopted ITO/$SiO_{x}N_{y}(300{\AA})$/i-a-Si:H/p-a-Si:H($1500{\AA}$)/Al structure, showing photocurrent of 30nA and dark current of 0.08nA with 5V bias voltage. Also the spectral photosensitivity of the multilayer was enhanced for short wavelength visible region of 560nm, compared with that of the a-Si:H monolayer of 630nm. And its photoresponse time was about 0.3msec with the film homogeneity of 5% deviation.

  • Recently, gamma radiographic equipments have been used about 1,000 sets manually and operated by about 2,500 persons in Korea. In order for a radiography to work effectively with avoiding any hazard of the high level radiation from the source, many field workers have expected developing a wireless automatic remote exposure controller. The KlTCO research team has developed an automatic remote exposure controller that can regulate the speed of $0.4{\sim}1.2m/s$ by BLDC motor of 24V 200W which has output of $54kgf{\cdot}cm$, suitable torque and safety factor for the work. And the developed automatic remote exposure controller can control rpm of motor, pigtail position by photo-sensor and exposure time by timer to RF sensor. Thus, the developed equipment is expected that the unit can be used in many practical applications with benefits in economical advantage to combine the use of both automatic and manual type because attachment is possible existent manual remote exposure controller, AC and DC combined use.
